The interview is broken in two parts. In first part AA did pretty good. Iftikhar is trying to grill him but so far AA has held his ground like a vitorous leader. AA has done politics of principles in past few years so I expect him to do well in the second part as well. But it will be interesting to see how he will handle PPP’s internal politics.

Aitzaz Hassan really worked hard during the Lawyers Movement and the result is that today we got the Judiciary which is really free and we are beginning to see the results.

The only black mark on his career is when in the first era of Benazir he took the Sikh’s fighters list to India, and from there on we lost the upper hand and Rajiv Gandhi then crushed the Sikh movement. This is fact it was Aitezaz Hassan who took that list, but I salute him now for his part in the restoration of Chief Justice.

Yes and the great Sufi Mohammed has announced today that he does not recognize the writ of the supreme court which Pakistanis from all walks of life struggled to restore for two long years. Including this website and a majority of its participants. Majority or atleast a significant number of Pakistanis consider CJ Iftikar and Aitzaz Ahsan as heroes. No democracy, no parliament no superior courts says Sufi Mohammed, these are all unislamic.- thats his statement today.

This is not a fact. This is crap propagated by Sheeda Tully, for which AA took him to court for defamation being interior minister and won a substantial amount of money, something like 2-5 crore, which Tully could not give. So he forgave him the money as well. Please get your record straight.

The person who could tell Asif Zardari, the first husband at that time, during 88-90 to go to court to settle defamation against press would not do such underhanded tricks. He has himself clarified this point a million times.

You are talking rubbish, there was no Court case. In her second era Benazir (not shaheed) in order to win sympathy of Indians made a public statement that a genuine list was provided to Rajiv Gandhi and in return the Indians should not create problems for her.
Also in Dec 1988 at the time of SAARC conference, just to please Rajiv Gandhi there was no mention of Kashmir issue, and to this then Gen Aslam Beg took avery serious note of this.
I have noticed that you Giant Squid your comments are always just as stupid as your funny ttitle.
As far as Sheeda Tully is concerned he was the one who initiated the NRO game and the biggest beneficiary is your Zardari. And Zardari is the biggest protector of Musharraf.

    1. Where in my posts did you find that I am a Zardari supporter? :) Please keep your worthy judgements to yourself. And Zardari, unfortunately or fortunately, is OUR president now. 1 year down, 4 to go… Can’t wait to boot the party of zombies and morons out.
    2. I am talking of a latest interview of Aitzaz Ahsan which I and I am sure many others listened to, on this same web site. These are his words, not mine.
    3. General Beg did what? Took “Serious note” of it. woooooooo….. i am so scared. Nonsense. And what did he do with that serious note? Chew it?

Keep your language within the realm of decency.
