It is really unfortunate that Strong Pakistani Media who had been very vocal against General Musharraf, against all political parties, against religious leaders like Fazlur Rehman & Tahir ul Qadri and against terrorism of Militants of Tribal area, but has been criminally silent against terrorism of MQM (Muttahida Qaumi Movement).
This equally applies to current government who always tried to justify the actions in FATA and NWFP in the name of Establishing Writ of Government but when it comes to writ of Government in Karachi and Hyderabad, they forget writ of Government. Is it because their masters (USA) have not instructed them to act against terrorism by their own agents working on an agenda of terrorism in urban Sindh??
ARY and GEO always had been giving coverage to MQM from non-stop irritating speeches of Altaf Bhai to activites of sector incharges of MQM. Even they covered Altaf statemetns inciting violence and asking people of the city to buy Arms. But no one in this Brave Media could raise a single question on this act of terrorism just because fashion of the day is only to highlight terrorism activites in Tribal area.
This selective bravery and habit of speaking selective truth is not a positive sign for our media who is representing a symbol of Hope for Pakistani Nation.
On 17th November, Geo and ARY TV Channels tranmissions were blocked in Karachi, Hyderabad and some other urban parts of Sindh. Till now no one from Government or Media circles has openly pointed to the terrorists involved in this shameful act. This includes Geo and ARY where they hinted involvement of a political party of Karachi but could not have guts to name the culprit.
But credit goes to Daily Jinnah Editor Khushnood Ali Khan who discussed this issue very openly revealing the reasons behind this terrorism. Khushnood Ali Khan Says:
“Ataf Hussain had an event in London to celebrate the landmark victory of Mustafa Kamal to be delared world 2nd Best Mayor. Geo and ARY did not broadcast this event Live as per the desire of MQM Leadership that made them furious. Farooq Sattar, then ordered blocking these channels through cable operators. On contact by Chairman PEMRA Malik Mushtaq, Farooq Sattar replied that if they will not show speech of Altaf Bhai, then how (dare) they can run their channels”.
What this all be called other than an act of Terrorism and a clear challenge to writ of government.

I am totally agreed with you. This website is biased towards Sindh Urban specially Karachi. For God sake leave us, we are happy. We know better than you what is good for us and what is bad. Though i am not a big fan of MQM at all and have some serious concerns in some issues but for Sindh Urban: they are the best what i think. I was born in Hyderabad and raised in Karachi. I know the reality of Racism. As for as MQM is concerned, my and my family votes are always with MQM if they continue same performance.

Court of Canada ruled he belonged to an organization [Muttahida Quami
Movement (MQM) led by London, UK-based Criminal Terrorist Altaf

