Pakistani media is supporting the iranian regime shamelesly and no supporting the people of iran at all.
This moron Irfan siddiqui wrote 3-4 columns just before elections,he was staying in tehran,his conclusion was ahmedinajad would win.

In his columns,there was no indication of peoples unhappiness with the current situation and the possibility of civil unrest.Now he is in every talk show and tries to behave as the only insider.

Pakistani media had the same sympathetic attitude towards taliban for along time and now the Iranian regime which is more or less like a soft taliban.

I strongly believe this media has to bring objectivity.

The revolution in Iran has failed in ideology. It might carry on for years like mushi did in Pakistan but the idea is history because it failed to deliver what it promised at the start. The Iranian people are not free and in the hold of one dictator after another. They got rid of shah and in came the mullahs. What kind of democracy gives approval to candidates that can stand for election? Imagine mushi did this and we would still be stuck with sheikh Rashid, wasi zafar, durrani and ellahi brothers because the guardian council finds them the only suitable candidates. Mushi would be on TV getting medals for bringing true democracy to Pakistan while a giant picture of quaid azam hangs in the background in the parliament. Only PTV gives official news under lockdown. One million people come to the street of Islamabad to protest the rig elections and we are told ignore them since it is fair election mushi only won by 10 million votes because he is very popular. The country has vast resources of oil but the economy is in shambles. Unemployment is high because foreign investment is not coming in and what money is in Iran is not circulating or being invested but saved in hidden bank accounts due to corruption. As bad as things are bad in Pakistan we still have a lot to be proud of. We just got rid of a dictator, elections have been held, media is free, judiciary is back, civil society has woken up and we just won the t20 world cup. Other things will improve by time and a lot of hard work but we are headed in the right direction. Thank god we are Pakistan and not Iran or Saudi Arabia. We had sir syed, iqbal and Jinnah as our leaders. When we look around and see house of Saud, Hosni Mubarak, Qaddafi, ahmedinijad, karzai. We are miles ahead and have better ideals.
