    Thanks to Jawab Deh/Iftikhar for conducting this program. This was the crucial matter always neglected by the contemporary talk shows.

    Tahir:

    If you want to hear stupid Ram Kahani of Political hypocrites then you are welcome but we applaud and commend Ifthekhar for aligning their views as well as digging the truth out of their back sides.

    What Zardar Daku said on this matter whilst his meeting with Manmohan.. Any laloo Jyala/Matwala quote a single statement. Or if Mohtarma Shaheedddddddddd Nishan-e-Haider uttered on this topic (Bagiar Dam)… Nothing and how can these Dakus and Lutoors say anything when they have their stake in these matters.

    We’ll bring change very soon, Inshallah.

    @Ya.Allah.Khair

    Zain Hamid & Truth? Sorry but there are so many half-truths and twisting of facts here that the sum total of this is total bull. Is this passing for truth these days? If you believe this, it only proves you are being intellectually lazy…

    For example:
    Regarding the Baloch Sardars selling it to British
    The region remained on the sidelines of history for a millennium, until the Arab-Muslim army of Muhammad bin Qasim captured the town of Gwadar in 711 CE and over the intervening (and nearly equivalent) amount of time the area was contested by various powers, including the Mughals (from the east) and the Safavids (from the west). The Portuguese captured, sacked and burnt Gwadar in 1581, and this was then followed by almost two centuries of local rule by the various Balochi tribes. The city was visited by Ottoman Admiral Sidi Ali Reis in 1550s and mentioned in his book Mirat ul Memalik (The Mirror of Countries), 1557 CE . According to Sidi Ali Reis, the inhabitants of Gwadar were Baloch and their chief was Malik Jelaleddin, son of Malik Dinar. In 1783, the Khan of Kalat granted suzerainty over Gwadar to Taimur Sultan, the defeated ruler of Muscat. When the Sultan subsequently retook Muscat, he was to continue his rule in Gwadar by appointing a Wali (or “governor”). This Wali was then ordered to subjugate the nearby coastal town of Chah Bahar (in modern-day Iran). The Gwadari fort was built during Omani rule, whilst telegraph lines were later extended into the town courtesy of the British.

    This is but one account. But all those I found, NONE say it was sold to the British by Baloch sardars as Ziad Hamid claims. When British did set up base there, they did it with the permission of the Sultan of Oman. And why no protest by Zaid about the land grabbers who have taken over Gwadar?

    He also mentions Riko Dik and blames Baloch for not protesting. Now that is a bold-faced lie. Baloch are protesting every day about selling of their resources. And don’t you find it funny Zaid has no complaints against those dong the actual selling(Government of Pakistan). In fact he supports them fully. And why just mention Riko Dik? Why not a word of contempt for the sellers of PTCL/KESC/OGDC/UBL/Habib Bank/Steel Mill/etc.?