of Montreal, on the grounds he is a member of the Muttahida Quami

another terrorist party based in Pakistan. Criminal Terrorist Shaukat

Afghanistan, is the President of both the MQM Mafia and the PML-Q
Mafia].
It is the second time this year Canadian courts have ruled the MQM
party meets the legal definition of a terrorist organization.
Mr. Omer is one of dozens of Pakistanis whom Canadian immigration
authorities are trying to deport because of their involvement in the
MQM.
Despite being blamed for the kidnapping, torture and murder of its
political rivals in Pakistan, the MQM has opened a Canadian branch
called MQM-Canada.
Members of the group have worked on Conservative election campaigns,
met [Canadian] Prime Minister Stephen Harper and recently hosted a
[MQM] conference in Calgary [Canada].
Conservative MP Art Hanger spoke at the June 8-10 MQM-Canada
convention, which was attended by several Pakistanis who are being
deported for their alleged involvement in terrorism. Mr. Hanger said
he did not support the [MQM] group. Conservative MLA Shiraz Shariff
also attended. He said yesterday he was unaware Canadian courts had
deemed the MQM a terrorist organization. “Why are we as a nation then
allowing them to have a congregation here?” he said.
Among the speakers at the convention was Mr. Omer, who presented a
report on the “achievements and future strategy” of the Montreal
office of MQM, according to the [MQM] group’s Web Site.
Mr. Omer has no immigration status in Canada. A Canada Border Services
Agency spokesman, Erik Paradis, said the court ruling means that the
deportation order against Mr. Omer is now in effect.
The MQM is a Pakistani political party that is part of
[unconstitutional, illegal, self-appointed] President Pervez
Musharraf’s ruling coalition. The Canadian MQM branch has never been
accused of illegal activities but in Pakistan the party has been
blamed for widespread violence, most recently in May [2007] when
gunfights between the MQM and anti-government demonstrators left more
than 40 dead.
MQM officials deny any role in attacks and say they are victims of
misinformation spread by Pakistani authorities. Canada’s Security
Intelligence Review Committee has been looking into complaints from
MQM members that immigration authorities have unfairly branded them as
terrorists.
Mr. Omer came to Canada in 1998 and was granted refugee status but in
2005 immigration officials said he could not remain in Canada “because
he knowingly and for a long period of time belonged to an organization
that has engaged in terrorism.”
In Pakistan, Mr. Omer had been a member of the MQM and its student
wing from 1987 to 1998. He denied any involvement with the MQM in
Canada but eventually acknowledged he was in charge of the MQM’s
Quebec office.
The Immigration and Refugee Board said: “Mr. Omer’s reasons for trying
to hide that, in Canada, he is responsible for the Montreal section of
the MQM-Canada lead me to believe that he knew that his party was
committing many violent acts.”
He appealed the decision to the [Canada] Federal Court, arguing that
the MQM is not a terrorist organization and that the violence was
committed by rogue elements in the [MQM] party, but the court was not
convinced.

I lived in Karachi for many years and i know that how many times MQM attacked Jang and Geo.Many visitors of this website are saying that only Imran Khan can fight with MQM.With due opology Imran can fight with MQM only and only in Capital Talk of Hamid Mir.Few years ago Hamid Mir produced the film of Altaf Hussain in Delhi where he spoke against creation of Pakistan.It was a brave act og Geo but next day the channel was blocked and Geo stafeers were threatened.One of my freinds in Geo Asadullah was beaten by MQM in Nazimabad and Asadullah accused Hamid Mir for his sufferings.If Imran Khan is a real hero then he should go to Karachi and at least address a jalsa at Mazar-i-Quaid.I assure him that i will come with 200 boys from Sukhar and join his party.

Very true, you always see coverage for MQM’s regardless of the event, there is always something MQM side which is regularly shown on all most all channels. No one make parodi of Altaf hussain although he is the perfect person to be made parodi of as he acts like an actor in all his speeches. What a shame that a terrorist party like MQM is allowed to do whatever they want to do through privately owned channels. There is a proper compagin going on for last 8 or 9 years that MQM is being projected as the a true political force and i can see part of Sindh being taken away from us in next 5 10 to 15 years.
Well, looking fact-wise, neither 12May2007 was a complete MQM-showdown, niether is the current issue at hand of Geo and other channels’ outage a total Altafi scam. Govt’s backing was painfully obvious back then (with sudden and complete disappearance of law-enforcing agencies), and so it is right now (with the fact that channel-ban was in interior sindh as well).
Historically, MQM was created as an armed party to counter other armed factions back in the 80s. And now, the govts. that come into power want to keep it on same violent track to brutally pull violent stunts which they can not perform in any other city of the country.
Yes, MQM and Altaf are definitely to be blamed for becoming a toy at hands of the Ruler – but the blame goes deeper and higher than that.

There is no doubt that the biggest terrorists in Pakistan are in fact from MQM. In the field of ghundaghardi they have no match and have out classed any other grouping – be it the mullah gangsters or jiyala gangsters. The later mentioned are no match against Altaf’s mercenaries. I call them mercenaries because if the bhatta collection and other shady “business” ends, then the MQM will have very little following. Most of the MQM “political workers” will eave the party and do the business they know best i.e. ghunda ghardi, but this time the “business” will not be done under the disguise as a “political worker”, but as what they are i.e. ghunde.
The media need to get their acts together and show MQM’s true face. It’s not an easy task, but I expect this move from good anchors like Hamid Mir, Talat Hussain, Kashif Abbasi etc. Come on guys show what mettle you are made of. We all know it is an asking task, but we have to take the bull by the horns otherwise it will grow to an even bigger monster we maybe cannot subdue!

