Question to Mr. HM, do we have democracy today? It is 101% true, to save this government, government should give good governance, end of corrouptions (become honest with the system) and give relief in their daily necessities to the common men, plus take the decisions in our country’s interest only. I gaurantee you nobody can move their government and again they will be voted by the public for next terms. But unfortunately sense “akal” of our politicians comes back only once they are not in the government. like Shiekh Rashid.
The current situation in the country has more to do with events in Afghanistan & that Karzai is President once again and Kayani’s insistence on strategic depth & his perception the government is soft on the Americans. He is worried that the US may not be departing Afghanistan. Also his meetings with Hillary did not go off as well as he’d expected – she was not a push over – even though she has expressed her own preference for a lighter footprint in Afghanistan – no US secretary of State will allow her own opinions to color State Policy.
All the pressure being applied is to send Z a signal.
