can amyone shed a light on a entity called Zahid Hamid, i have seen his videos in which he is brainwashing youngsters and projecting himself as a saviour , and the worrying thing is youth is overwhelmingly following him

This is one of the draw back of free and vast media that every zaid, bakar found his way to easily sneak into it and start his own propaganda. I thought he is the latest version of abne safi or mazhar kalim but you are right he is using dual or may be quadruple processor and nasim hijazi is the main one.

  3. i think comparing Zaid Hamid with Naseem hijazi is bit harsh rather … injustice … naseem hijazi just tried to taught us our history … glorious one and .. zaid hamid is teching us future … in his own way …

In it, up to our necks

Yet, barely nine days after their ‘fury’ had been vented on us ‘bloody civilians’, the commander US Centcom came a-calling, in which meeting the COAS Pakistan Army, conveniently forgetting the ‘fury’ he and his fellow generals felt at the wording of the aid bill, by now called the KLL for it had become US law, asked for early shipment of ‘sophisticated weapons’ for the fight against terror!

Thanks I have read that before, my concern with this man is that he is projecting himself as a saviour; I had the liberty of watching his videos posted aggressively on the facebook, you tube and even in emails by his followers in which he is promoting hatred with his infuriated, emotional speeches, his pictures are allover the internet in the backdrop of pakistani flag and quad e azam and the irony is, a lot of youngsters are following him. He looks like to me he is our version of Hitler, he is following the same nationalism slogan and same fury speeches. I think if this menace is not stopped earlier it can create some serious problems.

This is in response to Shimatoree’s propaganda article regarding Islamic Divorce as he has blocked my access to his blog.
Shandana; Ask Shimatore to upload police report which states that ayesha’s allegations are not true. Though I am sure that shimatore does not have any moral courage to reveal the truth.
This is non-criminal case and this is matter of civil court contrary to shimatore’s propaganda. This is word of mouth of this characterless woman that she was kicked and she went into preterm labor. Firstly, son was born in October 2005 not in November. There is no medical report in support of her allegations. This deceitful woman just made this allegation after more than 3 and half years after birth of son in June 2009 in an attempt to make her domestic violence case stronger to get U.S immigration. Medical reports at the time of birth clearly states that child was born’ full term without any complications’. Ask Shimarotee to upload any medical report suggesting that there was any evidence of abuse before birth of child or preterm labour??? Shame on you liars.

Shandana; I wrote everything very clearly for those who want to understand. Ayesha failed driving tests 4 years ago when her husband brought her to America. Once her husband taught her how to drive and provided all kind of facilities and freedom, she got the wings and never stopped flying and ultimately lost her way.

I would request all readers to pray that May Allah Subhan Watala reveal the truth and punish the liars. He is the best Judge. He does not need any witnesses or proofs because he knows everything. This is not his way to punish sinners right away. Sometimes He gives time which we don’t understand.

  7. shandana says:

    @sadia86 aka Dr. Shahzad

I feel so sorry for you, what a pity… you see every body (well not exactly but close) beats his wife but nothing happens… damn this KAFIR country USA….
This place is satanic; it turns good Pakistani women into bad Pakistani women. Of course good women are those who never object when you beat them.

You better leave USA at once and make sure that your IMAN is secure.

  8. zia m says:

    @sadia86
You mentioned God does not need any witnesses.Yes He does, witness of 2 women equal to witness of 1 man.Do you think this may give men a false sense of superiority over women?
It is really pathetic on your part to accuse the victim just to keep your iman intact.
Most of the domestic violence cases don’t go to the court because women
don’t want to press charges against their husbands.Only cases of extreme transgression come to the surface and this may be one of those cases.

Now you want CREDIT for being a good driving instructor !

or transplanting wings to make them fly

Are you a flying instructor too !

This is in response to Hypocrite shimatoree’ propaganda article regarding Islamic Divorce.
Following is the link regarding ‘Domestic Violence against Men’. This is from Oregon state of America. This tells that domestic violence against men is common in America. And why it is especially difficult for men to prove that given current U.S laws. This is not surprising, why it is easy for abusive wife like Ayesha shahzad to turn table on her husband.

This is to keep in mind that domestic violence against women is more common in Pakistan but that is under reported and it is less common in America in comparison but this is over reported here due to false accusations and the cause is favorable laws for women in USA and feminist indoctrination. And domestic violence against men is not common in Pakistan but it is common in America.

Minaret ban just the beginning? Swiss politician seeks ban on Jewish, Muslim cemeteries

    NY Daily News

    BY Neil Nagraj

On the heels of a ban on minarets at mosques, one Swiss politician is proposing to extend government intrusion into religious matters beyond the grave.

In a television interview two days after the passage of the minaret ban, Christophe Darbelly, head of the Christian Democratic People’s Party of Switzerland, called for a ban on separate cemeteries for Muslims and Jews, according to a report on JTA.org.

Existing cemeteries would not be affected by the ban, Darbelly reportedly said. The Web site reports his plan would, however, prohibit the construction of separate cemeteries in the future.

The pol also has called for a ban on burkas, according to reports posted in an online Swiss newspaper, JTA.org writes.

The Swiss ban on minarets at mosques – approved by nearly 60% of Swiss voters – sparked global shock and condemnation, with many saying Switzerland has irreparably harmed its long-held reputation as a bastion of tolerance.

Ukrainian kids, new victims of Israeli ‘organ theft’

    Press TV

An international Israeli conspiracy to kidnap children and harvest their organs is gathering momentum as another shocking story divulges Tel Aviv’s plot to import Ukrainian children and harvest their organs.

The story brings to light the fact that Israel has brought some 25,000 Ukrainian children into the occupied entity over the past two years in order to harvest their organs. It cites a Ukrainian man’s fruitless search for 15 children who had been adopted in Israel. The children had clearly been taken by Israeli medical centers, where they were used for ‘spare parts’.

The account was unveiled five days ago by a Ukrainian philosophy professor and author, Vyacheslav Gudin, at a pseudo-academic conference in the Ukrainian capital, Kiev. Gudin told an estimated 300 attendees of the Kiev conference that it was essential that all Ukrainians be made aware of the genocide Israel was perpetrating.

The conference also featured two professors who presented a book blaming “the Zionists” for the Ukrainian famine of the 1930s, as well as the country’s current condition.

Meanwhile, Ukrainians demonstrated outside the Israeli Embassy in Kiev on Tuesday to protest a letter signed by 26 Knesset members (MKs) condemning what they described as anti-Semitic remarks by presidential candidate Sergey Ratushnyak. Protesters chanted ‘Ukraine isn’t the Gaza Strip,’ suggesting that they consider the effort by the Israeli MKs as an intervention in their country.

A story, published in the Arabic-language Algerian daily al-Khabar in September, reported that Interpol, the international police organization, has revealed the existence of ‘a Jewish gang’ that was ‘involved in the abduction of children from Algeria and trafficking of their organs.’

According to the story, bands of Moroccans and Algerians had been roaming the streets of Algerian cities in an attempt to hunt around for young children. They then trafficked the kids across the border into the neighboring Morocco.

The children were then sold to Israelis and American Jews in Oujda, the capital of eastern Morocco, for the purpose of organ harvest in Israel and the United States.

The story is based on statements made by Mustafa Khayatti, head of the Algerian National Committee for the Development of Health Research. Khayatti maintains that the abduction of children in Algeria is linked to arrests made in New York and New Jersey at the end of July, in which several Jewish men were among the 44 arrested in connection to an investigation into illegal organ trafficking and political corruption.

