JC is like a lot of people -(who comment on this web site). Study and scholarship and research is HARD WORK and needs time to do it properly.
Well since most of the people including Nawaz Sahreef and Zardari I might add know very little about anything.
So why should JC try to be accurate when he can get by his kaka meme stories that he makes up with some facts and mostly his own imagination and the package has all the masala that everyone in Pakistan likes.

JC uses narratology to put his point across, which I feel is a great technique.

Agreed that many parts of his narratives could be fictitious, but I would argue whose narrative is absolute depiction of reality? Nobody’s. We, as human beings, construct reality in the form of stories, and every one adds and subtracts sub consciously to tells a story communicate as well as to make sense of the world he or she lives in.

I think using narratives is great, as it makes sense-making process easy for the viewers.

    @GM

I believe Mr. Gabol is out of touch with his own country and has the gall to suggest that only one constitutency is concerned about restoring the judiciary. Such comments are not only incorrect they are inappropriate and just plain politically stupid. I say shame on PPP because they cant seem to figure out a messaging strategy because if you are going to screw over the nation- at least learn how to finesse it!

Although I am a die-hard Bhutto supporter, I think Ahsan Iqbal might be the brightest bulb in the PML-N chandelier, that is when there is no load shedding. Alas, right guy, wrong party.

So, what is your opinion of Ahsan Iqbal? Do you agree with my assessment? I think he needs to be a leader, play on the front foot a bit more aggressively. Get ahead of the PMLN pack…they seem to be a drag on his potential.

Plz elaborate…u r suggesting that he should lead a new party?

well..i think he has choice best available option. PMLN is at least better than other parties and it leaves no alternative for him.

If he or people like him will leave the party , then bad guys will definitely fill that vacuum.

He needs to be in a decision making role. And i do think that he needs to get back in to the cabinet. If PMLN wont let him he needs to think about how to contribute at a national level. Why should we lose his talent because politics is getting in the way? I do think Pakistan is in grave danger of imploding and in danger of an economic meltdown- I think smart, educated men like him cant afford to sit it out. Its a travesty. Even the PPP guys say only good things about him. That says a lot in today’s climate. I say dump the PMLN. Become independent and get back in to the cabinet! Or since today there was such a love fest between him and the ANP dude, may be he can join the ANP.

PPP’s Mr. Gabol : Your party should also resign rightaway, if now they think they can’t sovlve people’s problem as promises, atleast they will be in good book like PML-N.

If they can’t leave their ministeries, and side by side can’t change any situation as promised to the public of Pakistan, and still want to remain in power, it smells fishy!!! They don’t care about their names in good book, but interested in making money as they have done in the past.

I am a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf member, however still very very nice point put up by Gabool …. Asking PMLN to bring the bill in the parliament for restoration of Judiciary !

Ahsan is speechless for the first time !

  23. comment-top

    @hasskhan

It was rather low at his part (Gabool) becos he also said PMLN should do it just for token registeeration of their stance (when Ahsan said that we dont have numbers and it will be just embarrasement) .

It clearly indicates, he is saying u go to hell with ur stance, we will NOT support even if u bring the bill by urself.

And in the end, if u have noticed, he even backtracked form this offer by saying that party will decide in party meeting and it was just my personal opnion.

I think u made a premature statement witout watching the whole programme.

May I ask: So what? So what if PML(N) brings up the bill in the parliament for restoration of Judiciary and PZP doesn’t support it. I think it would be an embarrassment for PZP if anything and not for PML(N)….

first … please don’t do personal biased analyze about me … that i’ve done premature analysis without watching the whole program.

people of pakistan should demand a clarification in PLMN’s stance by asking them to bring a bill in the parliament. this attitude is not acceptable anymore that you are staying in the grey area !

haji adeel is absolutely right …. when he gave reference of past when PLMN didnt resigned and they did …. when resignation was utmost needed.

also, please lets not forget the billions of dollars of corruption, steel mill in saudi arabia and the supreme court assault which Nawaz Sharif and Co had been doing in past !

i do not think that after 6 months even G.M will be able to defend his beloved PML (N)..PPP is Q league now and PML (N) is MMA…only concern for PML (N) at the moment is to save punjab Govt. .rest they do not care

    comment-bottom
  27. comment-top

    @hasskhan

do u know wich resignation Haji adeel was talking about?
It was not that PMLN did not resign, rather he was referring to a time when PML members defected and formed govrment in 1993 after establishment’s strike on PML govrenment.
Some members of PML did not defet and those were the memebrs who actually can be called as PMLN members from thereone.

    comment-bottom
  28. comment-top

    @ GM

i know exactly what haji adeel is talking about, and we should see his reference to the context he is making rather than looking it from post-15 year time period.

i fully support NS and Co, just like millions of people out there however this argument is now getting unbearable that “we are in coalition for a smooth transition from dictatorship to democracy” …. i was expecting a strong reaction from NS:

    1) when PPPP included MQM , but they didn’t reacted at all.
    2) when PPPP increased the number of judges through finance bill.
    3) when PPPP made rehman malik incharge of negotiation and de-fact supervisor of operations in northern areas.
    4) when PPPP increased the prices of locally produced LPG.

so all in all, the grey attitude of PLMN is getting unbearable for people of pakistan and this is clearly evident in talk shows and current affairs programs.

    comment-bottom
  29. comment-top

    @hasskhan
But PML(N) did react in all cases:
    1) when PPPP included MQM , but they didn’t reacted at all.
PML(N): We don’t like ‘em but we will stick with the coalition…

    2) when PPPP increased the number of judges through finance bill.
PML(N): Hope no one finds out we WROTE the bill to increase the no. of judges to SAVE the coalition…

    3) when PPPP made rehman malik incharge of negotiation and de-fact supervisor of operations in northern areas.
PML(N): We don’t like it but we we were not taken into confidence…

    4) when PPPP increased the prices of locally produced LPG.
PML(N): We don’t like it but we we were not taken into confidence BUT we are not going to leave the coalition….

