Various Time own (Rtd.) Pak Army Generals e.g. Hameed Gul, Oarakzai, Gen. Asad Durrani ,Aslam Baig & even Hamid Nawaz how many evidences are required to establish this fact No Justice from Top to Bottom No Peace.

How many times this would be established if Pak Army would fight with own people plus displace them Permanent Peace will not be restored, this is American War as rightly pointed out the guest & few Generals are making money until & unless American Presence plus the luxuries of the Ministers & Fauji Generals & the Strict Law Bindings only for common man – No Peace at all at any cost, as this is written on Wall.

One of the major reason why militancy was so widespread in this area was poverty and lack of resources, besides the dirty role played by few generals as US ally to create Taliban.
Now watching this programme, ANP openly and repeatedly said PPP government has not given them in money for IDPs, which appears to me as a crime.

Shifting goalposts for army operation may be a very dangerous ploy. What is happening in Pakistan sometimes it indicates that soon Zardari and Rehman Malik would be crying for the need to launch an offensive in Balochistan, particularly near Afghan border and Southern Punjab.
Such operations provide support to American army on the other side of the border, but seriously destablize Pakistan.
We want peace and stability in our country no radical Mullah culture and no Army General culture, which was promoted in Pakistan to defeat Soviets in Afghanistan. But no one thought what would be cost of this policy for our future generations.
Similarly, we should not forget what we are doing today its repercussions would be felt 10-20 years down the road. Keep future of Pakistan in mind.

Too often we ignore our own people, which hurts us badly as a nation and it also undermines unity. It would be great if all stakeholders spend their energies now on development of these affected areas with sincerity.

There is a need to have a comprehensive plan like the one prepared for earthquake reconstruction and rehabilitation. Saleem Saifullah rightly mentioned it.
However, it is missing so far. There should be an umbrella development, reconstruction framework available, which should be offered to all international donors to come forward and fund.
No one is going to give free cheques to Mr. Zardari due to credibility issue, but having a credible programme, supported by donors would make it possible for our people to get some help.
It should also remain open, transparent and accountable programme to minimize chances of corruption.
NWFP govt should take lead if the federal govt is hesitant and announce a comprehensive 3-year development framework and put on the official website, where every penny of aid money should be monitored.
