you said “that is very much on the cards”. what is very much on the cards? let me be more specific.

I read soemwhere that Fatima, Sassi etc. are trying to form a group against AZ, and Amin Fahim is also being invited to join it. Is this what you are talkign about when you say “according to your sources, thatis on the cards”.

    OR

DO you mean NS contacting Fahim

that bit of info you refer to was in the papers…but it isn’t quite like that yet. the old guard is meeting…mumtaz, jatoi, others….and i know that fatima and co are on good terms with mumtaz.

So yes…Nawaz needs to addres AA and Amin Fahim…and NS already has an old relationship with old guard (jatoi, mumtaz, etc) …

How the two meet…will depend on AA…if he is smart (as i think he is) if and when he agrees to kick zardaro in the butt…he will invite fatima, sassi, all former diehards to join the ranks…but will he?

as much as i would like to disagree with you…and TK might too…i think you are right there….but then again….the way things are unfolding..just need a spark to get the fire going..

NS can create the spark…by making that public appeal to disgruntled leaders of PPP to join the APDM…!! (it will have atleast two significant outcomes: 1. zardaro’s credibility will be directly questioned 2. in case of early elections NS will have a major victory and PPP minus zardaro bloc..will eat away at their national vote bank in a major way with PML-N support

it takes a politician to say..that it (anti amin fahim stance) was a request from zardaro..and he believed that he was dealing with the party of the SHaheed benazir…shaheed zulfiqar…but instead he was dealing with zar-dari…

Good article on agriculture/water issue: http://www.thenews.com.pk/daily_detail.asp?id=123482

I was going to email this to the agricultaral minister just for the heck of it when I realized they don’t provide email addresses on the pakistan gov’t website, only phone numbers. Which is somewhat absurd but not as absurd as the fact that our agricularal minister Nazar Muhammad Gondol is also our narcotics minister.

But there should be talk show programs on land reforms/changing of the farm laws.

Even though I want this to happen, and I want zardari and his chamchas to be kicked out of the party for good, there is one fear in my mind. NS labeled Amin Fahim as pro-establishment remember? From, certain sources that I trust, I have got confirmation that Amin Fahim is pro-establishment.

Now, if such a colloid is formed between NS, AF, the real bhuttos etc., would the establishment gain something from this, specially by having Amin Fahim in the mix of things.

So, here is the situation today:
    - US planes carried out a strike in South Waziristan, injuring many people and NATO is suggesting that the strike was justified (http://thepost.com.pk/)
    - India is accusing Pakistan of aiding infiltration into held Kashmir (http://thenews.jang.com.pk/top_story_detail.asp?Id=15940)
    - Shah Mehmud Qureshi (SMQ) is sucking up to Condoleezza Rice and is suggesting that “US respects Pakistan’s sovereignty: Qureshi” (http://thenews.jang.com.pk/top_story_detail.asp?Id=15941). I mean you have to be an absolute an absolute moron if you really mean it, which he (SMQ) is. His stance is no different from the kuss-chod Haqqani who has tried to make people believe that the US (somehow) has done (something) good for Pakistan (excuse my French but these low-life retards make me sick to my stomach with their moronic statements).

All the top Mo-Fokkers in ZPP are spreading the same propaganda that (somehow) US has done good for Pakistan. The noose is getting tight around Pakistan and that day is not too far, if things remain this way, that it will get difficult to even breathe and as realistic it may seem, I really do not want to think about it.

WASHINGTON: United States Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Admiral Mike Mullen will be in Pakistan to “read the riot act” to the government and express his country’s frustration with Islamabad’s lack of ability or willingness, or both, to move decisively against terrorist groups.

A well-informed source, when asked if US patience with what it sees as Pakistani “flip-flop and procrastination” is running out, said: “It is very close to that.” When it does, the world will see unilateral US military action, covert and overt, in the Tribal Areas. Actionable intelligence, when received, will be acted upon immediately, “with or without Pakistan”, he added….

Action must be taken so that mosque supervisors recognize Israel, said European Affairs Minister Andrea Rochi.

I remember this quote from my revolutionary france class:

“If the priveleged order were abolished, the nation would not be anything less than it is, but rather something more. Thus, what is the Third Estate? Everything, but a hobbled and oppressed everything. What would it be without the priveleged classes? Everything — but a free and flourishing everything.” - Sieyes 1789

This is who Pakistani’s have to get rid of: feudals/ ultra right wing mullahs/ army generals/ ethnic based parties/ inheritors of political legacies/ opposers of a free judiciary/ supporters of the NRO/ sell outs to foreign interests - then the masses will flourish.

