They should stop spending (wasting) money on the freaking military. I mean 3% of gdp on military, I do not think that much is spent on the education. They should think about PRODUCTIVITY. Spend money on exploration in oil and gas sector including offshore and I think Balochistan has the potential. This will reduce the dependability of importing oil from other countries. Do something instead of sitting on your lazy a$$e$.

I agree with you that the utilization of the budget should be brought under discussion and reassessed. I read an article by Dr Kaiser Bengali where he said that Pakistan has been a national security state since the 1980s. To progress, we have to become a development state again, which is essentially what you are saying too. I’m just wondering, can we afford to reduce military spending? We all know that we do have enemies out there. The threat of enemies has not been exaggerated. Instead of looking at this emotionally, analyze it logically. Can we let up on military spending long enough to do some development? I do not have answers to these questions, so if someone does, please feel free to share.
