we have spineless leaders who are so afraid to take public positions. In APC, they said aid sould not be counter productive, now a series of strings attached to it by americans, but still we are more than happy to take it. They do not have the courage to say no.
If we can have some Pakistani policy paper to look at things that we deal on external front and how we determine our domestic policies that would be a big help. Do not leave it on corrupt and incompetent people who are ruling in Islamabad.
Some day I think we all have to think we we have touched such a low in the world. We as a nation have not been following any social values in recent years. Social decay has rotten most of us. we must rethink about our ownseves then I think there would be dfinitely a change. Real change.

Many young readers here may not remember East Pakistan, but Kargil Surrender took place only 12 years ago, right in front of our eyes, when our Army spokesman was saying that we have enterred 50 miles into Kashmir and we are advancing further. And the next morning when we woke up our PM Nawaz Sharif was already in America, begging President Clinton to save his face from total defeat.

IMO, Operation would be expanded to Waziristan and continued for long time becuase expenses of Seekh kabab, nuggets, tea, juices, dahibhally, fuel, and salaries of our “jawans” and weapons are paid by US govt. So prolong “war” and earn money as much as possible.

Pakistan needs to move very carefully on this operation issue. These are our own people. Find something where least use of force could yield peace for us.
Getting dollars from US has become a huge attraction for our incompetent rulers. Is it really important to beg this money for our survival or peace is more crucial for stability of Pakistan? We have to set our own house in order by setting policies in our own national interest.
