a simple test for Zardari’s honesty:

bring the resolution vs constituion-package issue to parliament and have a voting on this. whatever the result is should be put into action.

Does somebody know what a COAS and Chief Executive and President and Generalissimo get after retirement :) ? Is Mushi going to get pensions for all these positions? Also, this doesn’t look like a house that is being built for a ‘chasmo chirag’ of a middle-class family of Pakistan…..

Just watch the Part1 from 39:40 to 41:05, where Nusrat Javed even went this far to equate NS exit to saroor palace to Mushis safe exit to promote his mantra”no oil if trial”. Hes realy a democrat jouranalist or no more than a mouthpiece of AZ.

@ Asif …. very right ………Nusrat Javaid was always mouthpiece of PPP and now Zardari.

During Zia regime, if you were from left naturally you were with PPP. But now this is changed. But people like Nusrat Javed and Abbas Athar (from express newspaper) are probably too ashamed to change their stance as people like them (specially NJ) consider it embarassing to accept that they could be wrong.

    Restoration of Judiciary :
72 Hours is just a hoax to buy time to facilitate Musharaf flee the country.
Asif Zardari and Nawaz Sharif would not like to take the blame for 72 Hours delay in restoring the judges, so they used shoulders of Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman and ANP Chief. Musahraf and his protectors did not like the idea of Chief Justice Ifthikhar Chowdhry coming back to his seat, and grant stay order on petitions filed against mushi deserting the country. Wake up sleeping politicians and people of Pakistan, before it is too late.

I don’t understand all those who are supporters of Ch Iftikhar and NZ, why don’t you have space for others opinion. It means you are denying the fundamentals of democracy ,” right of expression”. No doubt ch iftikhar must be restored, but in democracy you have to have courage to listen to others. If Nusrat Javaid says something it does not make any difference.
I would like to say to all the well wishers of Nawaz that if he was not in a position to do whatever he thinks right is the fact he ran away from this country. if he had stood with his men and against musharaf in 1999 and 2000, history would have been different.

I totally agree with you about Nawaz Sharif that “if he had stood with his men and against musharaf in 1999 and 2000, history would have been different.” The nation rightly expects that political leaders should be willing to suffer all hardships and torture for the sake of their principles.

But perhaps it is difficult to judge what went on in Nawaz Sharif’s mind when he was in jail. Perhaps his human weaknesses got the better of him and he could not bear when his whole family was put behind bars and his elderly father was repeatedly insulted. Maybe thats why he agreed to go into exile.

Accepting exile can be called a mistake. Any how, what matters most is his track record after that mistake. He has done all the right things, did not negotiate with dictator, opposed NRO, refused to get any benefit from NRO, supported judges, did not accept PCO courts, refused to recognize and plead his case in front of PCO judges, opposed blindly following american diktats and so on.

All this is what has made him the most popular national leader at this time.

listening to some one’s opinion and get committed to some thing are two different things………..why is this the case with ppp that after every commitment they realised that they have got the right of difference of opinion…….why the bloody hell they don’t do this before making any commitments…..

thats just absolutely ridiculous that after every commitment that this goon zardari comes up with some thing new………..why the hack he just say it once for all that he wanted to reinstate judges with constitutional package…………..gosh this is sickening stuff whenever they just deviate with this judges issue and than their representatives on talk shows start doin this “old qawali” of shaheedon ki party and bla bla bla……..

they dont even know what to say and just talk giberish all the time…….

now musharaf is gone atleast some one put the end to all this, atleast NZ leaves this suck up coalition so atleast ppl know who is standing where…………

    I may be wrong… but I think

    1. PPP will not restore judges or will not restore Iftikhar Ch and will constitutionally indemnify Musharraf.
    2. PML-N will leave the coalition
    3. US and UK will give money to PPP to run the government.
    4. Operation in swat and FATA will continue
    5. Musharraf will go for National Assembly in next election.
    6. He will either contest from PPP or PML-Q or Independent (That doesn’t make any difference)
    7. He will become PM or president again. (Read the current comments of Obama / McCain – they both are supporting Musharraf – UK and EU as well)
    8. The war on terror will go on…..

May be my analysis is wrong……..
