Atique is very thoughtful, sharp and knowledgeable person, much better leader than Zardari and Gilani. Atique handled iftikhar’s research gracefully. We need such sharp individuals in our own country.
This is first time I heard him. He is pretty sharp like his father. But unfortunately like father he is dishonest and big time flipflop. He is one of the rare kind who says agencies should help politicians to get in power. We all know they do but nobody says they should. All his rehotric about Kashmiri Jehad and terrorism was based on his understanding with agencies who got him in power. He is definitely Mushraaf’s remains and should be voted out thru no confidence.
The world knows there is no resistance in Azad Kashmir. The world knows that Pakistani controlled kasmir is free from attrocities of the controling entity.
The world knows that there is resistance in Jamu and that Indian army is committing atrocities.
UNO has already passed a resolution in favor of Kashmiries getting the right to choose.
What Musharraf suggested and what this Ateeq ur rehman is saying is load of unworkable rubbish. Why would India agree to anything that a failed looking state like Pakistan might say?
The solution to Kashmir is to empower and develop Pakistan and to pursue the UNO resolution.
Israel today can choose to attack Ghaza and ignore the world community because it has put itself in a place where it can exercise ‘might is right’.
Gen Zia did a lot of wrongs but he had India buggered with the Sikh movement. Had BB not quashed that movement, maybe India today would not be in a position to follow in the example of Israel
