Gilani has reactivated the special quota for special plots to anyone at his discretion on Zardaris’ order. It is interesting or rather depressing to note that PPP has distributed plots to their supporters who suffered in Islamabad and Karachi blasts, but did not distribute to any other citizens.

REAL STAKEHOLDERS AND OWNERS THIS PUBLIC LAND ARE THE POOR PEOPLE OF PAKISTAN AND NOT JUST A FEW HER PRIVILAGED CLASSES !
NEW LAWS MUST BE ENACTED TO MAKE SURE THAT A JUST, TRANSPARENT, SOCIALLY EQUITABLE AND UNIFORM PROCEDURE IS FOLLOWED FOR ANY DISPOSAL OF THE PUBLIC LANDS AND PROPERTIES.

Your suggestion of stopping all discretionary land allotments is very noble, indeed. But a question that repeatedly comes to one’s mind is, ‘ WHO WILL BELL THE CAT’?
Such like activities have always kept on happening in this ‘land of the pure’ since the Day-1, (independence from British Raj,) & WHICH WILL NOT END till a ‘Messiah’ actually comes from the heavens-above to punish the ‘wrong-doers’!
Why the frak cant Gilani say ‘no’ to Zardari? Gilani is as much a partner in crime as Zardari himself. This time Gilani should be sent to jail for 10 years.