ہمیں حیرت ہےکہ اگر اچھا کام ہورہا ہےتو اس کےپرچار کےلیےجھوٹ کا سہارا لینےکی ضرورت کیوں پیش آئی۔ اور جھوٹ بھی ایسا کہ فوراً ہی کھل بھی گیا۔ گزشتہ چند دن سےپورےشہر کراچی میں مبارکباد کےبینر لگےہوئےہیں ہر طرف سےمبارک سلامت کےڈونگرےبرس رہےہیں۔ الطاف حسین لندن میں مصطفی کمال کو چوم کر ان کےاس کارنامےکی داد دےرہےہیں جو سرزد ہی نہیں ہوا۔ اور تو اور وزیراعظم پاکستان فرمارہےہیں کہ میں مصطفی کمال کو ایوان وزیراعظم میں بلا کر مبارکباد دوں گا میں بھی ان کو چوموں گا۔ سابق صدر اور متحدہ کےسب سےبڑےسرپرست جناب پرویز مشرف بھی مبارک دےرہےہیں تو یہ کوئی تعجب کی بات نہیں۔ انہوں نےتو 12مئی 2007ءکو اس وقت بھی متحدہ کو عوامی طاقت کہہ کر مبارکباد دی تھی جب کراچی کی سڑکوں پر لاشیں گرائی جارہی تھیں اور موجودہ وفاقی وزیر اطلاعات شیری رحمان سڑک پر کھڑی چیخ رہی تھیں کہ ان پر بھی گولیاں برسائی گئی ہیں۔
جھوٹ یہ بولا گیا کہ ایک غیر ملکی جریدےفارن پالیسی میگزین نےمصطفی کمال کو دنیا کا دوسرا بہترین میئر قرار دیا ہی۔ اب یہ میگزین مسلسل تردید کیےجارہا ہےکہ ایسا کچھ نہیں ہوا اور اس کےجواب میں مبارکبادی کا شور سماعتوں کو مختل کیےجارہا ہی۔ تازہ ترین مبارکباد مشیر داخلہ رحمن ملک کی ہی۔ کیا یہ لوگ ویب سائیٹ پر جاکر خود تحقیق بھی نہیں کرسکتی؟ اسی کا رونا خود فارن پالیسی میگزین نےرویا ہےکہ سٹی ڈسٹرکٹ گورنمنٹ نےبھی ہم سےتصدیق کیےبغیر اپنی ویب سائٹ پر یہ خبر چلادی اور انگریزی روزنامہ ڈان نےبھی سچ جاننےکا تکلف نہیں کیا۔ ظاہر ہےکہ جب سرکاری خبر ایجنسی اےپی پی کوئی خبر جاری کردےتو مزید تحقیق کی کیا ضرورت ہی۔ اب ہمارےالطاف بھائی کہہ رہےہیں کہ مصطفی کمال کو جلد ہی ایک نمبری قرار دیا جائےگا۔ یقینا جھوٹ کےسہارےان کو اس سےبھی آگےکا درجہ دیا جاسکتا ہی۔ مگر فارن پالیسی میگزین والےہیں کہ جھوٹ کا پردہ چاک کیےدینےپر تلےبیٹھےہیں نہ ہوئےوہ کراچی میں ان سےنمٹ لیا جاتا خود اپنےمنہ سےکہتےکہ مصطفی کمال دنیا کےسب سےبہتر میئرہیں۔
