Open Letter to General Kiyani-Don’t Let Your Soldiers Down
Dear Gen. Ashfaq Pervaiz Kiyani,
Chief of Army Staff, Pakistan Army
GHQ Rawalpindi,
As the Commander of the Armies of the Republic, we invite you to take a trip to 2024 in our time machine. Imagine, if after 15 years , an ex-officer of some intelligence agency and the ex-Corps Commander Peshawar appeared on the TV screen claiming whatever was done in Swat in 2009 was nothing but a drama and there was no entity called the “Taliban” in Swat, how will the families of Shuhada/martyrs of Pakistan Army (Jawans and junior NCOs) feel.? What will be the impact of such a revelation on the morale of soldiers and officers? What will they think of their officers and generals when they realize that their blood was used as a bargaining chip by the GHQ?
And what about the nation’s confidence in their Army as the guarantor of our territorial integrity after another Imtiaz Billa spills the beans on Operation Rah-e-Rast? What if the videos of terrorists killed and their hideouts, training camps of suicide bombers, were revealed in 2024 as a brilliant psy-ops action?
This is exactly what some ex-army officers are doing now by appearing on our TV screens and claiming whatever was presented in official ISPR briefings in 1994 was a concocted drama, along with all the footage, pictures and evidence presented to the media.
Let us for a moment think about the army officers and soldiers who are being told the same stories about the Taliban and are being asked to risk their lives to save the county. Who will guarantee our soldiers today that they are not being used like a disposable napkin by their superior officers who only want a plot or two in DHA Islamabad?
We believe what is happening today is a huge conspiracy to demoralize the real core of the Pakistan army: its soldiers and junior officers. These ex-army and ex-intelligence officers who have confessed to massive corruption and meddling in politics must be tried in military courts and there should be an open inquiry so that the whole, complete, unadulterated truth can come out. That is the only way the wounds being inflicted on the national psyche, the Republic and its armed forces can be healed.
The ISPR needs to come out of its bunker and make its stance clear about the issue of Karachi Operations and guarantee the nation that the current campaign against anti-Pakistan Taliban is not some similar cock and bull story to save the skin of a dictator whose destructive reign not only destroyed the judiciary, damaged democracy but has also delivered a death blow to the prestige of our army.
Pakistan Army must now realize that their image and reputation can ONLY be restored by standing WITH the people of Pakistan and not by protecting an ex-dictator from his chosen fate: The noose of Article 6.
It’s about time to hang the dictator in a public square for his deeds!!!

but i want to know about one army officers his name is Lt Gen (Rtd) Tahir Mehmud Qazi. he is working as a High Comissioner for malaysia and he is sitting in Kaulalampur palace just like a king and Pakistani are yelling (for their official work) every day out side of kualampur high comission palace but no one hear them.
First of all why Govt is spending loads of money for the palaces in other countries why don’t we spend money for good management in Pakistan embassies?
and the second why we need army officers as high comission in friendly countries?

Its very hard to bear, listening and hearing that every one in Pakistan is unpatriotic and cruel towards the interest of Pakistani AWAM one way or the other.
I am an anchorperson for FM here in UK and most of the time I feel myself out of words when people ask me about the situation, crisis and future of our beloved homeland.
GOD ! the respect, the popularity and the authority is distributed among the rulers of the day in accordance to their corruption and shameful deeds.
The ray of hope looks dismal when the people of Pakistan see ZARDARI and ALTAF sitting together planning for the development of the country (Joke of the year).

you cannot compare swat operation with karchi operation in 1990.
in sawat pakistan state has been challenged , pakistan area has been occupied, its flag has been brought down, they flew their own flag, refused constitution of pakistan imposed their own system.
Pakistan Media has to play a vital role here , ARY like channel are under influence of MQM and some other pockets of media have to come out of influence to lead the nation and end the chapter of dictatorship once and for all.

It is good to correct the history by speaking truth but in this case Brig. Imtiaz tells the half truth or “Specific Truth” and hidding the half truth. If you watch him in Dunya Today August 27, 2009 he refuses to answer the questions of Dr. Moeed Pirzada saying that he will speak on these questions at any other occasion because the nation can not digest at the truth at once. So he wants to tell the truth to the nation for which he is paid.
Brig. Imtiaz is a criminal army officers like many others. He gets a chance to make more money and he is making by telling “Specific Truth”. At this stage he is favouring MQM by saying Jinnah Pure was a preplanned by Pak Army and Altaf Hussain refused to take money. If you noticed he was DIG, ISI in Karachi for many years but he did not tell anything about target killing in Karachi and No Go Areas at that time.
His targets are ISI, Pak Army and Nawazharif. You can imagine who has problems with Nawaz Sharif, ISI and Pak Army at this stage. Nawaz Sharif favours to prosecute for violation of article 6 of contitution. Pak Army wants to go back towards Indian borders after completing the operation in Swat and ISI is the main agency for the National Security and all enemies of Pakistan dislike it.

