A quick note to the stunningly idiotic, out of touch, “anchors” of our news channels.
A few things to consider:
1. Talibs are an organized force with their own intelligence structure.
2. Talibs are very media savvy,
3. Talibs have “minders” or “spies” in each and every IDP camp, just assume it!
4. Everytime some Media nit-wit is sitting their trying to look all “concerned and stuff”, they should keep in mind that there is a GREAT possiblity that there are at least one or two talib “minders” present in that conversation.
So, dear clueless anchorpersons, don’t go around asking victims of these henious murderers WHY THEY DON”T LIKE TALIBS. You know why? because YOU may be clueless, out of touch nitwits, who’ll scoot out of there before nightfall, but these people will have to not only exist in the camp, they might have to go back to the original area, with the possibility that the talibs might again be in control.
If you want to present why people may or may not like Talibs, make an effort to hide their identity, change their voice and then ask them the same question. Until then, what you’re doing is akin to going into a mafia stronghold and asking the victims of that area (residents that is) “tell me on camera, what is it that the Don is doing against the law”
Good luck finding real answers to such utterly stupid questions!

excellent point! I remember a year or so ago Hamid Mir went to Bara (near peshawar) and was asking the local Sikhs if they like the Taliban. Obviously all the Sikhs said yes they love the Talibans etc etc. I was thinking about the bozo hamid mir – no person with even one brain cell would say yes these goddamn talibs are a**holes etc because that will be their last day on mother earth.

@GTK and @yousafkhan
Very well said. I’ll only add that people like mulla Hamid Mir are not nit wits – they know exactly what they’re doing.
