Nice opening and closure by J awaid Chouhdry. Hanif Abbasi was bold which is good. Piplayae have no shame that even q legue is grilling them.

Hanif Abbasi backtracks some times thats not a good thing for any politicians immage. He makes a strong statement and then sometimes backtracks.

He said we don’t need to go to America, and rightly so but then he took a gentler position that their should be party concensus on policy first.

I believe we should tell america to F off and fight its own war on its own. Only when we send this very clear message and mean it too will the disturbance in FATA settle. We can then negotiate with the local tribes to agree that they will not accommodate foriegn ‘guests’. They in tern will communicate this to the tribes accross border and that is all.

PPPP will never call all party conference and even if it does and even if it agrees to a common policy, will Zardari stick to his word?

When the ellection result came, the situation in FATA was quiet for a few months. Had PPPP restored the judiciary, had PPPP impeached and hanged Moshe, had PPPP held Dakus of Gujrat accountable this would have sent a very strong message to the armed groups of FATA. I bet if all this had happened they would have thrown in the towel without any negotiations but PPP has betrayed every one but Bush and hence lost the chance to establish peace in Pakistan.

So in conclusion, there was no need for H Abbasi to retract, get the f out to America, treat the tribal communities as loyal Pakistanis and not like we treated the Bengalis and we will be able to negotiate with then on our terms.

Dear Fahmeedah, at least your heart is in the right place. I have to ask you that if these journalists became politicians then who would be the journalist and what is the likely hood that they in turn would not be corrupted by power? The journalists are doing a good job and if they keep doing a good job and if we the audience keep a watchfull eye for the hidden agendas of different media groups the politicians will fall in line.

I hope that more and more Pakistanis vote for the right candidates rather than boycotting the ellections as you have suggested because thats how we will change Pakistan.

Its not fair that you dont make any distinction between the three politicians and their parties because it would not be unfair to say that PMLN has won the majority of the voters with its principled politics, a gust of fresh air in Pakistan.

If revolution comes with an ideology like in China (mao’s ) or like in Cuba (castro’s) then it will sustain and will bring good for nation.
If you believe Talibans are revolutionary, they could bring in just civil war and blood shed.
Revolutions are positive and progressive force that takes nations to development even Iranian revolution was well thought out and progressive as it replaced a dictatorship.

Tariq Chaudhry can read some nice sayings and important conversations from history and islamic literature and transfer to the viewers …. why not our political leaders get knowledge from these kind of sayings. I respect Javed Chaudhry because he always comes with some thing really good.

Every individual tv anchor have his/her own class and we as a viewers can agree and disagree with that person, but it does not look nice to say some thing really bad which heart that anchor. Yes it is true, his style and way of talking is like PAINDUH but he is as good as Talat Hussain, Hamid Mir,Naseem Zohra, Nusrat Javed, Mushtaq Minhas, Iftikhar Ahmed and Kashif Abbasi.