Armed Forces of Pakistan are awam of Pakistan. All the members serving our armed forces come from us AWAM. They all are patriotic Pakistanis except a few high ranking Generals like Musharraf, who on invitation and in collaboration with some corrupted politicians bring down the democaratically elected governmet. We, therefore, must not criticize our Armed forces as a whole. we all know that It takes one tank and couple of jeeps to accomplish the mission, we also know that only few top generals are the culprit. Rest of the Army is unaware of it
Rather than being punished for their crimes of high treason, these generals are rewarded. Many of our politicians are equally responsible for the attack on our democracy. They not only welcome Military cuops, but also join the army dictators. Vivid examples are; PMLQ and MQM.
There’s only one way to stop this by punishing those who commit crimes. Right now, we have a golden opportunity to bring these culprits to justice. Mr Musharraf is alive and well. He was given a safe passage by Mr zardari uder some kind of deal. Musharraf should voluntarily come back to face all the alligations levelled against him. If he fails to that then it’s incumbant upon our goernment to facilitate the process of extradition from UK. Mush is not alone and there are many acomplices as well. All of these acomlices also need to be brought to justice.This will definitely deter future coups.

If PKPolitics does not understand the structure of Pakistan army and the officer class, than I must take the liberty to explain, the criteria to be a Pak? Army officer is to speak the masters ‘s language and learn the tricks of occupying a third world county and still be the “pet mercenaries” of the Western masters.
This General was handpicked by the pentagon and American war machine and was breastfed by the neo-satanic warmongers of the west.
Almost all Pakistani Generals still think of themselves as the obedient servants of his masters army and are trained and “brain washed” (the little brains they have) in the military industrial complexes of the west and the think tanks(stink tanks run by the satanic war criminals and warmongers).
Mush-Harm is minting money ,speaking at these ‘Stink Tanks”, with his foul , rotten and shameless self as the expert on “Islamic terrorism and enlightened moderate Islam(an oxymoronic term).
Just think of these Pakistani “military rulers” as the Potatoes, a very thin brow skin but white and juiced up with the looted wealth, foreign bribes, money laundering, commissions, war profiteering, kidnapping their own countrymen for ransom, torturing, imprisoning, killing, humiliating and selling dead and alive humans to their masters for money and statues for themselves and their soulless and demonic children.

The prime duty of the Army is to be the gaurantor of the national teritorial, and ideological integrity, but for the last 62 years its going totaly in contrary direction.

Aamzing, if we only could have told this to capt jonaid shaheed, capt bilal shaheed and countless others, they would not have had to die. The 15 policeman killed in migawara yesterday could also been spared if only babloo could have told them no suicide bombers exist and its all fake.

MQM started off as movement for the rights of the middle class and ethnic Mohajirs in Karachi, and Hyderabad but soon it consolidated its roots within the wider society of Pakistan. Pakistan’s Punjabi establishment was terrified to see the emergence of a new political factor in the political process of Pakistan and hence we saw a massive crackdown against MQM in which thousand of party workers were eliminated. I agree that criminal elements and illegal activities might have taken place in the formative stages of MQM but that is part of the package in which an oppressed nation rises against injustice and corruption.
I think Punjabi people now need to accept the reality, and should take responbislity for the whatever they have done over the last many decades of Pakistan’s existence. Punjabi people brand MQM as a terrorist organisation, Taliban also as terrorists, resistance movement in Baluchistan is also branded as terrorist activity but they seldom try to sit back, reflect and analyse the root cause of the grievance of each of these resistance movements.
I would like now to introduce a new political movement in the making that is the nationalist movement in Gilgit-Baltistan. The people in the so called Northern Areas are suffering deprivation for the last many decades but no one seems to be interested in them, notwithstanding the fact that it is one of the most strategically important and geo-political critical regions.
While i am not a judgemental person but i have no choice but to brand Pakistanis as one of the most corrupt and hypocritical nation in the world. So i would urge every one not to worry too much about ideals in Pakistan. Idealism is possible only in great lands. Marx talked about German idealism and we have a great society in Germany, but we can not say the same for Pakistanis. Islam may be the religion of Pakistani people but i must say that there are few people who really practice the essence of Islam in Pakistan. The story of Pakistan is too sad my friends.

This how people like Zardari, Altaf and Nawaz cant join.
I will say to every pakistani that now wakeup through out these politicians who only in pakistan to live luxury life and enjoy on our tax and then when they are not in govt will enjoy luxury life in dubai and england

my my, again blaming on punjab. Where in punjab do you find any “Punjab Liberation Movement” but you can find Muhajir Movement, Pakhtunkhwa Movement, Baluchistan Liberation Army. Can you name one Punjabi government in Pakistan except that of Nawaz Sharif ?