Who will respond to American terrorism - editorial daily Jassarat

After yet another US attack on Pakistan’s military check post and wounding 9 soldiers, the papers asks: who will respond to the US terrorism? The US claimed the attack was on terrorist camp. The paper asks, are our soldiers, who are being sacrificed by the Pakistani regime at the alter of US war, also terrorists? The last line says, Pakistani leaders have totally submitted to the US as slaves. Otherwise at least they should pull out of the US “war on terror.”

This editorial that says a lot more than a quick summary above is not fromt eh Taliban. it is not a circular from madrassa or a flyer for Jihad. This is coming from one of the leading national dailies. Thhis is not misinterpreting Islam. This is not using Islam to “radiclaize” Muslims. It is stating facts which Pakistanis are witnessign and living on daily basis. For the analysts sitting thousands of miles away, it is easy to blame everything on Islam, fundamentalism, extremism and avoid the root causes of of unrest and grievances. But those who live through this reality don’t even need this editorial. They know more than this editorial can put together in a politically correct way.

US General Says Bush Administration Guilty Of War Crimes

The Army general who led the investigation into prisoner abuse at Iraq’s Abu Ghraib prison accused the Bush administration Wednesday of committing “war crimes” and called for those responsible to be held to account.
The remarks by Maj. Gen. Antonio Taguba, who’s now retired, came in a new report that found that U.S. personnel tortured and abused detainees in Iraq, Afghanistan and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, using beatings, electrical shocks, sexual humiliation and other cruel practices.

“After years of disclosures by government investigations, media accounts and reports from human rights organizations, there is no longer any doubt as to whether the current administration has committed war crimes,” Taguba wrote. “The only question that remains to be answered is whether those who ordered the use of torture will be held to account.” more….

Remember she can’t protect her own “honour” as TK posted above(”YRG Complains to Zardaro that Rehman Malik usko class meN ungal detaa rehta hai”). I hope she read today’s “The News” with her FM saying Pakistan is in the eye of the storm. Also I would suggest her to read Dr Farrukh Saleem’s piece titled The Yanks are coming.

Remember this little gem? Well here’s more proof we are closer to Italians than we think….
    MPs pass Berlusconi immunity bill
…The amendment protects top public officials, including the prime minister and president, from prosecution….. Another bill reforming the justice system, which would freeze all trials for alleged crimes committed before 2002, is currently making its way through parliament.

The killer excuse offered for the “NRO” is by their Justice Minister Angelino “Naik” Alfano:
“Having brilliantly won the elections, Silvio Berlusconi deserves to be able to calmly govern this government. And this country needs to be governed.”

(For those still having doubts, remember in the first two elections he won he made tons of promises to his voters but of course he did not keep them. This time his campaing was based on “No promises!” which was good enough for the Italians to elect him for the third time :) )

“ADAM SMITH’S PRAISE OF THE KHILAFAH”

Adam Smith, the 18th Century founder of modern economics whose picture is printed on the current UK £20 note, was exceedingly inspired by the Islamic method of governing. He proclaimed that:

“…the empire of the Caliphs seems to have been the first state under which the world enjoyed that degree of tranquility which the cultivation of the sciences requires. It was under the protection of those generous and magnificent princes, that the ancient philosophy and astronomy of the Greeks were restored and established in the East; that tranquility, which their mild, just and religious government diffused over their vast empire, revived the curiosity of mankind, to inquire into the connecting principles of nature.” *

Leaders from third world countries can be tried in the "International" court in at
the Hague. This time it is the
    Sudanese leader
succeeding Charles Tailor from Liberia. "Real" justice from "democratic"
Europeans…..gasp….. They didn’t have the guts to make a statement against
the butcher Sharon. He committed crimes against humanity in Lebanon (Sabra and
Shatila). They will not miss a chance to have a go against weak opponents. It’s
all about their business to show their ugly "human" face………"human rights"….new

The “chattel” will still be here, and the chattel will need some obedient “naukars” that the foreigners can control remotely (moreso than before).

The british killed off the Muslim ruling class, and advanced the likes of illegitimate bihari types who didn’t have the NUTS to live honourably in an India that we ruled for a thousand years.

What a fokking joke our “ruling class” has been. I propose execution for all 20 thousand of them.
