I think it was irresponsible on the part of Kamran Khan ( & Geo News Team) to put Corruption Report of Transparency Internatinal as news item #3. May be, at this crucial stage, the Management of Geo TV do not want to take any risk which might result in the closure of Geo TV. Kamran KHAN should have fired at Zardari with full blast for getting involved in latest Corruption Scandals ( such as Submarines Case).
As we all know that during the last election (of Feb 2007), media was under pressure from Musharraf to be very kind to Benazir ( and Zardari) under the terms of NRO. Hence most of the achors (including Kamran Khan) kept calling Benazir and other family members of Bhutto as Shaheed. The media is still not strong enough, because they fear closures (and heavy loss of business Revnue). I think the chamcha anchors are not doing a great service to democracy, because by praising Zardari/Bhutto family…….the rewards are much higher.
Also I have noticed that the media is even more kind to Yusuf R Gilani, and I see the PM just as wicked and cunning as Zardari……..because this PM has very clevely protected Zardari so far.
People like Zardari and Rehman Malik, can’t give us peace but they are much successful to gain “something” for their future. They belongs to luxurious families and don’t know the real problems of common peoples. I am sure Allah is not happy with us, that’s why such corrupt and drunk persons have been imposed on us.
