Comments on: Judicial Inquiry Ordered Against Malik Riaz of Bahria Town

i am a civil servant. i was posted as tax officer in islamabad and jurisdiction of bahria town given to me. case of bahria town was selected for audit for 2006. for this year bahria town purchaed land for rs. nine billion which he was to prove with documentary evidence as expense. i called the evidence for teh purchase of land at rs. 9 billion. his accountant was hesitant and didn’t respond to letter. inpite of repeated reminders no evidence was produced. later on, he went to my director general and asked him to favour his case. my DG called me and tried to get favour with the admission that bahria town accountant has admitted that they don’t posses the evidence of nine billion. i plainly refused and also asked DG in the presence of his accountant that it is big crime and we must take legal action on it and also report to NAB as well as punjab govt fo recovery o f provincial taxes. at this my DG got blunt and asked me to leave his room. this happended on 25.5.2009 and on 04.06.2009 jurisdiction of bahria town transferred and i was transferred on 05.6.2009. my successor investigated further and it was found that evidence of only 3 billion available but amount claimed was 9 billion. on balance 6 billion tax implication of around 2 billion involved. my successor was also transferred and now the case has been settled with charge of tax of only 50 lakh.
later on i was transferred to HQ and a murder attempt was also made on me by dislodging the screws of tie rod of my car to give it the shape of an accident. fortunately i escaped an accident on 31.12.2009 and also lodged a complaint before chairman agaisnt unknown persons who ordered an inquiry but report still awaited.
it is an irony that who steal billions in taxes expose themselves as Hatim Tai by launching dastar khawans for poor people. in other words he is giving right of people(due taxes) in the form of charity. there is no calculation how much tax he has evaded foe other years also. i bacame of vicitim of all of my superiors due to my refusal to accomodate him on illegal grounds. all this happened under the nose of head of department. he spends million in charity for show-off and steals billions in taxes. if he pays the due taxes he will be unable to find a single person in his dastar khawan.

Malik riaz is like a beggar in our country who has no feeling of guilty while grabbing the land of orphan,widows and poor.I think that we people should give our zakat,sadqahs,kherat to him and his family so that they must stop cruelity.He is just like a pharoan but will soon reach its grave where no body can help him and he is accountable there.
His land director haji amjad performs haj every year at the cost of grabbing the lands of orphan,widows and poor.
Pakistan army must be ashamed for supporting this goof.Our corrupt generals are like his personal servants.

Are you saying there should not a judicial enquiry or we should not talk about that enquiry. On one side you posing yourself very neutral but you have no sympathy to murdered man. what a justice………………..
Every dog will have its day sooner or later.
State has the right to acquire the land for public projects but no private developer have similar right in pakistan. Do you have justification how he amassed such a huge land bank without any ‘Establishment’ backing.
If he is such a clean businessman and he has built his business on a truthful foundation why not he export his business to other country.
I am astonished to read your post. A court can see the grounds for enquiry and you don’t allow people to discuss and even then you claim you don’t have any relation to MRH.

Either you are a naive, a simpleton or a complete nitwit for not being able to understand what I originally expressed as my opinion.
I request you to read it again & DO NOT JUST JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS.
For your betterment, please allow me to suggest that please don’t join a discussion which you CANNOT NOT COMPREHEND/UNDERSTAND.
For your kind information, I am not the one BLAMING Malik Riaz Hussain with a false identity or showing a false user name; nor I am defending him.
I am sure that you are not a moron, not to understand that ’sabazbagh’ is just a ‘user-name’ like hundred & thousand of others, which thus cannot be at all a REAL NAME; or are you serious?
Your comment that ‘You are blaming people of what you are doing yourself’ IS COMPLETELY ‘ wide off the mark’ or say, highly inaccurate, incorrect & wrong.
Please be clear, as I REPEAT here again, that I never ever blamed Malik Riaz of any wrong-doing.
For the last time, I repeat again that we should all fear ALLAH, & let us NOT BLAME anybody, without that person being heard by a court of law; because in the eyes of law, everybody is INNOCENT until proved GUILTY.

Please allow me to submit that I repeat here that neither do I know this ‘Malik Riaz’ nor I have ever met him; THEN why should I get angry, because for your kind information he is neither my friend nor a relation.
Dont you think that somebody, somewhere seems to be hiding his/her REAL IDENTITY, because any guy by now would have gone to a court of law against him.
I hope you do realize that it’s not sufficient if a judge just asks people to report to him if they have anything to say.
I think you very well know that starting 1951, many high-profile political murders took place in Pakistan, starting with that of Liaqat Ali Khan & later followed by that of Zia-ul-Haq, Z.A.Bhutto, & now lately of Benazir?

Dont you then think, that:-
1. Since then a lot many Pakistanis had ‘a great lot’ of information so to tell their part of the stories to a court of law?
2. Since then did not the Pakistani courts also ‘HOPEFULLY’ WAITED for the same LONG TIME for the ‘insiders’ to come forward, as you imply?

BUT so far, has ANYBODY told their stories before a court? Naturally, your answer has to be a big ‘NO.’
Then how many more years, will the courts have to WAIT for ‘what comes out of this’ as you say?
Isn’t now almost 58 years, since Liaqat Ali Khan was killed?
Do you think that ‘witnesses’ will live ‘perpetually’ & ‘wait’ for next hundreds of years, to tell their stories? the answer is obviously, CERTAINLY NOT !

our media must point out these black sheeps.our media is free only to criticize politicians.

hasankhan on payroll of zardari is doing a very lousy job of defending him. I think zardari probably could not get a better corrupt brain on this occasion. he could have engaged Hussain American Haqqani for it as well.

I wonder if any proceedings start against Malik Riaz! because the law is only for poor and the priviliged one are exonerated. He can take benefit of NRO being politically victimized.

I neither know Malik Riaz nor the poster with the name Sabzbagh. I never even heard of Malik Riaz before this. But it is true that people made huge money in property frauds. This does not mean that every person who is related to this business is a fraud and Malik Riaz should be given a chance to defend him. I believe that some of the points that Sabzbagh raised should be answered which I do as follows:

Well now you have a case against him in court. Names and other details of such people must be available in court. Nevertheless, in a country like Pakistan Ordinary people can’t defend themselves even against an Ordinary police officer like ASI or SHO. How can you expect people to come out in open aginst a person who has substantial influence in Pakistan. However, modren technology has given an opportunity to people to raise their voice against anybody.

I am sure that Sabzbagh is not your real name. I have never heard such a name. You are blaming people of what you are doing yourself.

It is hard to understand why you are defending him. You mentioned that you neither know Malik Riaz nor you ever met him. Then why you are defending him. Either you are associated with him or you have been benifited by him or you honestly believe that he is a gentleman. If you believe that he is a gentleman you must have some reason to believe that. But then again you say that you don’t know him, in that case how you can honestly believe that he is a gentleman.

May Allah help Malik Riaz and exalt him if he is gentleman and is being victimized for some reason. If he is a goon and has been cruel to innocent people then Allah’s punishment is severe. Allah knows the best.

aap aisay hi ghussay main aa gay hain. everyone over here is just discussing about the Judicial enquiry that has already been ordered and was just reported by admin of this site. I am sure admin of this site is not hiding his ID here and doesnt need to be revealed again. and as per your wish supreme court has already asked people to report to District and Session judges if they have anything to say. So hopefully people will show up surely with their IDs along with their stories. we got to wait what comes up out of this.
