Nadeem Malik presents another episode of Islamabad Tonight discussing role of parliament for constitutional ammendments and for stopping Drone attacks with guests Ahsan Iqbal (PMLN) and Safdar Abbasi (PPP).
Last weekend I was at the Smithsonian Museum in DC and stood right infront of the Drone that is used by the US to bombard the terrorist hideout and I said to myself while looking at the beast… this is the object that has killed innocent people in Pakistan. Terrorist are still at large but the people who are killed for no reason or no crime are paying the price of this war.
It is apparent that Drone attacks will not stop for sometime since the Army and the Govt. of Pakistan have no problem with such attacks and I read few days ago that some of the recent attacks were carried out on Army’s request.
Very Good topic for discussion. What is the role of the parliament, perhaps nothing. These corrupt MPs know that they are not doing anything except passing on the buck.
People of Pakistan must wake up force these politicians and military establishment to do their defined roles.
Two drones attacks in as many days plus bombing by Pakistani fighter jets. Is there anyone who has the courage to answer how many Dehshat Gard and how many innocnets were killed.
Pakistan must wipe out people who challenge writ of the state and must eliminate every single person who is involved in bomb blasts, but we need to think how to do it.
The way we are carrying out these operations could force more people to retaliate in anger. Show some common sense. We need peace in Pakistan.