The story comes in line with the article published last month in Aftonbladet, Sweden’s largest circulation daily, suggesting that the Israeli army kidnapped and killed young Palestinians to harvest their organs. It shed light on the case of Bilal Ahmed Ghanem, a 19-year-old Palestinian man, who was shot dead in 1992 by Israeli forces in the West Bank village of Imatin.

Bostrom, who witnessed the man’s killing, said Ghanem’s body was abducted following the shooting and was returned at midnight, during an imposed curfew, several days later by the Israeli military with a cut from the stomach to the neck that had been stitched up.

Bostrom argued that an autopsy would be required if the cause of death was not apparent, while in this case it was clear that Bilal was shot dead.

After that incident, at least 20 Palestinian families told Bostrom that they suspected that the Israeli military had taken the organs of their sons after they had been killed and then taken away by Israeli forces before being dropped back in the area.

    America to collapse in 2010
Russian Professor Igor Panarin says that events are continuing to confirm his doomsday prediction first made over 10 years ago, that the United States will completely collapse like the Soviet Union before the end of 2010, and warns that the chaos could begin to unfold in as little as two months. Panarin, doctor of political sciences and professor of the Russian Diplomatic Academy Ministry of Foreign Affairs, told journalists during the unveiling of his new book that President Obama has done nothing to forestall the fast approaching crisis. “Obama is “the president of hope”, but in a year there won’t be any hope,” said Panarin. “He’s practically another Gorbachev – he likes to talk but hasn’t really managed to do anything. Gorbachev at least had been a secretary of a regional communist party administration, whereas Obama was just a social worker. His mentality is totally different. He’s a nice person and talks nicely – but he’s not a leader and will take America to a crash. When Americans understand that – it will be like a bomb explosion.”

Muslims should pull their money out of Swiss bank accounts
Muslims should consider withdrawing their money from Swiss bank accounts in response to the country’s ban on construction of minarets, a Turkish minister said. “I am certain this (vote) will prompt our brothers from Muslim countries who keep their money and investments in Swiss banks to review their decision,” said Egemen Bagis, cited by Turkish daily Zaman. Bagis is the chief negotiator for Turkey’s European Union accession as well as minister for European affairs.

    Dubai’s prime companies declared junk
International ratings agency Standard & Poor’s said it had cut the credit ratings of six Dubai government-linked companies. S&P said it had taken the move after the likelihood of extraordinary support from the Dubai government appeared “low” after the emirate indicated it would not guarantee the debt of Dubai World currently at $59 billion, its flagship conglomerate. The six Dubai government-related entities (GREs) lowered to junk status were DP World, DIFC Investments, Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai Multi Commodities Centre Authority, Dubai Holding Commercial Operations Group and Emaar Properties PJSC. Their credit ratings remain under surveillance and could be downgraded further, the agency said.

French troops bribe Taliban in exchange for safety
French troops deployed in Afghanistan are attempting to bribe Taliban fighters not to attack them, a senior Taliban leader has told Al Jazeera. In an interview, Saif-Allah Jalili, the Taliban commander of the Kabul district, said on Monday that his men have been offered gifts and money by the French soldiers in order to persuade the fighters not to engage their forces. “The French in Sorubi [in Nangarhar province in eastern Afghanistan] tried to send gifts to Taliban fighters and offered them a lot of money in return for not launching attacks targeting the French troops,” Jalili said. “But Taliban fighters replied by rejecting everything and by strongly demanding the departure of the French troops and all other troops from our country, which they invaded by force,” he said. The Taliban claim comes only a month after Italian troops in the same area were accused of paying off Taliban fighters to keep the area calm.

Obama’s new strategy points to an expansions of America’s war against Pakistan
Obama’s Afghan strategy is quickly turning into an official proclamation of war on Pakistan. ‘What happens in Pakistan … will do more to determine the outcome in Afghanistan than any increase in troops or shift in strategy,’ said Sen. John Kerry, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Opening a hearing on Afghan strategy, Kerry, a Democrat, said that it is the ‘presence of al-Qaida in Pakistan, its direct ties to and support from the Taliban in Afghanistan and the perils of an unstable, nuclear-armed Pakistan that drive our mission’. Sen. Richard Lugar, the committee’s top Republican, chimed in, saying the president and his administration ‘must justify their plan not only on the basis of how it will affect Afghanistan, but also on how it will impact our efforts to promote a much stronger alliance with Pakistan.’ Lugar said ‘it is not clear how an expanded military effort in Afghanistan addresses the problem of Taliban and al-Qaida safe havens across the border in Pakistan.’ Both Gates and Mullen sought to underscore the threat that al-Qaida poses in Pakistan, which maintains its own arsenal of nuclear weapons. Gates said he considered the dangers to be greater than they were 18 months ago because al-Qaida has become ‘deeply involved’ with Taliban forces operating inside Pakistan that are trying to destabilize the government there. Mullen said al-Qaida’s pursuit of nuclear weapons and interest in Pakistan is ‘extraordinarily dangerous.’

Zardari’s regime collaborates with America in her campaign of explosions and assassinations

    Friday, 04 December 2009 22:05 Hizb-ut-Tahrir, Wilayah Pakistan

    بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Pakistan has been rocked by a campaign of criminal explosions that have targeted women, children, students, elderly, police and the armed forces, as its armed forces are engaged in the tribal areas of Waziristan. And whilst Muslims around the world enjoyed the blessings of Eid, tens of thousands of Muslims in Waziristan slept under bare skies, in freezing cold, ravaged by hunger. However, contrary to the many claims of the Zardari regime, this campaign of bombings and target killings is orchestrated by America, in order to secure the help of Pakistan’s armed forces for its occupation in Afghanistan.

America has always depended on Pakistan’s strength, energetic people and capable armed forces to secure its ambitions for the highly strategic Afghanistan, the gateway to Central Asia and its immense energy resources, as well as a major front against America’s competitors, China and Russia. When her rival superpower at the time, Soviet Russia, invaded Afghanistan, America depended upon Pakistan’s intelligence personnel to lead the Muslims of the tribal areas, most prominently Waziristan, to end Russian occupation finally and decisively. Then, when America itself wanted to invade and occupy Afghanistan, this was only possible because American bombers were launched from Pakistan’s airbases, American forces were guided by Pakistan’s intelligence and fuelled and fed by Pakistan’s logistics capability.

It is today that America is in most dire need for Pakistan’s armed forces because she has been completely shaken in Afghanistan, by years of unrelenting attacks launched from the tribal areas. America’s own armed forces, which lack in bravery what they possess of sophisticated weapons, have been unable to subdue poorly-armed Muslims from the tribal areas, particularly Waziristan. As for America’s European allies, they are calling for decisive withdrawal of their armed forces from Afghanistan, whilst a stunned Obama administration repeatedly debates over sending even more US soldiers.

Adding to its woes in a most fragile situation, America faces unprecedented feelings of opposition within Pakistan’s armed forces, feelings which are deeply rooted within the entire Islamic Ummah at this time. In his influential article that was circulated within America’s ruling factions in November 2009, called “Defending the Arsenal-In an unstable Pakistan, can nuclear warheads be kept safe?,” senior establishment journalist, Seymour M. Hersh said, “But the Taliban overrunning Islamabad is not the only, or even the greatest, concern. The principal fear is mutiny – that extremists inside the Pakistani military might stage a coup … A senior Obama Administration official brought up Hizb ut Tahrir, a Sunni organization whose goal is to establish the Caliphate (Khilafah). “They’ve penetrated the Pakistani military and now have cells in the Army.”” Indeed, it is these Islamic feelings that are the cause of unprecedented refusals and resignations related to operations in the tribal areas, from within the armed forces, from the time of Musharraf until now.