ہمیں افسوس تو اس بات کا بھی ہےکہ فارن پالیسی میگزین نےپوری قوم کو بلواسطہ جاہل قرار دےدیا ہی۔ اس کےترجمان کا کہنا ہےکہ پہلےدیکھ تو لیتےکہ ہم نےکیا لکھا ہی ورنہ ہم سےرابطہ ہی کرلیتی۔فارن پالیسی میگزین کےایڈیٹر کی ای میل چیک کرنےکےذمہ دارمسٹر جوشواکیٹنگ گزشتہ بدھ کو لکھتےہیں کہ صبح ہی صبح دفترآکر یہ دیکھنا بہت بھلا لگتا ہےکہ آج کتنی ای میلز آئی ہیں اور ہم نےجو کچھ شائع کیا ہےاس پر دنیا بھر سےکیا ردعمل آیا ہے۔ ہم نےجب ای میل کھولی تو وہ پاکستان کےقارئین اورصحافیوں کےاستفسارات سےبھری ہوئی تھی سب یہ جاننا چاہ رہےتھےکہ کیا ہم نےمصطفی کمال کو دنیا کا دوسرابہترین میئرقرار دیا ہے؟ اگر ہم نےایسا کچھ کیا ہوتا تو ان سوالات کا جواز بھی تھا۔ ہم نےیہ نہیں کیااور نہ ہی میئرز کی درجہ بندی کرنا ہمارا کام ہی۔مسٹرجوشوا مزید وضاحت کرتےہیں کہ ہم نےدنیا کےچند بڑےشہروں کا تذکرہ کیا تھا اور مصطفی کمال برلن کےکلازویرٹ اورچونگنگ کےوانگ ہونگجوکا نام بطورمئیر آف دی مومنٹ شامل کیا تھا جو اپنےشہروں کو عالمی سطح پر لانےکےلیےنت نئےطریقےاختیار کررہےہیں۔میئرز کی درجہ بندی ہرگز نہیں کی گئی اورنہ ہی ہم نےیہ دعویٰ کیاکہ کوئی میئردوسرےمیئرز سےبہتر ہی۔ اس کےباوجود کراچی سٹی ڈسٹرکٹ گورنمنٹ اپنی ویب سائٹ پر یہ پریس ریلیز جاری کرنےسےباز نہ رہ سکی کہ مصطفی کمال کو دنیا کا دوسرابہترین میئرقرار دیا گیا ہےاور انہیں مبارکبادبھی دی گئی۔فارن پالیسی میگزین کےمسٹر جوشوا کا کہنا ہےکہ ریکارڈ کی درستی کےلیےواضح رہےکہ مذکورہ تین نام کسی خاص ترتیب میں نہیں دیےگئےاورسٹی ڈسٹرکٹ گورنمنٹ نےبھی فارن پالیسی کی طرف سےرابطہ کرنےپر اپنی پریس ریلیز میں تبدیلی کرلی ہی۔
اس کےباوجود شہر میں مبارک باد کےجھنڈےگڑےہوئےہیں اور مبارکباد کےپیغامات کا سلسلہ بھی جاری ہی۔اگر فارن پالیسی میگزین کےحوالےسےجھوٹ ہی بولنا تھا تو اس میں تو مصطفی کمال کا نام سرفہرست ہی انہیں دنیا کا نمبر ون میئرقرار دینےمیں کیا قباحت تھی۔جھوٹ بولو تو پیٹ بھر کربولو۔ یہ بھی تو کردار کا ایک پہلو ہی۔ بقول شاعرظفراقبال:

