The innovative idea of Jhang DCO Zubair K Bhatti, which is now under consideration at the government level in Lahore, may also get approval for possible enforcement throughout the province.

The clerks of the Revenue Department were told that the officer would personally call all those citizens on their mobile numbers to find out if they had been asked to pay any bribe or commission above and beyond the taxes due, if any. Later, the officer did exactly the same what he had earlier told the clerks and, within a few weeks, things changed miraculously vis-‡-vis land transfers.
