Gadar!!! they want to divide pakistan so that it can be disintegrated easily.
They cant even manage country or even their local governement in local towns then how come they will be able to manage all those provinces. These all r tactics and again giving DHOKA to people!!!
They all r working on foreign agendas and zardari pulling cords behind to start these issues when whole nation need to be united!!
This badtareen jahangir was with musharaf miniter then y didnt he bark that at that time??
Corrrput ppl!! they should be hanged in middle of road to make them nishan e ibrat.!!
I agree… if you recall the CIA map that was leaked and published few years ago clearly shows disintegration of our country. Can someone tell these politicans that firstly, this is not the time to raise such a sensitive issue and secondly, unity make a country strong and division only divides the country… My dear countrymen… please open for eyes and minds and stop these so called politicans such as Durrani from further dividing the nation.
I endorse views stated by Jahangir Tareen.
We need to understand the concept of more provinces first and then we should make any comments. This nation problem is deprivation, poor people have no access to their essential needs and there is no body to address their problems.
If we have small and more provinces, people would be able to address their problems and find solution.
The survival of Pakistan is rest upon having more provinces. Otherwise Baluchistan, FATA and NWFP and some parts of Punjab are already crying for their rights. This idea came very late but we still have time and every Pakistani should think this idea sincerely.
We all have to live in Pakistan and we all have to take care of those who haves not. Mohammad Ali Durrani brought this proposal and I think it has backing of elite class.
So lets pray that this proposal is materialized which would eliminate fighting among the provinces.
There is nothing odd in dividing Punjab. once again its impossible for one CM to run a province with a population of 100 millions. So there is no conspiracy in it. Moreover, PML(N) has 8 seats there so it will not effect PML(N) either.
We should stop awarding traitor ceritifates to others. Bengali were traitors, Baluchis are traitors, Urdu speaking ppl are traitors, Southren punjubis are traitors. Why not give every province their due rights. why not pay the right royalty to Baluchistan. Why not divide the Punjub ? If punjabi establishment splitted the whole country into two pieces then why not split the biggest provinces into more manageable small units. Why the standard of life is different in Westren and northern punjab as compare to southren punjab.
YES, making more provinces would help better governance, but even b4 this politicians need to be legitimate humans, they are not sincere in doing anything in the right way. They dont possess leadership qualities, instead they possess qualities of being Raasheees, Zanees, dacoits ets. They will have to fix themselves first, otherwise no use to do any reforms. EVEN good policies fail, when implementers fail to be sincere with their implementation.
@rahmed
This is not one sided problem, currently you can’t declare a single province, or a party responsible for this mess, the whole system is corrupt. People presently asking for more provinces, themselves make their stance controversial because of their bad repute. This Jahangir Tareen isn’t traitor, but what you think after getting Bahawalpur a separate province he will change his instinct or nature? No he will remain bud Tareeeeeeeeeeeeen! the real need for real improvement, is to get rid of this so called leadership
ISLAMABAD: A leading Pakhtun leader and Chairman of the Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) Mehmood Khan Achakzai has demanded massive constitutional amendments for giving autonomy to the Pakhtuns, Baloch, Sindhis, Seraikis and Punjabis that will pave the way for a strong and viable Pakistan as a federation.
Achakzai during an interview with The News strongly advocated for Pakhtunkhwa province, consisting of the NWFP and Pakhtun areas of Attock, Mianwali and Balochistan. The nationalist leader noted that the perpetual erosion of the federal structure of Pakistan, particularly because of the four military rules, had led to trust deficit in the country, which was a matter of grave concern for the patriotic citizens.
He reiterated his strong opposition to the armed forces and the intelligence agencies’ political role. The Centre, he said, should have legislative, executive and administrative powers vis-a-vis defence, foreign affairs, currency and communication while all other subjects should go to the federating units.