So, in order to incite Pakistan’s armed forces to fight in Waziristan, America employed lowly tactics to discredit the Muslim resistance. US private military organizations, that supervised explosions and assassinations in Iraq and Afghanistan, now undertake their activities in Pakistan. And US intelligence has infiltrated some elements of the loosely gathered Taleban fighters, enticing some of them to turn their weapons away from the crusader occupying forces and onto their Muslim brothers in the armed forces.

Yet, America’s campaign of explosions and assassinations would never have been possible, if it were not for Zardari’s regime. Zardari’s regime secured offices, arms depots and safe houses for US intelligence and private military organizations, including the Pearl Continental Hotel in Peshawar and the Sahalah Police Training Institute, which is now an ammunition depot for Americans, where even its Pakistani commandant is not allowed to enter specific areas of his own institute. Zardari’s regime protects the movements of the Americans as they go about their mischief. As an example, Zardar’s regime secured the release of four Americans, who were arrested in Islamabad, carrying weapons and cameras, driving a car with fake number plate, disguised as Afghanis. And Zardari’s regime even tries to cover up the existence of the Americans by lying. The Interior Minister, Rahman Malik, emphatically insisted that there is no organization called Blackwater in Pakistan, even though he is fully aware that the new name for Blackwater is Xe Services LLC and it is now operating in Pakistan, thanks to his government.

With America orchestrating a campaign of explosions and assassinations, it is now no surprise that in Peshawar, hundreds of women and children were targeted in the attack on Meena Bazaar, rather than the US private military organizations in Peshawar. Nor is it unexpected that US intelligence in Islamabad are left untouched but the pious Muslim sons and daughters studying at the Shariah Department of the Islamic University are blown to pieces. And with the kuffar at the helm of this chaos, it is to be expected that ulema and army officers are assassinated, whilst US intelligence and mercenaries are free to roam uninterrupted.

As yet another service for America, to incite the Pakistan armed forces to fight on America’s behalf, Zardari’s regime raises hue and cry about Indian elements infiltrating from Afghanistan into the tribal areas. However, before America’s occupation of Afghanistan and installation of its puppet Karzai, India was unable to establish its current significant presence throughout Afghanistan. But Zardari’s regime is only interested in enticing the Pakistan armed forces to save America, rather than end Indian mischief. So, this is why the Foreign Minister, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, accuses India of involvement on the one hand, but on the other does not add his voice to international demands that America leaves the region, thereby abandoning its agent Karzai, so that the doors can be firmly closed on India’s face again.

    O Muslims in Pakistan!

This, then, is the full, ugly reality of America’s war in Waziristan. Like Soviet Russia and Imperialist Britain before it, America has been shaken to its roots by the hardy, brave Muslims of Waziristan. Abandoned by its allies and with its own soldiers gripped by fear, America turned to the Pakistan armed forces, only to find them unwilling due to their strong Islamic feelings. So, descending to levels that animals would shy from, using bomb blasts and assassinations, America coerced the Pakistani armed forces to fight in a war where killer and killed are both Muslims and tens of thousands of Muslim refugees face death through cold and hunger. And all of this is so that America can dominate over the Muslims of Central and South Asia and command over the vast wealth that this region contains.

As for your rulers, like Musharraf before them, the corrupt, greedy Zardari and his henchmen, rather than mobilizing your strength against the enemy and its evil war, have sided with your enemy. They have given it the very means that make its brutal campaign possible. Serving their kuffar masters, for the sake of worldly gains, these agent rulers are willingly trying to convert a Muslim country, with the seventh largest armed forces in the world and nuclear weapons, abundant blessings and strength, into an abode of chaos and destruction. Allah سبحانه وتعالى said,

“Have you not seen those who have changed the Blessings of Allah into disbelief and caused their people to dwell in an abode of destruction. Hell, in which they will burn, is an evil abode, indeed!” [Surah Ibraheem 14:28,29]

    O Muslims of Pakistan!

It is now high time for us to turn this miserable situation around and confound the enemies and their agents. America must be treated as an enemy state, which has waged war upon the Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan, facilitated India in its aggression and now ignited Fitna and chaos within Pakistan. America’s embassy and consulates must be closed. Its intelligence and private military organisations must be expelled. There must be no logistic support, intelligence sharing or army to army contact with American forces. And the war in the tribal areas must be ended, so that our armed forces can be mobilized beyond them to the borders to pressurize the American forces to leave Afghanistan, a bold mobilization which will rally all the Muslims of the world and expose the agents and munafiqeen who ally with the kuffar. Allah سبحانه وتعالى said,

“Give to the hypocrites the tidings that there is for them a painful torment. Those who take disbelievers as allies instead of believers, do they seek honour, power and glory with them? Verily, then to Allâh belongs all honour, power and glory”. [Surah an-Nisaa 4:138,139]

“O you who believe! Take not My enemies and your enemies as friends, showing affection towards them, while they have disbelieved in what has come to you of the truth” [Surah al Mumtahina 60:1]

And you must know, as your enemies already know, all this is only achievable under the leadership of a sincere Khaleefah, who will govern by all that Allah سبحانه وتعالى revealed. Indeed, be assured, O Muslims, inshaAllah the establishment of the Khilafah in Pakistan will be the starting point for the unification of the entire Muslim Ummah as the most powerful state in the world that will end all American and Indian mischief, rescue our people from chaos and despair and usher in a new era of security, prosperity and strength.

Member of the Swiss Political Party that Pushed for Minaret Ban Converts to Islam

The news about Switzerland’s ban on the construction of minarets has made the headlines, providing shocking evidence of the strength of increasing intolerance in Europe. I shall be writing more about the minaret ban and its implications later, God willing, but right now I wanted to share an interesting side note.

On 2nd day of Eid (29 Nov 09), Doctor’s Hospital (Johar Town Lahore) killed my 3 Years old daughter “Imanae Malik”. She had a minor burn on her hand and I made the mistake of taking her to Doctor’s Hospital where doctors injected her with an extremely high dosage to sedate her and as a consequence, she died within a few minutes in my hands.

Because of the negligence of Doctors Hospital, I have lost my 3 year old daughter…my only child…the light of my life,,,my reason for living!!

Please save your loved ones and don’t ever go to Doctors Hospital… boycott them, request the Govt. to take over this hospital or shut it down… please help me save all of you from the pain, the agony and the anguish that I’ve gone through.

IT HAS HAPPENED TO ME……….. IT CAN ALSO HAPPEN TO YOU OR YOUR LOVED ONES TOO…….IF YOU DO NOT ACT NOW!

Every planned action has to have a motive.
To say this brazen act of innocent killing is result of mere frustration is not conceiveable.
Suiciders may be emotinally destablized, brainwashed and medicated but the hand behind plnning such accurate and organized targets is sane and calculating.
The first may be non calculating hand is Govt. which apparently can not get to the suiciders hideouts but at least can crack down on sale and availability of explosives used in such attacks.
Govt. can also catch the planners…we have a history of suicide attacks for the good part of last ten years amazingly not a single planners was caught and brought to justice to made an example of.
It remains to be seen if this Govt and the last Govt of Musharaf had a motive or just a tool to play i.e. a lesser degree of motive.

