Dear Members & Visitors,
PKPolitics has produced few motivational songs for the Movement for Rule of Law and Long March through the contributions of several generous members of this website. This was the best we could get done in the limited time and we hope it should be motivational and appealing for common man.
We require volunteers in various cities who can download and distribute the song tracks to Lawyers, Politicians and Members of Civil Society who will be taking part in the Long March.

To be very honest, all the 4 songs listed cannot in any way be called motivational, for motivational songs you need something that gets your blood pumping. All the songs have a mellow tune and lyrics made up just for the sake of it. The song “Asan Chaudhry Laye” creates an image as if Chaudhry ki Baraat arahi hai haha!!
“Kal Aaj aur Kal” is a very good motivational song, we need more songs like these, songs that have a driving beat in them. Songs with Habib Jalib’s lyrics would go well with the purpose they are for.
Now if we can get mainstream channels to play these, it would be awesome. I hope there wont be any royalty issues.

You have a point and we had similar concept when we started this project.
However after discussions with seniors and experts in the market, we had to make a difficult decision to make songs that had popular melody and the poetry to targets millions of ordinary people, who are not fortunate enough like us to get higher education.
The poetry in the songs have been kept to very simple and focused on Justice and few leading figures in this movement.
Also Jalibs song that Shabaz Shareef sung yesterday that was very good.
@Admin is that possible that you get original soundtracks for all these songs? Also how can we help in distributing these CDs in PK.

There are no issues and anyone can use them freely wherever they want, with or without giving credits.

The songs are not available on CD yet, however you can download CD quality wav files and burn them.
It would help if you can burn few copies of the CD and distribute them to the Bar Councils in your city and nearby cities ASAP.
It only goes to show that a great majority of us, i.e; over 160 million Pakistanis, WANT A REAL CHANGE, THIS TIME. Only a very small minority, made up of Boot-lickers/appeasers/Mir Jaffers & Mir Sadiqs/landed-classes like the Legharis/certain,Chaudheris/Khans/Waderas/Watoos & Kasuris, may NOT LIKE a such a change, OnLy & only to save their Lands ( which exist to the limits-that-eyes-can-see,) & including their other financial assets; or finally their skins.
But it shows, that NOW, RIGHT NOW, for the last time, the MAJORITY WANT A PEACEFUL REVOLUTION (OR A CHANGE.) Because,the next time,( OR THERE MAY NOT BE A “NEXT TIME”) it will be a BLOODY REVOLUTION, the likes of which this country may not have seen before; it could be WORST than the Iranian revolution of the recent past, or EVEN WORST THAN the French revolution of the distant past. Why the poetry of some of the songs are in Punjabi? This suggests as if this is a punjabi movement. I suggest you either remove these songs or have a fair translation into Urdu. This is not a good message for non-Punjabi brothers and sisters.
I am currently writing a poem in urdu which I hope to upload although its not meant for the long march. Its just based on a reflection on current events.
I found a good online urdu keyboard and will use it.

excellent songs! I like the quality even in mp3. I think if the songs are being played in a noisy environment like a teashop or on the street in the rally through the “loud-ispeekar” system then it is wasted bandwidth to burn the wmv’s because the finer tones would be killed by they ‘delivery systems’ as it were.
I would also second the suggestion to make a compilation of these songs with other previously existing songs… I don’t know about the song from “natwarlal” though … last thing I want to hear in a Pakistani rally for Rule of Law and justice, is a fricking indian song !
Abrar’s, Jalib’s remix by geo, and others mentioned by @Ijay and @smssr84 would be worth putting in a compilation.

I would request all pkpolitics viewers to send the message to all main tv anchors to just give time to the decisive movments of lawyer movement and restoration of judiciary for the next few days, not to these stupid politicians of ruling parties.
Zardari played a game to mix up this movement/longmarch with the PML N protest, and to some extent he is succeeded. All the leadership of parties participating in long march should realise this and should come forward with the one point agenda of judiciary restoration. Let us speak up and tell our media anchors to strengthen the rule of law.
By the way, anybody knows who is this new chief justice of Islamabad highcourt????, a judge having links with underworld mafia, remember Ansar Abbasi’s report!!!!. God bless Pakistan.

Guys is it possible that everyone try to find mp3 or wav fomat of these songs posted on this forum. Pointing to youtube is not helping. Instead of infinte list lets have at least 15 songs. If you guise can give me a path for mp3, I can atleast have them burn on atleat 100CDs and cassetes from hall road Lahore. Since we are not able to play it from youtube in longmarch.

Also please try not to make this a politcal issue for PML-N instead make it a Pakistan issue. So Please Pakistani flags only. Just rember when ever there is demonstration against Govt in UK or US you can only see countries flag and not party flags. Please remember we dont have much time.
