the problem with ‘us’ pakistanis is this:

    ‘Allah behtar karay ga’

we take the islamic message of patience in a very wrong way.

we’re like the guy who doesn’t seek earning+food because he thinks ‘rizq’ is in the hands of Allah, and that he’ll get what he’s destined for without doing any effort.

if Islam works as a source of extremism for some, it works as dope for the rest of us.

in fact picking up a gun is exactly what we need. the only 2 problems with taliban are:
    - they target innocent men, women and children instead of the leading idiots of the country
    - they think shariah is the solution to all problems

i take this opportunity to axpress my feelings with other viewers my dear friends wts happening in our country is the failiour of the foriegn policy finnacial management infact failior in all aspects of the government oragaization by ex dictator government and short cut aziz governmnet
basically we all saying and condemns the act of 9/11 in usa which change the world 180 degree my friends that was the self created and according to the plan of government of bush because thats why 10000 israeils were absent on that day from world trade cente for intelligent people this evidence is enough to understand that act and the plans after 9/11
the biggest problem is this that general p musharraf was unable to understand the logic of that plan and he was totally failed to respond accurately that tactfully usa planed actions and as he was the dictator having no roots in the local people he was forced to do wt usa wants and expect from him and just bc of his polices today we r in cold water and nation is suffering and there is no way out
now i must say wt we really really wants to do right now
in this phase of pain and blood from which our nation is suffering we must understand some of the facts becuse these facts must be in every bodys mind in this time where country needs a true and sincere leadership
1 zardari hijack pakistan peoples party
2 zardari is a corrupt person by nature his nature is corrupt and play boy as the evidence is there with his meeting with sara the candidate for usa vice presidentship
3 how to getrid of zardari
4 the most important thing which need to be understand is that ZARDARI IS RESPONSIBLE AND AT BACK FOR MURDERING BENAZIR BHUTTO
As we all know that dictatorship is not the proper or right option to remove a corrupt leader like zardari in any sense and we r already paying the price of p musharraf dictatorship so how now we get rid of this play boy zardari, sherrey rahman and rahman malik
the only option or i must say now this is a half option is that to reenforce cj iftikhar m chaoudary by any means so that he may remove that reconcilation order and put this play boy behind bars the place which he deserves and elections so that any party may b ppp again can come in the power and make any strategey to help the country out of this game planned bu usa otherwise it the reasults will not much different from 1971
but at the end i must say that i m sure that pakistan will survive inshallah because there r lakhs of muslims blood envolved in his creation and inshaallah allah helps

There seems to be some sense in this forum. My question however is, whose shariat meaning whose interpretation of shariat. We cann’t bring in shariat unless we as a nation and a country agree on one form of shariat or something which is agreed by all the sects in the country and that is for obvious reason not gonna happen as every so called religious organization or party have their own axe to grind. This my friends was a bit of negative part now towards the positive. The way out is education education and education both boys and girls no discrimination in this. Only then we can develop understanding in the people and give them the power to choose or otherwise. The way we can do this is either by educating one person on our own or by giving donations to charities who are running schools. Moreover, I am of the view that the fate of Pakistan will be decided in our life time.

    @TK,

2 words “sunni” and “shia” were put in moderation as riots started between members of these faiths last month. These are now manually moderated.

Other than this there is no restriction on any kind of religious discussion, unless someone copy paste long articles from other sites.

Tunnel farming to be launched in Punjab

    Saturday, October 04, 2008

THE Punjab government would launch tunnel farming in order to introduce technology needed to grow off-season vegetables. The Punjab government will hand over 4,600 high and shallow tunnels to farmers of the province at a cost of Rs 550 million. An official of the Agriculture Department, Punjab, said that arrangements to launch the scheme were complete and it would be launched soon. The government will launch the scheme through an advertisement. Forms to apply for tunnels will be available with district agriculture officers, he said.

He said the total duration of the project was two years and it aimed to promote tunnel technology used to grow off-season vegetables. Farmers who have less than 12.5 acres of land would be given 2,300 high and 2,300 shallow tunnels. In the first year, 2,000 tunnels would be given to farmers while in the second year, 1,300 tunnels would be given to intending candidates.

Farmers will bear 50 per cent cost of tunnels and the government would bear rest of the cost. He said an applicant should be a vegetable grower owning less than 12.5 acres of land. Growers will install the tunnels themselves and later a representative of the Punjab government will inspect the site and release 50 per cent amount to growers, he added. High tunnels are used to grow vegetables such as capsicum, red chillies, cucumber, tomato etc and shallow tunnels are used to grow melon etc.

PPP had badly failed to show even the intentions to change the scheme of things set by dictator Musharraf….
it was a hope before PPP Govt came in that we will get the house ,back in order…once a civilian set up will take place….
    but it never happened…
it seems that US the Uncle Sam has changed his slaves ….and had hired civilian faces as replacement of Mush…as supporting a dictator was giving a bad name to US also.
it also seems the part of the deal between BB and Mush and US that PPP wont try to change the policies initited by Mush …
thats why PPP is least bothered about anything….
important governance mile stones of PPP Govt are….
1.making Hamid Karzai ,the another US stooge ,to sit right next to President Zardari.to give a message that We the new Govt,is actually following the previous Govt when it comes to policy on war on terror.
2.shifting Iftar Dinner from Marriot to PM house to safe precious lives of so called leaders and put on stake 60 lives…
3.declearing Bush a symbol of peace.
4.first Presidentail visit to US …
5.make an offer to hug the pretty candidate of vice president of US.

I will say that the million of dollars aid coming from Saudi Arabia and other countries must reach to the earthquake effected poors in Balochistan. Please keep an eye on President Zardari. I am worried that the President who has promised to help them but always forget his promises(he is dementia patient: bholne ki beemari) will not give a penny to them. Please keep an eye

I want to convey my complaint to Khadim-e-Aalaa Punjab, abt Secretary IT, Mr. Shamail Ahmad Khawaja who is also having additional charge of Chairman Punjab Information Technology Board.

Dear CM, since this person has taken charge of the Information Technology Board, almost 18 of senior officers have resigned and left the job, including General Managers , Project Director & many managers, only because of his humiliating attitude towards these senior people who are highly qualified and are asset for this nation. But dear CM, you can appreciate, there can be no output when there is no peace of mind, no respect for work and no dignity to one’s self.

PITB was formed as autonomous body, with pay are perks competitive to the market, to attract the talented and skilled professionals.

Dear MR. CM, if you see & compare the performance of PITB with the IT dept headed by Mr. Khawaja, you can very well judge how compitent and capable he is. How many projects they had and what kind of work they are doing compared to PITB.

Its actually people like him, who give reasons for downfall and ill repute of any govt. I think they are themself Non progressive and have some complex in their mind.

I would also want to say that is there any criteria to check the performance of such people or whomsoever is in good books of cheif secretary is qualified to hold a better post.

There must be some profiling abt such officers, some kind of feedback from their co-workers, about their attitude and behaviour and competence.

Running a department is very easy, as compared to running a hi tech organization like PITB.

I request you to personally probe into the matter and you can confirm all the facts.

Such people must be sent on some posts, where they have least public interaction and least nuisance value.

His personal repute can be asked from any of his colleague who is in secretariat , IT dept, finance dept or any other dept. You need not to go far.

Its my humble request, that he must be immediately removed from the post, and there should be a way that all the qualified and technical persons, who have left / resigned because of his nonsense attitude, should be brought back to the board, so that they can efficiently serve the people of pakistan.
