Fauzia only Bilawal Zardari can carry forward PPP legacy but NM replied so you don’t trust other people in the party, now make from that what you want but to me it means this democracy-dictatorship is only for the family of the current heads of the major parties. The crime was done straight after the death of BB when the PPP accepted Zardari and son as joint chairman.
Sad state of affairs when we have to import another possible future prime minister. They cut 2 minutes of when NM was asking Fauzia about Mr 10% dementia problems. In regards to the WAR OF TERROR they only gave it a political umbrella other then that things are getting worse on the security front in regards to human loss.
Political parties in sub-continent are dynasty. The main party leaders are like the owners of the party.Political parties in Pakistan do not go through democratic process with in the party.Main leaders are life time office bearers,no body can challenge them.So when political parties talk about democracy first they should adopt democratic process in their parties before expecting to have real essence of democracy in the country.
Fozia Wahab is always fun to watch. Her mannerism is very interesting she argue like a woman fight with another woman. She never has any thing reasonable to say.All PPP leaders come up with just one argument that it is a conspiracy against democracy and peoples party. When Anjum Niaz said that the blame is coming from foreign media not Pakistani and why wont PPP sue French news paper if the blame is untrue Fozia Wahab did not utter a single word i response. It clearly shows that Zardari has accepted kick backs.
PPP call herself the champion of democracy but Sheikh Rashid said that military out of Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Gillani picked Gillani as prime minister and Fozia Wahab did not deny that.It is shame that Bey Nazir PPP accepted a military chosen prime minister. What kind of democracy is this?
Pakistan is may be the only country in the world with exception of African countries where government despite of all kind of corruption charges stay in the government feel no shame and call it a media trial.Politicians of Pakistan shamelessly lie to people.
French parliament has demanded to investigate the accusation of kickbacks to Zardari and other Pakistani,s.If French authorities investigate this matter it will be very interesting and if the out come is positive it will be very interesting to see what Fozia Wahab has to say about it.There is a lesson for Pakistan Government in this news that France is a country accused to pay kickbacks and they are investigating this matter we are on the receiving end and there is no inquiry against any body that who might have accepted the money.
Our politicians are always in the state of denial they never accept their mistakes.I do not know any political leader who confessed that he or she was wrong. Our politicians have justifications of worst crimes committed by them.I understand that there must be some exaggeration about Zardari crimes but there must be lot of truth behind it.How it is possible that every blame is a lie and untrue.PPP leadership should be reasonable in its behavior because they already not very popular.
Our politicians are so busy amassing money as much as they can does not matter how it comes as long it comes. They do not have time to see where they were wrong and when.It is not their problem.
Out of the total list of around 6,000 beneficiaries of National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO), the number of the beneficiaries of National Accountability Bureau cases stood at around 300 and in that list of 300, the mainstream politicians are just 30.
The sources in the National Accountability Bureau informed TheNation that the list of the NRO beneficiaries of NAB cases was around 300 out of that total 6,000.
They further informed that National Accountability Bureau had already given the list of the NAB cases withdrawn under NRO to the Federal Law Ministry. They told that the main cases withdrawn under the NRO were of criminal nature and the major beneficiaries belonged to Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM). It is pertinent to mention here that the Sindh Home Department officials confirmed that around 3,700 cases were withdrawn under the NRO and most of the cases were instituted on charges of criminal nature.
Above report shows how Pervez Musharaf favored MQM criminals through NRO.Majority of the MQM workers was involved in murders and other serious crimes. How in the world these cases were politically motivated.

it suits Nawaz Sharif to have Zardari there until such time as the restriction on a third prime ministerial term is removed. It serves his purpose to have a vulnerable and defeated president who melts under pressure. Besides, his brother is the chief minister of Punjab, which is the true power base of Pakistan and for which reason there is no compulsion to rush things.
So all is hunky-dory with the major players in the political field, but what is the fate of the nation?
Article by Mumtaz Bhutto is very interesting in THENEWS today.Every body should read it.
