i think if you talk to mqm supporter they would condem this episode but if you talk to taliban aout flogging of the women they will call it islamic law.And that is the real debate in pakistan
In many of the discussions at this site,when we talk of taliban people would argue about iraq war.No one among us is in favor of iraq war but many of us do think taliban as islamic form of government.and again that is the real debate if we think it is right or wrong

Flogging is clearly allowed in Islam in the case if the accusation is really proved. Most of the people just saw the flogging video , started condeming , and declared the girl innocent. I know Taliban dont have the right to impose shariah laws their selves. But if in other parts of the country such things are hapening and gov writ is not considered to be challenged then here in swat we should also not worry.
I never heard MQM condemning what their Nazim did.? They should have also made hue and cry just like they are making now. Ok, i believe they condemn, but just condemnation? why didnt they flog their own Nazim openly.
In fact , it should be condemned more when MQM consider itslef to be more educated .
Every one ,knows that MQM is ruling karachi and it doesnt allow any one else to do anything there. They are the taliban of karachi..