Those who usually claim the responsibility like TTP etc. again are the tools because after accepting responsibility of such heinous acts they lost the motive which they claim to Islamize the system…Man of basic knowledge can understand you can not Islamize by doing un-Islamic acts….They are zombies.

Few motives are served by such horrible acts
    Depicting horrible picture of Islam
    Alienating Pakistani masses from Islam
Destroying the concept that Islam could be implemented as complete way of life.
    Destablizing Pakistan
Eunuchize Pakistan by destroying its nuclear potency.

I will hold my two cents…let the readers throw their pennies to find out who couls have all those motives.

  29. Wahid Doyum says:

    @jazoo,

How can you say those conducting suicide attacks have lost their motive and agenda? As Adnan Arshad Mansoori has pointed out the TTP “jihadis” believe we are all munafiqs and murtad for living in Pakistan and these are all revenge attacks for something or another.

In the eyes of those who consider Pakistan to be non-sharia compliant and without justice as established by taliban beheading squad, they are 100% following their agenda when the rip Pakistani people into shreds with their bombs.

PAKISTAN: Two Dutch diplomats briefly held with arms

    Monday, 07 December 2009 07:58

    Daily Times

ISLAMABAD: Security personnel on Tuesday briefly detained two Dutch employees of the Netherlands embassy in the federal capital after arms, ammunition and explosives were recovered from their car.

According to police sources, the two diplomats were detained when their vehicle was stopped and searched near Mariott Hotel. “Both diplomats were later released after Dutch embassy officials intervened,” the sources confirmed.

Security officials stopped the diplomats’ dark blue BMW at 11:30am between Marriott Hotel and the Secretariat area. Upon searching the car, they found two handguns, four magazines, two smoke grenades, two flash bombs and six bullet-proof jackets and detained the two diplomats, who were identified only as Smith and William.

“They were unable to provide any justification for being armed and keeping bombs,” the sources said.

Police were planning to take the men in custody when top diplomatic officials intervened and the arrested diplomats were allowed to leave with their weapons. The Dutch embassy did not offer comments despite repeated attempts to contact them.

PAKISTAN: US surveillance of Naval HQs

    Nation

    By: Zulqarnain Haider

ISLAMABAD – Much before the terror attack on the Naval Headquarters in E-9 sector of Islamabad, the complex was being monitored by the US embassy.

The Nation has learnt that on November 18, a gentleman working for the US embassy in Islamabad, (see photocopy of ID card) Mr Abdul Ghafoor, was stopped by Naval police and intelligence personnel in the morning as he was suspiciously monitoring the entry/exit of Zafar gate (at Zafar Chowk) and doing reconnaissance work of naval installations.

Suspicions were further heightened when it was discovered that he was using a motorbike with a number plate that was found to be fake when checked. The chassis of the bike also seemed to have been tampered with. He offered a flimsy explanation to the effect that he was checking the route on which the ambassador had to travel.

The Naval police and intelligence personnel insisted the police to register an FIR against him for surveillance of a restricted area. It was also found that his number plate IDM 5250 showed that it belonged to a Toyota Corolla. The chassis number of the bike was D55609. A camera was also found on his person. The Naval and other agencies sought to have a case of spying registered against the man – as shown in the FIR – as they were sure that is what he was up to.

Unfortunately, the police high-ups did a double cross on the Navy by registering the case under PPC 420 468/471 dealing fake documentation etc., instead of registering the case under the 1923 Official Secrets Act for Spying, which carries a much stronger penalty.

This has led to some debate and conflict amongst the concerned Agencies and one has to wonder where the pressure on the police came from for them to have diluted a very serious issue despite the clear accusations in the FIR (see copy).

Army stopped from entering Jacobabad airbase: Gen Shahid

    Tuesday, December 08, 2009
Musharraf obliged US without informing corps commanders; Former CGS talks to Hamid Mir in Capital Talk of Geo News

    News Desk

ISLAMABAD: Former chief of General Staff (CGS) Lt-Gen (retd) Shahid Aziz has said he, along with other senior Army officers, opposed to give Pakistan’s airbases to the US but the then president and chief of Army Staff Pervez Musharraf did it without informing his corps commanders.

Former CGS and former chairman of the NAB Shahid Aziz made this revelation while talking to Hamid Mir in Geo TV’s show “Capital Talk” on Monday night.

He said the Pakistani troops were moved from Quetta to Jacobabad for taking control of the local airbase, but “we were surprised when our troops informed us that the US Army had not allowed them to enter the Jacobabad airbase.” He said that after sometime, he came to know privately from a PAF officer that the US had also taken over the Pasni airbase and as the CGS, he was not aware of all these developments.

Shahid Aziz said Pervez Musharraf took most of the sensitive decisions without informing his corps commanders.

Responding to a question, he said Pakistan never benefited from the US presence in Afghanistan. In fact, India is using Afghanistan to destabilise Pakistan and this is happening under the nose of the US troops in Afghanistan, he said, adding Pakistan must say goodbye to the US war on terror now.

He admitted that Pervez Musharraf, his COS Hamid Javaid and Tariq Aziz forced him to close down the investigations against Benazir Bhutto and when he refused to implement the orders, he was asked to resign from the NAB chairmanship in July 2007. He said Musharraf was also responsible for facilitating many criminals through the NRO and he would definitely provide evidence against Musharraf in any court of law, if summoned.

Former interior minister Faisal Saleh Hayat also agreed that Pakistan must keep its distance from the US in the so-called war on terrorism. He claimed that India and Israel were involved in sponsoring terrorism in Pakistan.

The ‘taliban’ are blamed for bomb attacks when they claim responsibility and the ‘taliban’ are blamed for bomb attacks when they deny responsibility. Isn’t this contradictory?

Were there no bomb attacks in Pakistan before taliban? Are taliban the only enemy of Pakistan?

Bomb blasts at Meena Bazar, Peshawar and Moon Market, Lahore bore stark resemblances to the Bohri Bazar Karachi bomb attack in 1986.

Indian and Afghan (communist) secret services have been actively involved in terrorism in Pakistan throughout 1980s and 1990s. Seems like they are very active again while our intelligence agencies are only concentrating on ‘taliban’.

ISLAMABAD: Police on Wednesday arrested five American nationals believed to have gone missing from the Washington DC area last month, officials from both countries said.
The five were arrested at the house of a member of the banned terrorist outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad in Sargodha, District Police Officer Usman Anwar told AFP. Police officer Tahir Gujjar said three of the men were of Pakistani descent, one was of Egyptian descent and the other was of Yemeni heritage, AP reported. Regional Police Officer Mian Javed Islam said the men were between the ages of 18 and 20 and had spent the past few days in the city.
Premature: He said they were being questioned and it was premature to discuss the reason for the detentions. But two US officials familiar with the case said the five were believed to be young men from the Washington area who went missing at the end of November.
US officials said one of the missing US students detained in Pakistan left what investigators call a farewell video saying Muslims must be defended and featuring images of American casualties.
Two officials did not identify which of the five missing students made the video. Pakistan authorities say they have detained five unidentified Americans as they investigate the case. The FBI has been searching for the men since their families reported them missing and expressed fears they may have gone to Pakistan, according to the two US officials. One of the men was a dental student at Howard University, according to the officials.
US embassy spokesman Rick Snelsire said officials there were aware of the reported arrests, but could not confirm them. Quoting a senior police officer, a press report said it “was quite a possibility that they (the five men) were engaged in acts of terrorism”. agencies

Pakistanis most likely to be turned down for UK visas

Pakistanis are more likely to be turned down for visas to visit the UK than any other nationals, figures show.

