If I had not listened to him previously when he was CM then I might be decieved to believe that Pervez Ilahi is a very good and wise politician.

I can understand ypu feeling. This is pre planed interview. Most probably questions and answers were discussed and prepared in advance.
He is trying to throw his favour to PPP.
Duffer like him cant talk ” FilBadeeh” on issues. He is jumping on answer which shows both of them have discussed in advance.
Otherwise throw him in front of Kashif, r Shahid or Jabdeh man and you will find him as pure paindoo Illiterate Ex CM of Parha likha Punjab.