اس حوالےسےاس عالمی جھوٹ پر قائم لوگ صاحب کردار تو ہیں آپ کچھ بھی کہتےرہی۔
فارن پالیسی میگزین کا شکوہ ہےکہ ہمارےحوالےسےایک غلط خبر کو پاکستان کےریڈیو ٹی وی اوربلاگز پر خوب اُچھالاگیا ہےاور مزید ستم یہ کہ کراچی سٹی کونسل مصطفی کمال کو مبارکباد دینےکی قرار داد منظور کرنےچلی تھی اس اعزاز پر جو ہم نےہرگز نہیں دیا۔کراچی کےایک رپورٹر نےہمیں بتایا ہےکہ شہرسٹی گورنمنٹ کی طرف سےمبارکباد کےبینروں سےپٹا پڑا ہےکہ فارن پالیسی میگزین نےانہیں دنیا کا دوسرابہترین میئر قراردےدیا ہی۔ ہم مصطفی کمال کےجذبات کو مجروح کرنا چاہتےہیں نہ ان کےشہر کی توہین مگر ہم نےکسی بھی طرح ان کی درجہ بندی نہیں کی۔اگر حقائق معلوم کرلیےجاتےتو اس ساری گڑبڑ(Mess)سےبچاجاسکتا تھا۔کوئی فارن پالیسی میگزین کا بلاگ ہی پڑھ لیتا ۔
فارن پالیسی میگزین کی میڈیا اورتعلقات عامہ کی افسررابطہ جیناحسن نےمزید وضاحت کردی کہ مصطفی کمال کو دنیا کا دوسرابہترین میئر نہیں چنا گیا اور جس مضمون میں ان کا مختصرسا ذکر ہی۔ اس کا یہ مقصد تھا بھی نہیں۔فارن پالیسی میگزین میئرز کی درجہ بندی نہیں کرتا۔
اتنی وضاحتوں کےباوجود جھوٹ کےجھکڑ چل رہےہیں اورفریب کی آندھیاں اٹھ رہی ہیں اور اس کا اصل مقصد سابق ناظم نعمت اللہخان کو نیچادکھانا ہےلیکن یہ نہیں بھولنا چاہیےکہ عزت اورذلت خدا کےہاتھ میں ہی۔جھوٹ بولنےسےعزت کہاں ملتی ہےاوراگرملتی بھی ہےتو عارضی ایک غیر ملکی میگزین مذاق اڑارہا ہی۔کراچی کا ہر شہری یہ چاہےگا کہ کراچی کی رونقوں اور عوامی سہولتوں میں اضافہ ہو یہ کام کوئی بھی کری مصطفی کمال اچھا کام کریں گےتو اصل اعزاز عوام ہی دیں گےجو کسی
فارن پالیسی میگزین سےبڑھ کر ہوگا۔ پھر ہماری سمجھ میں نہیں یا کہ جھوٹ کا سہارا لینےکی کیا ضرورت پیش آگئی۔وجہ صرف نعمت اللہخان ہی ہوسکتےہیں جو اب بھی پھانس بن کر چبھ رہےہیں۔دیکھا جائےتو فارن پالیسی میگزین نےدنیا کے60شہروں میں کراچی کو 57ویں نمبرپررکھا ہی۔ اس لحاظ سےاس کا میئر یا ناظم بھی دوسرےپر نہیں57ویں نمبرپرآتا ہے۔
درحقیقت عالمی میئرز کی درجہ بندی کاکام صرف ورلڈ میئر نامی ادارہ کرتا ہےجس نے2005ءمیں ناظم کراچی نعمت اللہخان کو دنیا کے9بہترین میئرز میں شامل کیا تھا اس وضاحت کےساتھ کہ وہ ایسےحالات میں شہرکی بہتری کاکام کررہےہیں جب صوبائی حکومت میں شامل متحدہ ان کی مخالف ہی۔اس کےلیی2002ءسے2005ءتک کےمشیر بلدیات اور متحدہ کےدیگر وزراءکےبیانات اٹھا کر دیکھےجاسکتےہیں۔نعمت اللہخان نےکراچی میں پارک بنائےتومشیربلدیات نےاعلان فرمایا کہ کراچی کو پارک کی نہیں پانی کی ضرورت ہی۔جب سٹی ڈسٹرکٹ گورنمنٹ متحدہ کےپاس آئی تو بہت بڑےبڑےپاک بھی بنائےگئےاورنعمت اللہخان کےبنائےہوئےپارکس پر اپنی تختیاں بھی لگائی گئیں۔ نعمت اللہخان کوتختی والےباباکا لقب دیا گیا مگر اب کوئی جھنڈےوالا بابو یا بینر والا ببوا نہیں کہتا کہ اس دور میں تو بات بات پر شہر میں بینر لگ گئی۔ اس حوالےسےایک دلچسپ بات یاد دلا دیں کہ شروع میںناظم شہر مصطفی کمال کا وژن کےنام سےبینرز لگائےگئےتو سمندرپار سےاستفسار ہوا کہ ہمارےہوتےہوئےکسی اورکاوژن کیا معنیٰ؟ چنانچہ اب یہ بینرز نظر نہیں آتی۔اب ہربینر قائد تحریک سےشروع ہوتا ہی اس حوالےسےبھی ایک اہل کراچی کی یادداشت تازہ کردیں کہ جب آرمی چیف صدر پرویز نےاعلان کیا کہ کالاباغ ڈیم بن کررہےگا تو کراچی میں بینر لگ گئےکہ یہ قائد تحریک کا وژن ہےاور جب متحدہ کی پارٹنرپیپلزپارٹی کی حکومت نےاعلان کیا کہ کالاباغ ڈیم منصوبہ ہمیشہ کےلیےدفن کردیا گیا تو اسےبھی قائد تحریک کی کامیابی قرار دیا گیا۔کسی بادشاہ کےایک درباری نےکہا تھا کہ میں شاہ کا ملازم ہوں بینگن کا ملازم نہیں۔
جناب مصطفی کمال کو دنیا کےمیئرز میں دونمبر کا میئر قرار دینےکی آندھی اٹھی اور جھکڑ چلےتو ایک سینئر کالم نگار جناب حسن نثار نےبھی انہیں خراج تحسین پیش کیا وہ جنگ کےچوراہےپر اپنےکالم اچھی خبر سےبری خبروں تکمیں لکھتےہیںمدت بعد ایک اعزاز نصیب ہوا ہےتو کیوں نہ اسےاپنےقارئین کےساتھ شیئر کرلیا جائی۔مشہورزمانہ فارن پالیسی میگزین نےہمارےکراچی کےناظم مصطفی کمال کو دنیا کا دوسرابہترین میئر قرار دیا گیا ہےجو پورےملک کےلیےفخر کی بات ہی۔ موجودہ حالات میں جب ہر طرف سےاداس اور مایوس کردینےوالی خبروں کی یلغارہی۔ مصطفی کمال کا یہ اعزازلُو میں ٹھنڈی ہوا کےجھونکےسےکم نہیں واقعی ذرانم ہو تو یہ مٹی بڑی زرخیز ہےساقی۔کراچی والوں نےکیریر کےآغاز میں ہی مصطفی کمال کےتیور بھانپ کر اسےمصطفی کدالکہنا شروع کردیا تھا۔ مصطفی کمال شہر کی شیریں کےلیےفرہاد کی طرح جوئےشیر کھینچ لایا تو یہ فرض سےمحبت کی اتنی ہی لازوال کہانی ہےجتنی شیریں فرہاد کی۔ مصطفی کمال نےاپنی اس شاندار کامیابی کو ایم کیو ایم کی تربیت اورقیادت کا کمال قرار دیا ہی۔
کالم نگار کےسامنےجو خبر ہوتی ہےوہ اسی کےحوالےسےلکھتا ہی۔ اس میں حسن نثار کا کوئی قصور نہیں لیکن صحیح خبر سامنےآنےکےبعد وہ کیا لکھیں گی اس کا انتظار رہےگا۔ کاش یہ خبر صحیح ہوتی تو یقین جانیی ہمیں بھی فخر ہوتا کہ ایک پاکستانی نےعالمی اعزاز حاصل کیا۔مگر اب جو بدنامی ہوئی ہےاس میں بھی ہمارا حصہ ہی۔ مصطفی کمال نےبہت صحیح کہا کہ انہوں نےجو حرکت کی ہےوہ ایم کیو ایم کی تربیت اورقیادت کےکمال کا فیض ہی۔بغیر تربیت کےکوئی ایسا کمال کہاں دکھا سکتا ہی لیکن یہ کدال تو اپنےہی پیروں پر نہیں پوری قیادت پر دےماری ہی۔ مگر کیا یہ تنہا انہی کاکارنامہ ہی؟ جناب حسن نثار نےمصطفی کمال کو کراچی کی شیریں کا فرہاد بنا ڈالا فرق صرف اتنا ہےکہ اصلی فرہاد ایک جھوٹ کی وجہ سےنشےسےسرپھوڑ کر مرگیا تھا یہاں الٹ ہوا ہی۔ شیریں تڑپ اٹھی ہی فرہاد ہی کےحوالےسےمرزا غالب کا ایک شعر سن(یاپڑھ) لیجئی:

