Guardian:
Britain is stepping up its military and intelligence presence in Pakistan to help in the fight against the Taliban and al-Qaida, Whitehall officials have told the Guardian.
About 20 "military advisers" will liaise with the Pakistani army and particularly with the Frontier Corps, an ethnic Pashtun paramilitary force on the frontline of the battle with the Taliban.
Britain will also increase the number of intelligence officers in Pakistan, according to the officials, increasing an already large MI6 presence in the country. MI5 is also in the country investigating links to suspected terrorist plotters in Britain.

Only ZAB had the balls to deal with US and others. No one after that could do it.
We have to wait for another ZAB to born and fight for Pakistan. Until that time,
please keep Pakistan intact.

May Allah bless Pakistan.

Its sad that Zardari, Sharif or any other leader have least concern about people of Pakistan. They have just become part of the US conspiracy to destabilize Pakistan. One wants to stay in power and other wants to grab it. In the end, perhaps its a no win situation.

@Awaam
US does not need to do any thing new to zardari, who would himself tell them to do more to punish army and isi and others, who are not willing to work under CIA/MI6 approved and trained rehman malik.
However, the attitude of nawaz sharif is really pathetic. who is just waiting that when washington would approve his direct role in the Pakistani government.

When he sits down with Zardari on Wednesday at the White House, Obama will urge him to put more effort into building domestic support by meeting critical public needs and to resolve his differences with Sharif and others so that he can concentrate on governing, according to officials who discussed sensitive and fluid Pakistan issues on the condition of anonymity- Wahington Post
