Maybe Abbasi was a fill-in cos they werent sure if Kaira was going to make it. Nice show but we had all 4 guys who had loads to say and so 40 minutes just didnt seem enough. Qaira does a good job defending PPP while KSR is as good as it gets for PML(N) which resulted in a heated discussion without going overboard.
Just a note on Abbasi’s remark though, if i remember correctly IK was all for the peace deal and said he would support it if it guaranteed long lasting peace which seemed resonable enough.
This is a good start-agreement and done in a proper way where provincial government is palying its proactive & due role and federal govt letting this happen as well as being +ve. My thoughts are that this agreemnt may creat some stirr and we can have more alternatives on tables rather than going for point of no-return.
Every one has the right to say their meaning, but I think it was NOT very wise by Sherry Rehman/ Presidential camp to be so “legal” at this point in time; they should have a more +ve tone at highest political & executive level and let the legal/ consitutional/ contractual issues settled down by legal experts / lower authorities in comming weeks. In this way a good negotiation environment is created and ANP provincial govt will get some more moral support on this….
Another interesting point of view comming is if the violence etc was caused by foreign involvement/ money then how this agreemnt can be helpful? Anyway, we should assert that NO one should support use of brutality to enforce religion by so called “religious khudai khidmatgars/ thekedars” where ever they are.

I don’t like Shiekh Rashid, I wouldn’t like to give him a single vote, because he has no good reputation from his previous performance and same way I have reservations from other politicians who have bad reputation and bad records from previously and presently. Telli said, almost everything true, it is not new, our all politicians, mainly BiBi (unfortunately she couldn’t become pm or president to see whether she has changed since she last in power?) Zardari and Nawaz sharif & company etc., All they did talk, very truely like this Telli is talking now, but like others as soon as this Telli, if comes in power/goverment, he will exactly behave same as others are doing rightnow, those are in power.
Now about faujistan issue, all these politicians one way or other are “bagel bachaas” of Generals, they criticise the Generals when they are not in power, not only that even recently they do NRO and other deals with Generals, and past deals in last 15 years. Do you think today Zardari is free, that whatever he wants, he can make policies? Obiviously not, several decission he made, and he took it back. Honest and real leader will never accept the condition under which pressure he is working today. By the way let me tell you, there is not a bit difference in these Generals and Politicians, their aims/goals are exactly same.

During the programme at one stage Hamid Mir very rudely interrupted Sheikh Rasheed when he said, ” At the time of death of Benazir” , Hamid Mir insisted that Sheikh Rasheed should call her Shaheed, and he kept on insisting until Sheikh Rasheed called her Shaheed. This affected the flow of the programme and then Sheikh Rasheed could not focus on the point being discussed.
Hamid Mir is a SOLD OUT man, I don’t know what did he gain by insisting on the word Shaheed. Although I am not a fan of Sheikh Rasheed but this culture of calling Bhutto family Shaheed must stop. All members of Bhutto family were killed for their lust of power.
Benazir is not Shaheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeedddddddd. She killed Murtazah Bhutto, supported the Lal Masjid Action, always insulted Imran Khan and Qazi Hussain and above all she singed NRO. And this is because of her NRO, we saw yesterday that Musharraf is back with full honour and waving Cigar.
Benazir and the whole Bhutto family can go to hell. What has this family done for Pakistan, apart for breaking Pakistan and giving us the gift of NRO.