All bakeries and milk busineess is not under Sindhi but Punjabis alone. So billions of ruppees is traded daily by ordinary people urdu speaking majority and among various ethnic groups.

I doubt, we have very few people having internet, the quality is so poor, the speed is around 6 to 12 kpbs. The cost is around 1000 per month. Mostly medium to get internet at homes is cable. Electricity loadshedding create long hours of internet absence. The so called IT revolution in Pakistan is just a stupid joke. Do we get more than 2Mbps internet for cost of 1500 pkr per month including telephone line connection like in europe these days ? ofcourse no

British Home Secretary’s condemnation of 9th of April Karachi riots & assurance of concrete actions to curb racial incitement and application of the arm of law
Association of Pakistani Lawyers a team of Pakistani origin lawyers, Solicitors, Barristers, Judges in UK jointly condemned in highest terms uncalled for riots of 9th of April which resulted in burnings of lawyers alive in their chambers to sabotage the newly installed Govt, deteriorating the law an order situation thus creating unrest and fear in the city in Pakistan.
APL noted with great concern the role of exiled fire brands who are inciting racial hatred abroad which results in killing of innocent human beings. APL raised this issue with British Govt on 17 May 2007 and once again raised this issue with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown & Home Secretary Jacqui Smith on 11 April 2008 which a question that Britain may be under a retaliatory threat to its public order due to unlawful events developing on and after 12th May 2007 in Karachi which were repeated on 9th April 2008 which virtually held the city in a siege for 6 hours and the city observed the worst lawlessness which did not spare media personnel too and any possible links of uk in this.
Responding on behalf of British Govt Juliet McCarmmon wrote to APL Secretary condemning such acts and assuring the UK lawyers of the available protection and remedies available under existing legislation. She said
She wrote as following,
“Thank you for your letter of 11 April 2008 addressed to the Home Secretary about incitement to racial hatred in Karachi on 9April 2008, which you allege is by people in London. I have been asked to reply. The Government abhors all forms of violence and deplores the atrocities that occurred in the riots in Karachi on 9 April 2008.Where a crime has been committed or if there is an allegation of crime, a complaint must be made to the local police. It’s the police’s duty to investigate. If they do and identify evidence against one or more suspects, they must notify the Crown Prosecution Service. The CPS will then consider whether a prosecution is needed in the public interest. You say at Paragraph 3 of your letter that a particular individual is suspected of being to blame for the riots. If you have any evidence that this person, encouraged the riots that took place in Karachi you should report the matter to the police who will take the appropriate measures to deal with the matter. We have introduced a number of offences for tackling race and religious related hate crimes. For example, nine racially-aggravated offences were introduced in the Crime and Disorder Act 1998, which included assaults, criminal damage and harassment, which make available to the courts higher maximum penalties where this is evidence of racist motivation or racial hostility in connection with offence. The Act also requires a judge or magistrate dealing with any offence that is racially aggravated to state in open court that they have found it to be aggravated, and meriting an increased sentence. The offences also give a higher profile to the racial elements in crimes by requiring the police to look for evidence at the earliest possible opportunity, and by ensuring that the racial element of a crime goes before the jury. APL spokesman hoped that their representations are given due weight in the public interest in order to avoid and check before hand any unrest and criminal activity taking place any where in the world which has links to London and may have the potential to result in mass killings.