MUCH to the shame of every decent Pakistani, the country’s leadership continues to take Pakistan down the slippery slope of increasing corruption. Over sixty years have passed and instead of arresting the trend of corruption our successive rulers have made it worse with each passing decade. Transparency International (TI) has pinpointed the habitual handicaps we are afflicted with – from financial misdoings to lack of governance to a total absence of transparency. The TI report refers to the well-known scams and mismanagement in many public bodies like Pakistan Steel Mills, PSO, KESC, DHAs and so on. Nor are the land scams forgotten including unauthorised allotments by nazims and the well-known harassment by land mafias. The people continue to get oppressed while the elite continues to fatten up its ill-gotten resources. And no end seems in sight at all – in fact, as the TI report points out we are getting worse. Ironically, TI also points to the fact that the anti-corruption drive took a nosedive after Musharraf issued the NRO, just 56 days after the ratification of the UN Convention against corruption.
Following is a excerption of a very interesting article in THENATION it tells the inside story of PPP government power struggle.
The President needs to get his perspective right. By sticking to the constitutional distortions, he is posing a serious threat to democracy. Unfortunately, the only ray of hope, Prime Minister Gilani, has not lived up to the people’s expectation in terms of asserting his authority. His besetting sin is that he has been running with the hare and hunting with the hounds, thanks to his confusion. On one day he makes up his mind that the presidential powers must be clipped but on the very next he plays the devil’s advocate, trying to convince the nation that there was no need to do so.
Most embarassing news I think when it appears in Jang today that Rs 165 billion rupee were swindled by fat cats and NRO has forgiven them everything. How this injustice could be done to the poor people, who are die due to hunger and poverty.
Defending Bilawal appears to be such a shame. Even Fauzia, maybe a non serious character, but after spending a long time in the party, which I think would be definitely longer than the age of Bilawal, these stupid people say, he is the best.
Where is Aftab Shaban Merani or other old veterans of PPP. They don’t have anyone to take this responsibility.
Even more stupid answer of Fauzia Wahab when she says “they trust him” so NM right asked her you don’t trust other party leaders, where she was dumb. This family run parties will not give us democracy. They don’t have democracy in their own parties.
Poor and corrupt political elite was unable to mange things well otherwise this situation one crisis leading to another could have been avoided. They all know ho wto make some quick bucks but don’t have any heart to feel for those poor folks who elect them.
Politicians like Nawaz who are popular but have no wisdom and commitment with the cause of masses either. Maulanas’ are worst type of corrupt. So, who will serve the nation, I think its a big issue right now. You can’t trust those generals who fought american-funded wars during 80s or this stupid war on terro that led to destruction of Pakistani towns and cities.
Philip Saltiel, a New York City-based psychiatrist, said in a March 2007 diagnosis that Mr Zardari’s imprisonment had left him suffering from “emotional instability” and memory and concentration problems. “I do not foresee any improvement in these issues for at least a year,” Mr Saltiel wrote.
Stephen Reich, a New York state-based psychologist, said Mr Zardari was unable to remember the birthdays of his wife and children, was persistently apprehensive and had thought about suicide.
Good discussion. Fauzia was defensive on the issue of Bilawal. No justification to have him as party chairman in the presence of senior lot, which really deserves. Beta chairman, baap co-chairman. Kuch sharm nahi in logon ko.
Sirf zardari ko kyon kostay hein.
Take the case of Shah Memood qureshi. Baap Foreign Minsiter, negotiating a controversial aid Kerry-Lugar bill, beta working in office of John Kerry. Sab besharm hein. Hussain haqqani agent of cia working as ambassador, his wife was elected mna on reserve seat and keeps an eye on zardari. Mukhdoom amin fahim was quick to get a job for her daghter.
Its a never ending story.
Zardari & Co., should not forget, this very same media fought and critised against the military man Mush in power. I gree with the people who are saying that first fix “roti, kapra aur makkan” problems and make it in the reach of common men. People at top have filled their homes with money, but for the public they need more time, by looking at the government’s performance I doubt very much that any way public will be better off monetarywise!! “amal ka daaro madaar niyaton per hey” and I doubt their “niyat” very much.
Very sad that PPP government has done nothing to encounter india’s anti-Pakistan propoganda on international media level and their Ambassadors are bussy in their personal gains, instead for Pakistan and it’s public’s benefit.
Simply as that you do for public’s (visibal) benefit, this awaam will never let you down, and no one can send you home. But first bring, roti kapra, makaan, electric, gas, cng, lpg, deisel price for Buses and other common men’s usage items in to the reach (moneywise) of common men. It is give and take, you give us facilities in our lives and we give you vote.

That was a big punch when sheikh rashid said Gilani as PM was approved by the army. This is real status of mr. gilani for mr. 10 perecent
