Justice Sheikh Hakim Ali, a member of the Supreme Court bench hearing the Sharif brothers’ electoral eligibility case, on Monday observed that although PML-N Quaid Mian Nawaz Sharif has been pardoned, but his conviction in one case is still intact.
The SC bench, comprising Justice Moosa K Leghari, Justice Syed Sakhi Hussain Bukhari and Justice Sheikh Hakim Ali, was hearing a set of pleas pertaining to the eligibility of the Sharif brothers to contest the by-polls, and an application seeking formation of a larger bench consisting of those judges of the apex court who had not taken oath under the Nov 3 PCO.
Muhammad Akram Sheikh, counsel for Mehr Zafar Iqbal, the proposer of Mian Nawaz Sharif, while appearing before the court argued that Mian Nawaz Sharif had been a victim of discrimination as cases of Makhdoom Javed Hashmi and Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani were pending before the court; however, they contested the general elections while Nawaz Sharif was not allowed to contest the polls.
This time it seems Nawaz & Co. not ready to face Zardari’s full 32 teeth face which is later on revealed in the manner of “YEH KOI QURAN AUR HADITH THORI HAI, JO BADLA NAHI JA SAKTA.”
Sheikh Hakim Ali is probably referring to “Hijacking of plane case” against nawaz sharif.
I wonder how a hijacked person could topple a government. If that is the kind of strength the hijacked person had, i am not sure whether should call him hijacked at all ?

I am neither a lawyer or a fan of Nawaz Sharif, however, if this case is refered to plane hijacking, then I wonder what kind of Judges are running this show in our unique country. How can a person sitting on the ground hijack a plane and then sign a contract to leave the country?
Here are six essential elements of a contract followed in North America. If a single one is missing court thoughs out the contract as not valid.
1. Capacity of Parties
The parties entering into a contract must be legally competent to contract.
2. Legal Object
The purpose of the contractual arrangement must be lawful.

Both parties have mutual agreement

It doesn’t seem any of those things were followed by our courts, not sure if they follow the law or they understand it.