No punjabi stopped other provincial governments to work hard. Do you know in Baluchistan, since the sixties, people from other provinces were needed as labour. Why? cuz the locals didn’t work and demanded wages. Upon asking why they don’t work they said “This is the land of our forefathers not yours, its our wish not to work”
And don’t forget, in those days, only punjabi engineers volunteered to build infrastructure in Baluchistan, as due to the killings of laborers and engineers, nobody wanted to go.

Army generals are not saint but I love to hear about the dirty deeds of our corrupt leaders. Brig Imtiaz or Gen Durrani must be telling us the truth as I did not see any alleged politicians comming up with solid argument in their defence for not receiving the money from ISI. Our top politicians are stinking corrupt, liars and crooks, just look at their life style and accumilated wealth they have.
I think instead of criticizing Generals we should ask for an inquiry about the money politicians received from ISI and re-open the file against Mr. Khar for his involvement with RAW.
Do you remember the American prosecuter bemoaning the fact that the CIA had paid Pakistani officials an amount of dollers for handing over the luckless Aimal Kansi may he RIP without any due process of law of the beloved land ? Sir, Do you call your father by name? If no then why do you write Jinnah to our Great Baba e Qoum Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah? And for your information Zia ul Haq was a punjabi who was settled in Balouchistan.
Well in my view, we should put on trial all these Generals for treason and then they should serve the strictest of penalties there is, these people are a disgrace to themselves and the nation. First, they themselves act as the collaborators or at the least condone all this to happen in the first place and then years later turn out on the media to spill out national secrets and make a mockery of Pakistan on the international stage!
If they simply did not have the Guts to speak out at the hour when such decisions were made then years later they have no right to turn back on their own words and portray themselves as saints and kick dirt at those who are still sitting up there. These retired generals are liable just as much as the others. Turning up on media a few years later won’t change the fact of the damage they have caused to our country of the years. In a nut shell, they should have the guts to stand up for whats right now or else shut up for good and take these secrets and ills they have committed into their graves and wither in there with them and sleep an uneasy eternal life. Period!
The only leader I found with a vision is Imran Khan . Someone wrongly said that he supported Musharraf to become PM. Please note rthat he was offered premiership by Zia-Ul-Haq. Initially Imran Khan supported Musharraf becuse when Musharraf illegaly and unconstitutionally dethroned Nawaz Sharif and became the Chief executive on 12th October, 1999 he said in his very first speech that Rule of Law will be the Top-Most Priority on my agenda, which was set aside later on. Musharraf was the biggest liar and hpocrite (the word Munafiq is more appropriate for Musharraf type of Value-less people having morally- bankrupt family background). Lately when Imran realized that Musharraf is only a BUGGER ASS-HOLE it was the point of time he was against Musharraf.
Being a Pakistani I think we should analyze and recall that who has been the greatest benficiary for the last 62 years. I would say the one who has remained mostly in power sfaguarding their vested interests for the sake of others. The damage that Musharraf has caused to the country generally and to the social and moral values of the general public specifically is unpardonable. In the name of ENLIGHTENED MODERATION he made a deal with the Americans to handover innocent people. Where is MQM on the issue of AAFIA SIDDIQUI. Had it been the case of MUSHARRAF’s own daughter sleeping with Haalbrooke or RICHARD ARMITAGE then he (MUSHARRAF) must have realized what actually the word INTEGRITY of the Nation hold sor. He sold the integrity of the nation when Aafia Siddiqui was undressed in front of American Soldiers in the name of nude search. At that I prayed if it were Musharraf’s daughter then I would’ve asked Musharraf that do you still believe in such ENLIGHTENED MODERATION.
Not only that he:
1) ABROGATED the CONSTITUTION;
2) Made a mockery of the Judiciary by creating DOGAR COURTS and annihilating the very edifice of judiciary
3) Just to prolong his TYRANNIC RULE and self-created supremacy he handed over more than 20,000 Pakistanis to American who are called MISSING PERSONS
4) Killed more than 3,000 innocent girls and boys students and later in a very Shameful and INGLORIOUS manner accepted that those who killed in LAL MASJID were only around 150 students
5) Pissed off Pakistan by allowing Americans Drone Attacks on our soils. The bugger bastard had no courage to look into the eyes of Americans; and LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST
6) Gave benefit through NRO to more than 2,000 criminals of MQM including ALTAF HUSSAIN …….the MAFIA LEADER and PEER QADYANI HAQ PARAST and also allowed people of the calibre of ZARDARI who were known throughout the world as MR 10% and 20% respectively during different era.
