If the point is to educate the youth, then talk more with historians and political scientists so explain clearly and simply what Iqbal wanted.
The question about what Iqbal can teach youngsters today wasn’t really answered as well.
The questions to the politicians about implementing Iqbal’s vision were answered meekly and HM did not really follow-up. I guess he didn’t want accusatory stuff on this day so kept a ‘hola haath’.
I saw Dunya TV’s Special with Dr. Israr and Dr. Javed Iqbal. It was a better programme though still below expectations. Orya is himself such a knowledgeable guy, I don’t know if he himself did a documentary sort of a thing.
Let me also take this opportunity to ask the ‘admins’ to try and be more open and flexibel regarding programme ‘capture’. I know it is not possible to do 24/7 thing but on special occasions like today, they could perhaps make an extra effort to record the special telecasts…such as on Iqbal and his message. Would be really great.

Mr. Hamid Mir, please do one program on Sindh and invite only Sindhi journalists. I am really worried after we saw a big rally in Karachi by JSQM. Youths from all over Sindh came to Karachi to attend this rally. JSQM is asking freedom from Pakistan. The whole nation needs to listen to Sindh’s issues from Sindhis. It is true Sindhis were always treated 2nd class citizens in Karachi. I’ve seen it because I grew up in Pakistan.

In ideal world Pakistan was a progressive liberal and modern state but in real world it is theocratic, bureaucratic and security state. The security state where those who contribute to consolidate the state with ” Pakistan Khapy” have been targeted and Pakistan Na Khapey powers are getting stronger. The security state where leader who served this country with best for the security was hanged, and his daughter was first decleared security risk and then killed.
