ISLAMABAD: The ruling coalition government has brushed aside the National Security Council (NSC) while taking some crucial decisions on how to deal with the growing threat of militancy, hence rendering it completely inactive. Arguably the most crucial decision taken so far by the incumbent set-up is the adoption on June 26 of a multi-pronged strategy to deal with the militancy in the settled areas of the NWFP. Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, who chaired the meeting, gave approval to the strategy. President Pervez Musharraf was not part of the consultations.

The News is even hynotized that instead of asking this parliament dysfuntional, hes still blaming the one to whom NS has already ruled out as a threat to anything.
1) Dear News, this action is illegal as its not approved by Parliament.
2) Parliament is mum on the issue, no debate. All the parliamentarians are a part of this guilt(illegal action) as no one has submitted the requisition for Parliament session so far.
