Before joining Bolta Pakistan, Nusrat Javed was a mediocre journalist at best. Whatever respect he gained through this, he has lost it all.

He is so stupid that he doesnt even know a difference between treating a waitress and VP nominee in American culture. Its not an issue of religion; in diplomatic talks you never ever utter such irresponsible or stupid words.

He is no more than Zaradari’s tout.

Nusrat Javed is the most respected journalist in Pakistan since a long long time , in 1985 he was considered as the best Parliamentary proceeding reporter, one thing I find great about him is that not only he has the academic knowledge of journalism (which very few of Pakistani journalists can claim to have) , he has also a great commitment towards democracy and democratic principles. He has been an icon for every student journalism for the past 20+ years.
It is always good to see him getting annoyed and negating the rubbish arguments with passion.
Keep up the great work NJ, the electronic media must make a difference in lives of masses of Pakistan and you are making that difference.

Our leaders are “bay aamal” “naa aaqbad undesh” “naala aik” “zaati mafaad parasht”
“hawaish kay ghulam” “anaa parasht” “soda ghaar” “kom say laa-taluk” “apneh zaati mafaad kay liyeh maa ko bi bayche day aur swiss bank may jamah kerdien” and so on, listless qualities of our leaders.

“Nusrat Javed is the most respected journalist in Pakistan since a long long time….”

Yes, he is as respected as the likes of Ahmed Rashid, Najam Sethi, Nazir Naji etc. The mentioned are not bad journalists (writing skills) either, but what is really bad and disgusting about them is their dishonesty (distorting the facts and doing a spin doctors job for their masters) and their desire to work for anti-Pakistan elements.

You know what I am trying to do an exercise which is sort of categorization of commentators on pkpolitics , and one of the category has following characterstics.
    1. Use of words like anti-Pakistan , raw agents etc.
    2. They always think they are in majority most of the time they even know that they 80% or 90%. You will find for example that they claim 80% of the don’t want AZ to be president etc…

Well you fall into that category :) BTW what you need is a crash course in logic :)

However I liked Ahmed Rashid and NJ being equated with Nazir Naji :) I though don’t wish one day NJ becomes speech writer of NS because then NS will not be in Sarwar Palace instead (God forbid) in a graveyard in Larkana (sorry Lahore).

Guys Nusrat Javaid no doubts he’s rich and ample exprience of Journalism but he’s by nature hypocrate and may know from all angles how to make hay while the sunshine!

If the things are going bad in Pakistan and a journalist is supporting the policies, there will be real concerns about his credibility.

Regarding 80% , 90% issue. i believe it also relates to the condition of people, if 80-90% people are suffering from the current policies, ofcourse they will reteliate.

You can find out yourself, the condition of what percentage of people has improved since PPP took over. or even stayed at the same level.

Let us try to get away from either condemning personalities or be-rating them- instead let us look at the dynamics of the situation as very rightly poiunted out by Adnan Rashid Mansoori-

There is a big change in teh tactics and strategy of the militants in this game that is being played on the NWFP and it’s borders.
They have figured out that to deefat the West in Afghanistan they cannot beat them in battles since they( Militants) do not have air power- so the best way is to strangle their supply lines which come all the way from Karachi through the Khyber and Bolan passes.
They will do that by local attacks in the FATA areas but also anywhere from Karachi onwards to the North West.
They will also go for those that are instrumental in the logistics of the fuel and food supply chain for the Western forces in Afghanistan .

As I had pointed out - this is a SEA change in their thinking and this means more trouble in Pakistan since there are a lot of people in Pakistan who are getting very rich by doing this busienss for the Armies of the West .

If you think it is difficult for the Army of Pakistan to control the 2500 kilometers of the Durand Line- well just think how difficult it will be to Police the entire GT road from Karachi to Khyber.

And this might be the Achilles heel of the Western Forces in Afghanistan.

Get ready for a BUMPY Ride and you would like to think that Zardari and Co have thought about this problem- don’t count on it- they are busy trying to appear cooperative to the West to get investments into the country.

Words from a “man” known to support inheritance in politics and also known for his strong support for a President under the protection of the NRO agreement. An agreement between a military dictator and a civilian dictator. At best it can be termed as a jiyala “logic” ;-)

this nusrat javed is an idiot bloody amreekan agent zardari’s bitch.the kind of crap language he used today, he shouldn’t even be allowed to come on tv.nobody knew him before this program.small time journalists become too big for their boots. he looked like a dubious character form day one but today he has proven he’s bikao maal. also, what was that rant about I flirt with waitresses(all the jahil desis start acting cheap when they step on western soil.true hypocrites.). in the west, nobody behaves like that unless he’s a mental defective. what zardari did is an extremely cheap and humiliating act. and it was totally unislamic .I wonder how can any muslim defend this behavior unless he’s ashamed and confused about his identitiy.nusrta bhawed he’s a bloody sellout but unlike shahid masood(who’s atleast an intellectual) this guy is not worth more than two pennies.

Worth watching last few minutes , I was loving it how NJ talked about mad dictator Zia and MM said he was a dictator but in his (Zia’s) era law and order situation was good :) , this is the paradox for many people including @mbokhari :) Isn’t it?