Some 41% of applications for family visitor visas from Pakistan were rejected in the last year, according to Home Office statistics seen by the BBC.

Bangladeshis were the second least successful with a refusal rate of 31% but the figure for India was just 14%.

Sarah Teather, Lib Dem MP for Brent East, blames discrimination by the Home Office, but the government denies this.

Tougher controls are thought by some people to be due to growing controversy over immigration, and fears visitors are staying beyond their visa and disappearing into the UK.

    ‘Blatant discrimination’

Ms Teather said: “The government need to urgently review their practice and look at why it is so many Pakistani family visa are being refused.

“Why is it so high in comparison with other countries? Is this bad practice?”

She added: “It does look on the face of it as though it’s blatant discrimination against Pakistanis.

“It’s as if they’ve decided that all Pakistanis are going to overstay and as a consequences are refusing their visas.”

The Home Office rejected accusations of discrimination and said it refused applications only when they were unsatisfactory.

Applicants must show they will leave the country when they are supposed to and have sufficient funds for their stay, it added.

Although the spokesman denied that Blackwater was currently involved in CIA operations in Pakistan and Afghanistan, his comments, contradicted past US assertions that the company does not operate in Pakistan, reported Press TV on Saturday.
Other than the US administration, the Pakistani government and Xe itself had denied that the company was operating in Pakistan.
Little did say, however, that the contractor still provides so-called security or support assistance to the US intelligence agency in the two countries. He did not elaborate further on exactly what that role involves.
While the New York Times published CIA’s claim that Blackwater employees no longer have an operational role in the agency’s covert programmes in Pakistan and Afghanistan, the British newspaper Guardian posted a quite different article.
Citing comments from an unnamed former US official, the British daily reported that Blackwater was still operating in Pakistan at a secret CIA airfield used for launching drone attacks.

Two more vehicles of US officials stopped for checking

    Sunday, December 13, 2009

LAHORE: Yet another two land cruisers belonging to the officials of the US Consulate were stopped for checking at Shimla Hill and the Sherpao Bridge and permitted to go after identification on Saturday.

A vehicle was stopped at a police picket set up near Shimla Hill on the Egerton Road for checking. The riders refused to let the policemen check their vehicle. An official of the US Consulate intervened after which the vehicle was allowed to move.

Another vehicle of the US Consulate was intercepted at the Sherpao Bridge near a picket of security agencies which was allowed to go after identification and due checking. Police sources said the number plates of both the vehicles were temporary.

Online adds: The Americans did not allow police to check their car on the Egerton Road and threatened them to resort to firing. The police let the car go after the US Consulate’s interference, a private television channel reported.

Blackwater behind Pakistan bombings: Ex-intel chief

    Press TV

The former head of Pakistan’s intelligence agency, ISI, Asad Durrani said in an interview with Press TV that Blackwater, a notorious US security firm, is carrying out operations in the country.

His comments came after the US Central intelligence Agency (CIA) revealed that Blackwater, which currently works under the name Xe Services, has been involved in drone attacks in Pakistan.

The CIA said the private security company has been loading bombs on US drones that target suspected militants in Pakistan. The attacks, according to Pakistani media, kill civilians as well.

General Durrani, however, said the group may be involved in actions that destabilize the country.

“My assessment is that they [Blackwater agents] – either themselves or most probably through others, through the locals – do carry out some of the explosions,” he said.

“The idea is to carry out such actions, like carrying attacks in the civilian areas to make the others look bad in the eyes of the public.”

Pakistan, suffering from a wave of violence, has witnessed the loss of lives of more than two thousands civilians in the past two years because of bomb attacks across the country.

What a shame article by Sehbai probably on CIA payroll.
Washington think this and that about this and that Pakistani.
This journalist and many like him have decided we are a helpless nation our top decision making would be done by Washington and he is excited so is nota and probably I am also excited that Washington at last thinking our way because our so called national existence depends on Washington mood.
We are a slave nation and we are proud to be one.
No other country EXCEPT Pakistan is as submissive as we are shamelessly willing to be led by Masa.
We are left with no pride…we always ask USA to fix the problem of Kashmir like a primary school students asking his teacher for a pee….though India and USA both laugh at us.

Lebanon probably half the size of Karachi without a well established Army is hard to be dictated by USA on their internal affairs is more free and more respected than Nuclear Pakistan with 5th largest and well disciplined Army.

When Sehbai talk like this he does not even feel theres something terribly wrong in his submissive and slavish approach….This we call a nation without conscience and self integrity.

I have not read every article from Irfan Siddiquie and Haroon Rasheed but I am confident it will be hard to find our national dependency on Washington mood in their writings.

  62. jazoo says:

I must clarify why I think Sehbai is on CIA payroll.
When Zardari was in jail Sehbai was one of few who frequently visit Zardari in jail.
Sehbai knew then and now that Zardari was more corrupt than he was accused of.
Then probably CIA was planning to make him a leader to replace Benazir…..Now CIA planning to replace him as used tissue and Sehbai exactly doing what he is expected to do.

    Post-American scenarios in Afghanistan

At one level, Musharraf’s strategy of hedging Pakistan’s bets in Afghanistan seems to have been based on a fairly realistic appraisal of what was politically and militarily possible for the western alliance. For Pakistan there can be no exit strategy from the Afghan quagmire. The double policy to the extent it could be sustained meant that no matter who won in Afghanistan Pakistan could claim to have helped the winning side. Now that the Americans have served notice that they will start vacating in 18 months Pakistan has every incentive to accelerate its campaign against those militants working against itself while leaving the Afghan Taliban alone. There are a number of post-American scenarios that Pakistan is now compelled to contemplate.

Removing Zardari’s Amnesty Cannot Purify Pakistan’s Corrupt Political Culture

The Pakistan Supreme Court’s decision to strike down the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) has come as no surprise. Such was the feared public revulsion at allowing such criminals getting away with absolutely everything under the sun including murder, embezzlement and theft amongst other charges, Zardari failed to get support even from his own ruling coalition to legitimise Musharraf’s parting gift in the National Assembly and the Senate. It was just a matter of time before the Supreme Court voided his amnesty and that of the countless other criminals turned ministers alongside with him such as Interior Minister Rehman Malik. The truth is that the only real shock was the fact that such a despised and corrupt individual such as Zardari could come have to power in the first place with his coterie of cronies.

Zardari’s notorious record for corruption is unprecedented even by Pakistan’s standards. Nicknamed as ‘Mr 10%’ for his graft accumulation during his wife Benazir Bhutto’s two governments in the 1990s, Zardari’s fortune, made in a country where two thirds of the population lives on less than $2 a day, is estimated to be at least $1.5 billion, much of it laundered and stashed overseas in various bank accounts and properties. No one will ever forget Zardari’s air conditioned stud farms in Islamabad or the infamous 355 acre British Rockwood mansion better known as the ‘Surrey Mahal’ which the ‘first couple’ denied was theirs’ but eventually were forced to admitting to owning. Moreover both Bhutto and Zardari were convicted in a Swiss court for corruption. Today as Transparency International reports that Pakistan has slipped to become rated as one of the most corrupt countries in the world, nobody in Pakistan would bat an eyelid at this scandalous distinction with Zardari at the helm. Yet both Barack Obama and Gordon Brown have strongly endorsed and backed their ‘democratic’ friend Zardari.