Sorry GM but those are the facts….

blacks got voting right in 1865 when 13-15th amendments where passed. But still they ppl in south would make up any bad excuse to stop black ppl votes.

like education >> they should read and write\
2nd they had to pay fee to register vote which blacks couldnt afford.

voting act of 1965 said they should be no charge to register for vote plus one person one vote and no one can vote for somebody for example like if your brother is sick you can go out and vote for him.

    Dear Fellow Country Men

Great job Javed. Ch. But don’t know why abuses of the third degree slips out of my mouth as soon PPP’s representative start their Fu**ing shameless BB ka Murder, BB ki Shahadat ,whenever they are speechless, like she was a Khalifa of Muslim Uma (God Forbid). Can’t these blinds see the history of that Behisti Jora, BB and her BABA Zardari.

Her whole family deserved what they did in their past. And still their remains follow the hypocrisy of theie latters. The least credible personalities of Pakistan e.g Asif Zardar. Mr. 10%, the shameless Lotter Mr. Rehman Malik, and others and i bet everyone on this panel that those precarious moments aren’t far when people will strip their cloths in streets and rest of them will take refuge in USA and UK.

And even there we Pakistanies won’t let them enjoy their lives. Because the curse we have made to ourselve we all deserve to be Lotted by these shameless blokes. We chose them…We danced and shouted..Jeye Bhotto..now we don’t have resources to even Kill ourselves. We shouted the slogans..Tiger is coming,, now these tigers are eating our flesh.

Open your eyes and hearts, don’t feel shame in criticising these Shameless Ones. AND DON’T CHOOSE THEM AGAIN, OR BE READY FOR THE SAME CURSE FOREVER. Atleast I WON’T, THAT I PROMISE!!

    @ Ya.Allah. Khair,

If you dont mind, my humble request to you that this website is providing the oportunity to everyone for expressing your view points on multiple issues related to our political, social, religious, economical effecting to our homeland Pakistan. Its nice to use decent worlds even though you want to express your anger. In last many months, more or less hundred and thousands of comments gone through my eyes but some was really very harsh like you just brought forward July 13, 2008 at 02:38 a.m against the Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Sahiba and her political party.

She is no more in this world, and she lost her precious life in the struggle of power with dictator. Atleast dont say some thing bad for her after her assasination. But you can criticize Asif Ali Zardari and his political team without involving Benazir Bhutto Sahiba reference. Its really disturbing for millions of Benazir Bhutto’s supporters like me. Thanks,

I tend to agree with Mr. Gabol. He has given an opportunity to PMLN by stating to bring up a resolution in the parliament, at least they can clear their stance even if none other coalition partners bolster them. Only then the AWAM would be able to find out where all these coalition partners stand. I think they are all playing “blame game” at the moment and have succeeded in entangling us all in these so called issues created by their leaders themselves.
The leaders of all the major parties have their own vested interests due to which one wants a quick resolution and the other wants to procrastinate it as long as possible. Please allow me to bring up something and by no means I want to sound pejorative to any party’s supporters here. Firstly, I think Mr. Zardari does not want to restore the judges because of NRO and his own cases. Secondly Sharif family wants to restore the judges to use them in their confrontationist activities. I am witness to many of Mr. Shahbaz’s new regime’s victims in Punjab. We all actually have very little knowledge of what is actually going on “BEHIND THE SCENES”. None of them really care for the masses as quoted by MR. Haji that , this has become “ANA KA MASLA”.

    Dear Sir (H. Chaudhary)

Your comments Sar Anknon Par. But I have courage to malign the names of the traitor of Pakistan. Mir Jafar, Yazid, Shah of Iran all died as muslim but still they are remembered as VILLANS of their times. Kindly convince me why should i respect those who lotted Pakistan directly, indirectly by their Jyalas, their Chamchas, and by forfronting her Husband one of the biggest traitors of Asia. Mr. 10%.

Please convince the viewer why Larkana, Karhi Khuda Bakhsh are still one of the least literate areas of Sindh when the Mohatarmas own son and the so called Future leader of Pakistan, (who doesn’t even know his language, area of Pakistan, problems of Pakistan, no regards/news of Pakistan) is studying in the oldest and reputed Institution of Oxford.

Please tell me why 100 billions were scrapped upon her Murder, Mr.10% apologies to Balochies to make himself a hero, but no Apologies to the Pure Karachites, the innocent businessmen whos everything was lotted, burnt JUST AND JUST BECAUSE OF THAT CURSE, OUR MOHTARMA.

Anyone raised their voice against it. Will you justify it?? Who got freed from NRO, the traitors, lotters, abusers, currupt ones, and because of whom. Your beloved deceased Mohtarma!!

Only Imran Khan raised voice against Karachi massacre, agains the biggest traitor of all time. Altaf Hussain, against Mr.10% and his illdoing, against Mulana Fazal-ur-Rehman and against anyone which takes 180 degree about turn from their principles.

Please explain all this then analyze yourself where your perception, your passion, loyality and affection for Mohtarma BB, and PPP stands. Are you doing justice to the sayings of Allah and his Rasool who order not to support the evil, or atleast feel BAD about them, if can’t stop them by hand or raise voice against them.

I support who support my Mother land, who speaks the truth, who acts like a loyal Pakistan. I HAVE NO REGARDS TO PPP, PMLN AND MULANA DIESEL, the biggest hypocites, traitors and lotters of their times.