What is the difference between AZ and Musharraf , can AZ not be like Zia , but then Zia was at least a “true” muslim :) …. If AZ is worse than Musharraf than why we fought Musharraf , but no Musharraf was dictator , this is democracy we are condemning AZ because it is democracy , but he is worse than Musharraf , aah… but Zia was dictator but than he was true muslim… But you see AZ is corrupt , he is in fact the most corrupt person in the history … at least Musharraf was less corrupt than AZ , but Musharraf was dictator … Ok let us than agree that AZ is just a replacement of Musharraf , he is sold to America , he is doing exactly what America wants him to do, on top of that he is corrupt too , therefore we should hate AZ more than Musharraf…. PARADOX SOLVED

I loved the last words of NJ ,

“Mera iman buhat kamzoor hai..Hoo sakta hay marnay say pehlay hidayat mil jaye”

    And finally the best was…

Yahoodi saazish bhee tu buhat kartay hain…

NJ keep it up … I just love to hear you..

Another interesting point in this episode was when MM talked about 30% vote of the PPP and 70% people being against it. I could see the smile on NJ’s face when MM was ranting about this. Today NJ controlled himself as perhaps there were too many e-mails about yesterday’s outburst. He was more sarcastic than offensive.
However this point about 30% vote deserves some outburst from NJ.

NJ please don’t be bullied by the harsh emails , it is very important that your voice reaches to the youth of this country , we don’t want to loose another generation struggling to decide if AZ is worse than Musharraf/Zia ? Or deciding if Zia was a better muslim than Bhutto. Electronic media would bring the next generation that won’t have to answer “AZ is establishment’s agent” , “Nawaz Sharif was spiritual son of Zia ” , “Bhutto used to call Ayub daddy” , we need a generation that knows the difference between the power of gun and power of people, and understand that democracy means “one amongst us” to rule the country , and “NO MORE KNOW-ALLS”.

I dont have any problem with liberalism. Zardari is legitimite leader of this nation. But what is wrong with critique.Peole larn from mistakes.

I HAVE no problem with zardari hugging palin. But the problem is with reply from nusrat javed, which was below the belt and had no comparison.
I think both hosts have equal rights on the show. NJ not giv ethis non sense was absurd. What do you think about abrupt cut off call from tayyaba zamir, when she was trying to tell american medias response.

Having said that, MINHAS supporting zia ul haq and taleban is real non sense.

PROBLEM LIES WHEN THEU START TALKING NON SENSE.

Best example is talat hussain. Don t take any sides , be objective. Look how he ripped apart zafar jhagra of pmln.

Mr. Minhas & Mr. Nusrat are good anchors and a great patriotic Pakistani. I relay like them.

I have something to say and have some questions, which I want to ask from my all-Pakistani fellows.

1-Why not we try to look & search for a true leader around us, who lead us?
(Todays political parties are not included like, ALL PPPs- All PMLs- MQMs- ANPs- Mulas- and others)

2-Why not we come out on the roads to save our innocent, alone and wounded Pakistan?

3-Pakistan wants sacrifice at least our whole generation for the bright feature & peace of all coming generations of Pakistan, are we able & ready to do sacrifice? Or we leave this for our feature comming generations, like our elders leave for us.

4-Are we ready for justice, commandment, voluntary hard work, simplicity, hunger, fight and die for Pakistan?

5-Is there any Mao Zedong (China Leader), in Pakistan?
My heart is full of sadness and my brain is boiling with pain, when I think about my mother Pakistan. BUT I want to attribute

Earlier I mentioned NJ sarcasm in the following sentence

Aik tu yahoodi (jews) saazish buhat kartay hain…

I could truly appreciate the meaning of this statement. It is a common (mis)understanding in the certain segment (of course the establishment as the major contributor to this segment) of the society to present Pakistan as if the whole world is after her. All the Jews , Americans , Christians, Hindus, Zionist, Neocons, Satans of the world are after Pakistan. They start with explaining the “IMPORTANCE” of Pakistan geographically and socio-politically, talk about warm waters, proximity with China and so on… then they talk about how Pakistan is only country created on the basis of ideology (only other country is Israel which is created on the basis on ideology) , then they talk about the nuclear capability and so on and so on…. The crux of the argument in the end is that the whole world is after Pakistan they want to destroy Pakistan, India wants to annex it… and such non-sense.
I believe Aitzaz Ahsan wrote the book Indus Saga , busting the myth of country created on ideology and traced the roots of the muslim geographical region from the history to 1940 resolution of Pakistan.
In my opinion Pakistan is one of the 200+ countries in the world , every country in the world has its own significance and importance both geographically and socio-politically. Pakistan remains in the eyes of storm for all the wrong reason created by its own establishment. Just like so many other countries Pakistan can also exist as a peaceful, progressive country on the map of the world if it is allowed to do so. However our establishment does not want such thing to happen, as they need a “National Security State” which ensures their hegemony and control over the resources of Pakistan.
It is very important that we don’t loose sight of the real enemy and don’t forget about the real struggle , the struggle is for transforming a “National Security State” to a “Public Welfare State” , and the real enemy is not the “world”, Neocons, Americans, Jews , Indians, Christians, and all of the satanic forces in the world , but it is the establishment of Pakistan that needs our blood to keep surviving…….. Remember “The Martix” , where the machines need humans to turn them into a battery to get the power to keep themselves running. The blood-sucking establishment needs the humans of Pakistan along with their resources to keep themselves feeding……..