He said the provincial autonomy should be guaranteed through constitutional institutions, adding that the Senate and the National Assembly should have equal powers regarding prime minister’s vote of confidence, money bills and all other legislative matters.
The appointment of the chief justice of Pakistan, the chief of the armed forces, the chief election commissioner, auditor general, ombudsman, ambassadors and chiefs of corporations, banks and other institutions should be made after a nod from the Senate.
The nationalist leader proposed that Pashto, Balochi, Sindhi, Seraiki and Punjabi should be recognized as national languages, making them medium of instructions and official work, whereas Urdu be the Lingua Franca and English be used for interaction with the outside world.
To a question about the present situation in Balochistan, Achakzai proposed that Gwadar Port should be handed over to the provincial government and there should be no more construction of cantonments in the province. He said the Levies system should be revived and strengthened there.

just a imagine Jahangir Khan and Durani never raised this issue about south punjab during Musharf;s rule, all of a sudden this issue, you all know JAHANGIR kahn Tureen has his own pml-F YOU ALL know what F means that;s it?
Assalam-o-Alaikum-Warahmat-ULLAH ALL,
@dildar: It takes “good” people, “good Muslims” to delegate power and money.
Provincial autonomy has been talked about for decades. It will happen INSHALLAH, when we have good people at the throne of Pakistan
I don’t have confidence in nationalists to do it. They just throw in comments to keep the people divided. They are still going forward with a failed strategy and giving us ZERO results
Dua go,
HarisKhan
shaytaan mir is again working on assigned agenda… why he chose this debate at this time is a big question.
The issue of more provinces in Pakistan is quite old but had always been suppressed, by force, by the Punjab dominated bureaucracy and mainly by politicians from Punjab who want to keep their hold the affairs of the country. The time has come when people of Pakistan should decide the issue through referendum. Power hungry and Obstinate politicians like Rana Sanaullah will ultimately be defeated.
Creating more provinces is the best solution to solve lots of local level problems. General public has been suffering for long time for water, electricity and other similar problem and I think creating more provinces will certainly alleviate their day-to-day problems.
The southern punjab has been ignored since bahawalpur was taken in punjab.
another thing is that other provinces feel threatened by punjab because of its influence. majority of pakistanis live in this province. if its size is reduced, not only will southern punjab get its share but also punjabs influence will be reduced to some extent. the power structure in pakistan will become more balanced.and the complaints of balochistan will be gone off after making an another province in punjab.we need prosperous pakistan than a big provice punjab. We should divide provinces for the sake of better management. It also will have create competition among the provinces when they see one area is more developed and other is less developed. I think we should learn from the history now and make our provinces more autonomous for better governance.
It is pointed out that only a Rs 5 billion development budget was fixed for the Seraiki areas against over Rs100 billion for the central and northern Punjab.
@All
lol u already dont have water my bros, all thanks to india and now river sindh’s soon indian will divert from pakistan to india. more depreivation of water from sindh and u will still be saying that punjab stole the water lol or punjab say sindh stole the water! but actually india was doing that!!
So even after u create small provinces u will be still fighting for water, elecrticty food etc etc. coz no water means no all these things. acres of land was banjar now due to stoppage of water by indian. and u will see coming up.
pakistan cant even take out minerals from rikodiq mines which can help pakistan so wat u talking abt? cant even provide electricity to all provinces now then wats the gurantee that this elecrticity crisis will be over?? this is all DHOKA and they r making people foool!!
Local district govs have their representative then y not they r working n raising vocie for their people in area?? coz they only come out to get vote and then got n sit in islamabad and enjoy .
Mark my words today small provinces wont make pakistan any better or wont provide any solutions rather we will see more fighting among provinces on ethenic bases.
All r ghadar!!! they cant even tell india to stop building dams on our water then how can they provide the solution!!
All these waderas want their non interfered teritories where they rule!! poor will be poor no matter wat u do.
Only solution to pakistan problem is to have honest and reliable leadership and government!!!