The explanation for this support is that Zardari could only come to power with the help of London and Washington. His amnesty was engineered in the corridors of power in Washington and London who did everything possible to get Bhutto back to power to replace the unpopular and waning General Pervez Musharraf. In return Zardari has willingly served the West’s agenda of occupying Afghanistan and spreading the flames of America’s ‘War on Terror’ into Pakistan itself; Zardari ordered the military operations in Swat and Waziristan designed to break the back of the resistance that defies the occupation of Afghanistan. Today these operations have left more than 3.5 million people homeless and displaced. Zardari has also allowed American paramilitaries’ such as Blackwater and DynCorp, fronts for the CIA, to wreak havoc in Pakistan with their covert drone strikes and orchestrated terror attacks in an attempt to build public opinion for a war that enjoys no support amongst the Pakistani people. The NRO elevated crooks and career criminals beyond their wildest dreams whilst Western governments tried to sell the lie to the Pakistani people that democracy would bring the restoration of the rule of law when in reality it placed them above the law. Who can believe then that Rehman Malik, a man convicted for corruption and in the lap of the Americans, who also continues to deny the presence of Blackwater despite all the mounting evidence, can ensure Pakistan’s internal security as bombs go off with such devastating impunity? As Zardari battles to cling to power hiding behind his fig leaf of constitutional immunity despite having lost all moral authority, it is a small wonder then that Pakistanis have over joyously welcomed the prospect of Zardari and his treacherous regime being forced from power.

Yet the sad truth is that there is very little real prospect of Zardari and his criminal associates facing real punishment. The removal of the NRO shield is actually an in fight in the Pakistani establishment over who controls the levers of power, who gets to enjoy the perks of office and who get’s their hands on Washington’s annual bribe money which now stands at over $1.5 billion. For the facts are that whilst Zardari has rightly been exposed for his treachery to America, the Pakistani establishment at the time of the enactment of the disgraceful NRO by Musharraf remained silent and accepted the anointment of Zardari as the next ruler. Moreover Zardari could not have executed the military operations without the top army leadership backing Washington’s war in Pakistan’s tribal regions. This is why the brave Muslim soldiers of the Pakistan army continue to be sacrificed for America in a pitiful situation which is only leading to more turmoil inside Pakistan, a situation that did not exist prior to America arriving in the region in 2001.

Nor is there any real prospect of a change in policy on the horizon. Nawaz Sharif, the main opposition leader leading the PML-N and another wealthy politically made billionaire during his stints in power, continues to support America’s ‘War on Terror’ as he warmly welcomes representatives of the neo-American Raj to his Raiwind residence. Pakistan’s main politicians willingly support American policy in a political system designed to serve the interests of the big feudal landowners, industrialists and military generals. This is why nobody can spot the difference in Pakistan’s policy towards America when General Pervez Musharraf was in power and with Zardari in control today. All of this is transpiring as an aggressive American expansion in drone attacks has taken place in the last few days with America’s Vice President threatening that the 30,000 troop surge in Afghanistan is really designed for Pakistan, declaring “our focus should be Pakistan and Al Qaeda in Pakistan and Pakistan’s nuclear weapons”. Pakistan’s secular system, whether manifested in today’s democracy or yesteryear’s military dictatorship, has utterly failed to serve it’s people over the last 62 years because it is corrupt to the core.

A system based on the Islamic values of the Pakistani people is the only real prospect of saving the country. The West’s forcibly exported values of freedom and moral ambivalence have failed to take root in Pakistan; these values are alien to the Islamic beliefs of the Pakistani people which is why secularism and democracy have been rejected at the grassroots level. Pakistan’s people believe in the Shariah, they believe in what the Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم brought, which is why poll after poll shows strong support for the re-establishment of the Khilafah. They desire such a system because they know it will provide real justice as established in Islamic jurisprudence. They know what happened when the Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم was approached about sparing a rich woman from a powerful tribe for the punishment of theft, who answered: “Those before you were destroyed because they used to carry out the hadd punishment on the weak and did not carry it out on the noble. By the One who has my soul in His hand, if Fatima (daughter of the Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم) were to do that, I would cut off her hand.”

Contrast that with the situation in Pakistan today where the rich and powerful are free to do whatever they want, where they willingly sacrifice the people of Pakistan for America’s war simply to stay in power to enrich themselves. This is deviously exploited by Western governments such as the British and Americans who openly interfere and support such sycophantic rulers who slavishly seek external support in return for furthering their own nefarious regional interests. The death of the NRO is immaterial for it was simply another by product of a failed political system where politicians are free to legislate at will which is the real problem; what needs to change is the system that allows such ordinances to come to pass for tomorrow these rulers will certainly be replaced with another set of obsequious tyrannical rulers treading the same path of self gratification. The only solution for genuinely solving Pakistan’s deepening crisis is for the people of Pakistan and the Pakistan army to re-establish the Khilafah; there is no other way left.

US fighter jets were on Saturday seen flying over Mohmand tribal region bordering Afghanistan for almost two hours, local residents and officials said, reported Indian news agency PTI.
The jets, which were flying at low altitude, intruded almost 50 kilometers into the Pakistani airspace. They were seen flying over Soran Darra, Ghanam Shah, Shaikh Baba, Matai and Khazeena Chinari, which are located west of Ghalanai, the main town of Mohmand Agency.
Officials of the local political administration also confirmed the intrusion by the US jets. Local residents said the US aircraft flew across the Afghan border at around 8:00 am and remained in the Pakistani airspace for almost two hours.
This development has sprung a wave of panic among the local population, who are already terrorized by the continued US drone attacks as such attacks are claiming lives of innocent people.
The tribesmen protested against the intrusion by the US fighters, saying international norms do not allow aircraft of a foreign country to fly over an independent nation without its permission.
Tribal elders asked the government to take up the matter with the UN and vowed to defend Pakistan against ‘any foreign aggression’.

    Pakistan: The Sleeping Giant

    Adnan Khan writes from Pakistan

Today, Pakistan has over 6 millions citizens who are over the age of 65. Such people witnessed the partition, some survived the treacherous journey from Amritsar to Lahore, whilst others left all their livelihoods and in effect migrated to the new nation. The creation of Pakistan, the struggle and the sacrifices are all taught in schools and every Pakistani can reel of Pakistan’s history. Even though 50% of Pakistan’s population is under the age of 15! Pakistan’s history and its constituent parts form part of the Pakistani psyche.

After more than 60 years something has gone seriously wrong, the fact that 72% of Pakistan live on less than $2 a day and the fact that 40% of Pakistan are not even on the electricity grid do not reveal the misery the Ummah in Pakistan face every day. I realised this just travelling outside Benazir Bhutto International Airport in Islamabad, Things got even worse as I got further from the Capital. Barefooted children in freezing temperatures occupied the roadsides, whilst the stench of sewage in many places became unbearable.

Pakistan to a large extent has not even been developed, key roads linking cities are falling apart and many villages (Pakistan today is largely rural) have no roads. The government however has taken pride in the fact that most Pakistani’s posses a mobile phone, I was shocked at the fact that even the cleaner in my house possessed a mobile phone.

As a visitor to the country I questioned all those who would listen (and Pakistani’s will always discuss politics) on what has gone wrong. The resonating answer I got was the failure of Pakistan’s successive leaderships. Those who were above 65 and witnessed all Pakistani governments with intermittent military rule have nothing good to say about past Pakistani governments. As one elder in my family explained that a country that has not been developed, going into politics is the assured path to make a quick buck. Many politicians are born into such a culture and see governance as a personal opportunity to amass wealth rather than govern.