MQM’s is always busy in marketing/spreading lies, hypes, violence and hates. This thing is not an exception and it is not a surprise. Mustafa Kamal has always come across as a ‘Sales Man’. He spends more hours of the day giving interviews to print and electronic media than doing actual development work. At same Altaf Bhai will be delivering telephonic lectures on War on Terror and Talibanization. Karachi (1/10th of Pakistan) is under MQM’s siege (bunch of Idiots) and with the level of support MQM enjoys from Establishment goons any one can make marvels. Mustafa Kamal simply bulldozes any opposition and is a self indulging idiot who claims to ‘know-it-all’. Lately he has been busy spreading hate against poor Pashtun migrant workers in order to bambofying Pathans from every corner of Land of Pure Cartels from Tribal Areas to Karachi for pleasing his Masters in UK/US. Claiming that poor Pathan workers (mostly watch mans, taxi drivers etc) have a Master Plan to take over Karachi. As if Karachi (once a small Sindhi town i.e. Mai Kulachi, Lyari ) has not been taken over by outsiders/aliens already? He issue ethnic statements in USA about Karachi. If such statement would have been given by anyone else he would be declared Bugti and tried in this Land of Pure Cartels for challenging the writ of state and treason. Since 1947, Karachi a city of Sindh has gradually become Sindhi-less city, if compared with Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta.
Karachi has almost equal composition of all major ethnic group of Pakistan. Urdu, Punjabi, Pathan, Baluch, Sindhi each ethnics group has almost more than 2 million souls. However cultural, political, business and economically dominating class in Karachi are only those who are aliens, settled, migrated from other areas particularly Gujrat/India. The resistance against Gawader project from Baluch ethnic group is also based on fears of unfair practices done during past fifty years to Sindhis in Karachi.
Lyari (Composing of Sindhis, Pathan and Baluch) which was actual Karachi will always remain slum, as if it is never ever part of Karachi. Similarly disparity and contrast can also be found between actual 70 % rural Pakistan and British era Metropolis cities like Pindi, Lahore, Queta, Karachi composing of Mall Roads, Saddar, Societies, DHA, etc. The decision making elite of these Metropolis is less 1 % of the whole Pakistan population of 180 Millions. This all is result of colonial policy of state patronage of imposing minorities/aliens over majorities/locals and cultural homicide treatment to majority even after partition. Karachi explains exactly why Pakistan is taken over by Autocrats and Establishment. Pathan, Baluch and Sindhi will live with each other in peace in Interior Sindh, whereas in Karachi, there will be always violence and bloodshed of Sindhis and Pathans . The violence and TT culture, we see in Karachi, can’t be seen in other cities like Lahore, Queta, Pindi, and Peshawar. This sort of violence and TT cluture can also be observed in Indian Movies and Bombay.

Why our Free Media never dare to discuss MQM fake claim of 2nd best mayor the way they discuss and create justification and support for ethnic cleansing of Pathans under the label of WOT and name of Taliabn/Alqaeda. Every bomb blast is accepted by some mysterious Mullah/Talib sitting in cave in Tribal Area (Swat, North/South Waziristan). Leaving aside US Drone attacks, all killed by Jet PAF Jets Bombers and Army Heavy Artillery are always terrorist? How many such occurrences have been investigated? How many bombs blast have been preemptively avoided/intercepted?

After Army operation (spanning for couple months) against Boriband culture in Karachi Army Chief is poisoned to death, President along with Prime Minister are sent home whereas whole Govt is packed up. Why Army operations (spanning over years) against Bengalis (1970/71), Baluch (1974/75), Sindhis (1980s) and Pathans (WOT) is not followed by same consequences.

MQM and Pathan both are aliens in Karachi. But why Pathans are taxi drivers, watch man and waiters whereas most of Clifton, DHA villas, Business Houses and Industrial Units on II Chundrigar Road, Site and Mall Road (Shahrah Faisal) are owned by migrants from Gujrat/India.

1st ov all as you say karachi was just a small village name KULACHI .. it is those Settlers who make this small village in a huge city which this FOREIGN POLICY MAGAZINE count in 60 global cities, as you were mentioning especially those Gujarati Indians i must tell you they contribute a hell lot 2 establish not only Karachi but of Pakistan economy, so if they have properties in all elite areas of Karachi that’s not because they capture it with arms n ammunition …. they earn it unlike those feudal who grab lands all over Pakistan from sindh to sirhad by aligning the shoes of British Govt.
