There is no harm in having smaller units of governance. That solves people's problems more and better. Why should something be got from Lahore if the problem is in The Cholistan Desert. Punjab should be divided into three provinces with Islamabad separate, Baluchistan into four, Sindh into three and NWFP into four. We will have more Chief Ministers more ministers and more beaureaucrats and better administration but Cabinets must be smallest and the secretariats the same. We want few to govern but govern best. Lean and mean should be the policy.

The federation will be stronger. No one province will be able to dominate as it does now. In the end peoples problems will be better solved and sooner.

Along with this I want to see land ceiling introduced so that more and more people have access to the resources of the country. No one person should be allowed to own more than say 60 acres of land and if it is under canal no one person should have more than say 15 acres of land.

You see land is limited and people unlimited so more and more people should have access to our natural resources. This increases wealth. Purchasing power of people goes up, they need things. Don't import but make them at home. That gives a fillip to industries creating huge employment. There will be an economic boom like of which you cannot even dream of.

We would really be very simple if we think that just by dividing the provinces further will ease down our problems. It is a crises of management guys, we have managerial divisions, districts, tehsils and union councils. If our government just strengthen the institutes and give provincial autonomy; which requires nothing but a will, then our problems will start solving.

Creating further provinces will only add more and more MPAs, CMs and their corruption.

Let us listen to M Durrani and his views. Pakistan needs more provinces for its servival and this is a fact. Baluchistan, FATA and particularly Punjab which is the centre of all problem and poor people have no access to their essential needs.