With the nation is such disarray every man must fend for himself as no leader will ever provide for his/her subjects. The current bombings taking place in Pakistan are beginning to affect the nation’s livelihood. As the bombing have become more and more random fear has gripped Pakistani society and as the sun sets every day many resign to their homes and occupy themselves with the cable discussions and debates about the country. On scratching the surface of the bombings many believe the US is behind them, who are conducting a campaign of terror through the private security firm -Blackwater. I questioned this premise and would quietly informed that The Taliban do not bomb mosques, Iwas told the moulvies of Pakistan threaten universities and colleges who permit students to wear mini skirts. I was informed the Taliban would have long targeted Lahore’s red light district and other vice area, Pakistani’s are in no doubt that the Taliban cannot be behind such attacks as their psyche is well known by the public.

Government failure and corruption have at the same time created much pessimism about any change ever coming to Pakistan. A public that busies itself to ensure their dependents are fed and clothed and who have never seen anything in the realm of long term policy would naturally be very pessimistic about change. This is the same public who have always been taught since independence that Pakistan is weak and the West is too strong. Continued leaders who sold the nation to fill their own bank accounts have affected public confidence for change.

At the same time however Islam remains deeply entrenched in the heart of every Pakistani and many want the return of Islam. Unfortunately the abuse of Islam by previous governments, the utilisation of Islam by some ulema for their own ends all translates into Islam being seen as primary spiritual rather than a system that can organise a nation. This was the very reason many in Pakistan supported the Taliban government. Many consider the understanding of Islam by the Taliban today as simplistic, but for most Pakistan’s it was Islam and they support Islam. It is this situation that has led to many foreign journalists to view Pakistani’s as emotional and in need for a lesson on rational thought and enquiry. With Arabic not being the language of Pakistan the Ummah here is reliant upon the ulema to access the Islamic sources, the Ulema themselves have been effected by the general decline the Ummah has undergone over the last 300 years and do not comprehend Islam as a system for society offering rules to structure the economy, elect and account the ruler and organise male-female relations.

Before departing from Pakistan I explained to all who I discussed with that Pakistan is sitting on a Gold mine. The West comprehends this very clearly and as a result US policy makers have sleepless nights on the fact that the trends point towards a Pakistan that wants change, but more worryingly has all the necessary ingredients to change its status quo. US think tanks have continued to reiterate that Pakistan has more love for Islam than many Arab nations.

    Pakistan Gold mine consists of:

    *
    – The world’s fifth largest reserves of copper in Baluchistan
    *
    – The Thar Coal Field in Sindh is the world’s largest coal field. Pakistan posses the worlds largest Coal reserves in the world after the US. The 175 billion tonnes of coal are the equivalent of 618 billion barrels of crude oil.
    *
    – Pakistan possesses 25.1 trillion cubic feet (tcf) of proven gas reserves. Pakistan today has highest number of compressed natural gas (CNG)-run vehicles in the world.
    *
    – Pakistan has developed an advanced tactical ballistic missile programme alongside nuclear weapons
    *
    – Pakistan has managed to develop a basic space programme by the creation of the ‘Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO).
    *
    – Pakistan has also developed an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) otherwise known as a drone named the ‘Uqaab’.
    *
    – Pakistan produces over 21 million metric tons of wheat, more than all of Africa (20 million) and nearly as much as all of Latin America (24 million metric tons).
    *
    – Pakistan is the worlds largest producer of ghee (Clarified Butter), 2nd largest producer of Chickpeas, Buffalo Meat and Milk, 3rd largest producer of Okra vegetables, 4th largest producer of Apricot, Cotton, Goat’s Milk and Mangos, 5th largest producer of Milk, Onion and Sugar Cane, 6th largest producer of Date Palm and the 7th largest producer of Fresh tropical fruit and Sesame Seed.

Pakistan from just such resources is in a better position on the eve of development then many of the nations that have industrialised. Germany and Japan were forced into territorial expansion due to their lack of mineral resources and small population – Pakistan has no such issues. The leaders of the Capitalist nations are loosing sleep to ensure Pakistan never rises, they live in fear at the prospect. The National Intelligence Estimate of 2004, which is the intelligence community of the US opinion on future trends predicts the return of the Khilafah in 2020. It reiterated that “”Radical Islam will have a significant global impact…rallying disparate ethnic and national groups and perhaps even creating an authority that transcends national boundaries.”

The final part of this jigsaw is for Pakistan to understand that it has the capability to bring change to its own situation, the day this is achieved the task of attaining political unity with the rest of the Muslim world would begin. To do this Pakistan must embrace not only its sole hope of survival and salvation, but also its destiny. It must become the Khilafah, as prophesised by the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم in his hadith:

“The Prophethood will last among you for as long as Allah wills, then Allah would take it away. Then it will be (followed by) a Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided) according to the ways of the Prophethood. It will remain for as long as Allah wills, then Allah would take it away. Afterwards there will be a hereditary leadership which will remain for as long as Allah wills, and then He will lift it if He wishes. Afterwards, there will be biting oppression, and it will last for as long as Allah wishes, then He will lift it if He wishes. Then there will be a Khilafah Rashidah according to the ways of the Prophethood.” Then he kept silent. (Musnad Imam Ahmad (v/273))

‘US Special Forces conducted multiple raids in Pakistan’

    Tuesday, 22 December 2009 08:18

    Dawn

KARACHI: US Special Forces have conducted multiple clandestine raids as part of a secret war inside Pakistan’s tribal areas where Washington is pressing to expand its drone attacks, a report in Britain’s Guardian newspaper said.

Citing a former Nato officer, the Guardian said these incursions, only one of which was previously reported, occurred between 2003 and 2008. It involved helicopter-borne elite soldiers entering through the border at night. The incursions were never declared to the Pakistani government, the report said.

The source said Pakistan was kept in the dark about the operations and that the United States would not officially confirm the procedures.

After the only publicly acknowledged special forces’ raid in September 2008, Pakistan’s foreign office condemned it as ‘a grave provocation’, while the Pakistani military threatened retaliatory action.’

    A Pak firm aiding Blackwater

ISLAMABAD – The heated debate regarding the misadventures of notorious Blackwater in Pakistan have rightly questioned the credibility and integrity of the covert organisation. Blackwater or Xe Worldwide, being an expansionist organisation, works on the agenda and directives of CIA, whether it is involved in the recent wave of bloodbath in Pakistan is yet to be determined, but the writing on the wall is too visible to be comprehended what lies underneath, and all this is happening with the active involvement of ‘local Americans.’
Jeremy Scahill, an investigative journalist whose recent article about Blackwater titled “Blackwater’s Secret War in Pakistan” had given light to some of the darkest aspects of Blackwater, disclosed in an interview that a Pakistani company Kestral owned by Liaquat Ali Baig, was working with Blackwater to assist it in Pakistan with the collusion of Interior Ministry and Frontier Constabulary (FC). “I talked to a former Blackwater executive that is familiar with Blackwater’s operations in the region. And when I asked them to confirm for me what the military intelligence sources said, namely that the Blackwater guys are not doing the actual killing in Pakistan, he told, “That is not entirely accurate,” then proceeded to tell me about an arrangement that Blackwater had made with a Pakistani company called Kestral, that is headed by a man named Ali Bagg. The Blackwater executive told me, that Erik Prince, the owner of Blackwater, is close with the owner of this Pakistan firm that is sort of like a Blackwater and logistical firm wrapped up into one. This is a company the works for Lockheed Martin and Raytheon and Pakistan the government and does a very robust business in war contracting and servicing the war in Afghanistan as well. And my understanding is that Blackwater is working for this company on a subcontract in a configuration that has Blackwater operatives going out technically as advisers with these paramilitary style forces from this company, and that they are doing as you said in the intro, border interdictions in the Northwest frontier province and elsewhere and the former Blackwater executive told me the line often gets blurred and that you do have Blackwater guys and other westerners that act the participate in operations that are the portrayed in the international media as Pakistan forces carrying them out. And the agency that Blackwater forces are supporting is a federal paramilitary force in Pakistan that’s under the Ministry of the Interior there, called the Frontier Corp. The military intelligence official confirmed the Blackwater executives account, or at least the specific allegation that Blackwater is working with the Frontier Corps. The benefit of this is it allows the Pakistani government to say, “We’re not using any Western forces to do these things,” because the technicality is that there subcontracted by a Pakistani firm that is working with the official Pakistan forces.”

