nusrat jawed has said one very important thing in his today’s show that who was that non-political element during all the negotiation…..

by lukin at zardari’s recent tv statement it seems like he is been indirectly blackmailed by some forces so its our journalist’s job to bring out that figure or atleast should shed some light on that……..who are those internal and external friends which zardari mentioned in his statement..

its professional dishonest on these journalist’s behalf that even if they know any thing they won’t say a word…….

I am following the debate on this forum since last week.

Some PPP supporters complained that there isn’t any criticism on NS. The thing is whoever is supporter of lawyers’ movement is also supporting NS. For the time being NS has presented himself as the person who is incredibly sincere with this cause. The idea of independent judiciary at present is the most popular among students or our educated class in comparison with the other segments of society. Let NS change his stance a little, you will see the equally severe criticism on him. Basically they are not hardcore NS supporters. This thing should understand by the PPP supporters.

I strongly feel that this coalition should have continued. But NS was in a dilema. On the one side his popularity on stake on the other hand coalition was on stake. Finally he choose his popularity.

But there is still one thing NS can do. That he should not do politics of confrontation. He may do issue bu issue support to PPP even if he is sitting on the opposition benches. Moreover, even if PPP try to take away Punjab govt, let them do it. PML(N) should not shake hand with PML(Q) at any cost. It will be contradictory his choice.

I don’t mind Zardari being as a president provided he restore pre Nov 3 judiciary with all its powers along with Iftikhar Chudary.

Lawyers’ movement, which suffered from the most harmful blow due to Aitezaz Ahsen solo flight., may emerged again. Perhaps change of its leadership is the medicine badly needed so that unity among lawyers can be restored. I see it as a real possibility.

Finally, I have a feeling that this year too will be like the last year. A new crises after each crises with very little rest in between. In the end there will be new elections. This picture is certainly avoidable, but all depends on Zardari. He should realize that credibility is the key to leadership. He needs to restore it too which is not that hard. Just restore the pre Nov 3 judiciary along with CJ.

nusrat seems so dejected today. it appears that he hasnot any excuses to defend zardari today. i am watching media very keenly since 9/3/08 and i can clearly see that there are various people who have clear agenda and they very biased towards their bosses ( like imtiaz alam, nazir naaji, hasan nisaar)

unfortunately many media anchors seems very biased too… like nusrat javed who is always there to defend PPPP for whatever they do wrong… for instance, nusrat agressively (and rightly so) criticised mush for not fullfilling his promises he made with the nation (for instance remained in two offices despite promised with the nation to leave one office on a certain date in 2005 i think). he did the right thing by then and we all supported and appreciated their role in that.

however, Zardari being a pack of lies, full of blunders is not crticised by nusrat once…. in fact he is still finding some other reasons to defend him. this is not justifying in my eyes…

watch today’s live with talat and see how mr gabol of PPPP blatantly lied and talat did not show the courage to ask stop lying to the naiton… it was very frustrating for me that these anchors have definitely some agenda… i cannot beleive that this is a part of positive jouranlism to allow people to lie infront of the whole nation…

also its horrible to see our journalists (so called educated poeple) during the press conferences. the way they yell, the way they all start asking questions is so very “jungleee” and really pisses me off… honestly, its exactly shows as a whole of pakistan.

i beleive soon we need reforms in our media too… we definitely need some rules and regulations for media too. and those press conferences should be a little bit organised. can they not use a queueing system for asking questions? is it so hard … i really wanna know ur feedback guys

As far as lawyers’ movement is concerned, it is facing a serious crises which can be termed as trust deficit. At present, a large majority of lawyers have serious reservations on Aitezaz Ahsen’s role. The division is so widespread that Ali Ahmed Kurd is on hibernation.

The true medicine is now a new leadership. I don’t know when SCBA election would held. Perhaps we need to wait. In my opinion, Aitezaz Ahsen can restore his credibility again by leaving PPP. He is in a sense losing his good name he had made during last year. Giving a deadline and then taking it back, again givibg a new deadline and taking it back shows weakness in his leadership.

Moreover, young lawyers are demoralized. Is he working along with others to restore their moral? If not, it is too serious a charge on his leadership.

you are right but there is one point which nobody looked at. For the sake of argument lets suppose NJ was right and there was a
third non-political party involved whether it be establishment or america aur saudis. May i ask if they were so influential then how in the world they let Asif Bhutto Zardari and Nawaz Shareef sign that agreement. Come on guys it doesnot make any sense. How can they let them have a agreement like that if they were not going to let them fulfill it.If somebody can make me understand

Secondly what i noticed was neither mushtaq nor nusrat appreciated the fact that NS contacted Atta-ullah Mangal for presidential election on the other hand i didnt understood what NJ was trying to proove when he asked Att-ullah Mangal that “Sardar sahab if Asif Zardari sahab aap say Sadar bunnanay kay liya kehtay to kuya aap qabool ker laitay”. Man what was that.

Also what bulls!t is this that Asif Bhutto Zardari will restore judges after becomming president. If he would have been that serious then why 8 deposed judges from sindh and seven from lahore HC are taking fresh oath asked by his govt.

Nawaz has not left because of judges issue but because he doesn’t have courage to face the real ugly and almost impossible to solve crises that military govt left us with.
He thinks he is the most popular and should get in to power all in all, he does not exist politically in three provinces of Pakistan.
Sardar Mengal hit the target when he said to Nawaz ” you are accommodating the third party (army) with your actions. If Nawaz league and Sharif brothers have courage then they should target the real culprits the Generals who second the orders of Gen Musharaf in Nov 2007 as well as Oct 1999.
They shouldn’t be playing in the hands of people like ex service men where majority of leaders are Marshal law administrators, also not to listen to people like Jamat e islami and Imran khan who were always better of when there is military rule.

When Imran supported Musharaf (in uniform and at his best) during the most ridicules ref random , what the hell he did? supported democracy?
What political party does he have? what political struggle he has? other then appearing in every TV shows without realizing who are the participants. he has been seen fighting in TV shows with Babar Awan ( who at least have central position in his party) to provincial level leaders. where is his political party?
he visited u.s and Canada, where they arranged diners with him, the entry tickets were $ 200.

The entry tickets for $200 because he is not a jack-ass like your leader zardari to spend them on buying ferrari’s and BMW… He uses this money to spend on constructive organizations.

On the other hand i do agree with you that he needs to build his party and play a more constructive role as a leader…
