Swat is a part of Malakand division; and this area had never been considered to be a Tribal
Teritory. As for Talibans’ sharia, for them it is more than a body of belief. They consider it to be
their identity, they want it to be accepted and served, at whatever cost to the individual or the
state itself. ANP has provided them this opportunity.

Swat and Malakand division comes under PATA not FATA. But the issue is that this War of Taliban could escalate in the whole country. Talibans are already very close to Islamabad and it will be fair to say they are now in Islamabad.
Its amazing to hear Wajid Shamsul hassan, the ambassador of pak in UK that Nawaz sharief should ask Saudi government to help Pakistan in terms of financial aid. Looks amazing from the mouth of a PPP man.