I think PPP should thank to Allah that He has provided them with a golden chance to clear themselves as they are really the most patriotic and shareef-un-nafs people on the face of this earth and , as they claim, have always been the victim of prejudice and treachary. They are morally so sublime that they dont feel necessory to listen to the moral pleas of this poor nation of wretched people that they have been given the daunting task to lead, to resign and clarify their names. For them they never did any thing wrong and that is why they will not be listening to the pleas of this nation. But as the world have it , it is norm every where else , where ever there is a democracy and rule of law, that man of responsibility have to bear the burden of proof and donot lead the nation untill proven innocent but, and because it is so dark, filthy and rotten to the core with corruption this world is, PPP doesnot want to be treated same as the rest of the humanity and demand to be treated with difference and priority thus decline to submit to the request of us POOR BEINGS.

Now you accept that Judiciary is Independent and and independent Judiciary has defined a clear cut method to do justice. If you accept this they why dont you go to the same judiciary and plea to them to hear all these cases that you have listed above?

Seemingly what has triggered this flight of analytical imagination is the Supreme Court’s verdict against the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO). But at a deeper level, the issue is not about 17 judges’ judicial slant against a sitting government – the allegation that is so rife in the PPP’s inner circles. It is about a complete breakdown of trust between Pakistan’s powerful military and intelligence establishment and President Asif Ali Zardari.

This is unethical to blame Muslim community of Rochester. Muslim community in Rochester tried to help this couple. Husband was willing to help his wife and was willing to provide her everything within his means but wife had specific plans and wanted to adopt that route which she is on, now. It clearly reflects her motives and negativity.

She did lie to many people here. She tried to give this impression to community that ‘she wants to go to Pakistan but her husband does not allow her to take child back to Pakistan’. Husband allowed her through his attorney and he was himself returning to Pakistan but she then backed out and revealed her true intentions that she wants to stay here in USA.

This is not right to blame Muslim community. People in the community did their best to help this couple but things have come to this point due to negative attitude and stubbornness of woman.

The three stooges around the president

    December 29, 2009
    Ansar Abbasi

ISLAMABAD: The question everyone in the country and abroad is asking after President Asif Ali Zardariís defiant Naudero speech on Sunday is who are his close advisers who have pushed him into this state of mind. At least three close associates have been identified as those poisoning the top man against the Pakistan Army and the superior judiciary.
They are also said to be encouraging him to play the disastrous Sindh card. Sources confided to The News that two doctors, one from the interior Sindh and the other from Karachi, and a PIA pilot, hailing from Sindh, are the three characters, who have been heard by different sources while telling President Asif Ali Zardari that the Pakistan Army is all out against him and would target him anytime.
This group of three, the sources said, usually surrounds the president and keeps on poisoning him with the kind of ‘threats’ that do not exist in reality. However, it makes the president fearful of his fate and leaves him with no option but to say strange things publicly like that no one would force him to quit and that he could be removed from the Presidency in an ambulance.

Some journalists too have been approached by the president, sharing his serious fears about the Pakistan Army. President Zardari has been made mistrustful to the extent allegedly by this group of three that he does not hesitate to tell people even on phone that the Army is coming to target him (Zardari).
Presidency spokesman Farhatullah Babar when approached denied this and categorically said: ‘This is absolutely wrong.’ He said that he never saw or heard anyone to have been saying any such thing to the president. ‘I completely deny this’, he said, adding this is all rumour mongering and propagated by those, who are against the Presidency.
When asked to identify such elements, he said: ‘I would not like to pre-judge.’ Babar said one of the doctors, blamed to be the member of ‘a gang of three’, did not visit the Presidency for the last 15 days and is not the kind of soul that could do what is associated with him. About the other doctors, who is a permanent resident of the Presidency, Babar said he was also never heard of talking such things.
Babar, however, did not say anything about the PIA employee. Sources, however, said the president is told that besides the Army, the superior judiciary is also against him. The government reluctance to follow the Supreme Courtís judgment on the NRO in letter and spirit is also said to be the consequence of the unfounded fears that the judiciary has made up its mind to remove Asif Ali Zardari from the presidency.
A military source said the top military command is also concerned over the unsubstantiated and baseless apprehensions that suggest that the Army intents to remove the president. The source said there is a dire need to remove such misconceptions and help build a better understanding between different state institutions.
Although President Zardari has never publicly supported the Sindh Card, it is discussed in the Presidency quite often than seldom. The provocative statements issued by Dr Zulfikar Mirza, Raja Riaz and other PPP leaders are said to be part of a strategy to pre-empt the fear-based future happening.
The Sindh Card came into play after the Supreme Courtís judgment on the NRO. However, looking at the facts of the case, there seems no rationale of using the Sindh Card vis a vis the apex court.
It is, however, generally believed that the conspiracy mantra of the Presidency is an effort to divert the people’s attention from the the serious implications of the SC’s judgment that has left the President really worried as the reopening of Swiss cases would possibly lead to his political death.
No matter what the president and his associates say, there is hardly any one to believe this, as judiciary is performing in a wonderful manner whereas the military has shown no sign of disapproval to the democratic system rather has been fully supporting so far. Many see President Zardari and his style of governance as the major threat to the system.
Irrespective of the impression that was being created, Punjab was the most irrelevant in the NRO case. Not only that two petitioners – Qazi Hussain Ahmad and Roedad Khan — who had challenged the NRO were from Frontier. Dr Mubashir Hasan lives in Lahore, he is not Punjabi but an Urdu speaking.
It is worth mentioning here that the 17-member bench of the Supreme Court that decided the fate of the NRO included the representation from all provinces with three honourable judges from Sindh. The bench also included three honourable judges from Balochistan, four from the NWFP and seven from the Punjab and all of the judges with consensus held the NRO void ab initio. During the proceedings of the petitions against the NRO, the judges made it clear that the court was not hearing the cases against any particular personality.
Moreover the lawyers who argued the most against the NRO, Abdul Hafeez Pirzada, also hailed from Sindh and is considered more Sindhi than Asif Ali Zardari. The counsel who represented the federation, Kamal Azfar also did not defend the NRO before the Supreme Court. Kamal Azfar is also from Sindh. Advocate General, Sindh Yousaf Leghari, who is also from Sindh, was given opportunity to explain the position of his province in the apex court but he did not defend the National Reconciliation Ordinance.
Additionally, the three-member bench constituted by the Supreme Court to hear the appeals of NAB cases and the ex-beneficiaries of the NRO does not include any judge from the Punjab. It is led by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, who is from Balochistan, and include Justice Khilji Arif Hussain and Justice Anwar Zaheer, both of whom are from Sindh.
