Tons of information on US armed presence is being shown by media but you don’t find any government functionary telling the truth. Rehman Malik and Zardari are bent upon telling the whole lie and opposition is not ready to annoy Washington, Army generals feel themselves under pressure, so who is going to stand and tell their US friends enough is enough?

This blackwater interview is very intriguing, so does that report of us special forces presence. It confirms what was being reported earlier by Seymore hersh and others on the subject.
Joint sitting of the parliament should finalize a security policy for Pakistan otherwise this poor ruling janta would do whatever they want to.

NM should ask Rehman Malik to come and defend it. Interior Ministry has become so controversial that he must explain his position.

We criticize our politicians for their greed corruption and boasting their wealth. We should also appreciate when they do some thing good.Having concensus on NFC award is one of the greatest achievement. It has pacified people of Baluchistan a bit and people of Baluchistan who believe in federation of Pakistan can convince the people over there that there is hope.I also will like to appreciate Shahbaz Sharif who went out of the way to sacrifice for small provinces and create a sense of being part of the federation and not ignored. All the political parties deserve to be congratulated.

It seems like either our government is not taking American threat seriously or they are too afraid to talk about it.Every day Americans are being caught red handed doing survalence of our sensitive check posts and neighborhoods.Every time they are released by a phone call from some where. It is obvious that Americans are involved in spying against our country. There are so many reports that American agencies are involve in terrorism against Pakistan then why these people are released every time.If Pakistani,s are caught in America for same kind of activity they will be charged for terrorism and our government will piss in the pants. These Americans should be punished swearly so no one ever dare to plot against Pakistan.

Right after 9/11 people in Pakistan who keep a close eye on the world situation said that America has come to our region for Pakistan not for Talibans or Afghanistan.Today it is picture clear the intriguing activities of Americans are alarming. Our government on the other hand has cosed its eyes against Americans.Especially Rehman Malik and Saman taseer they are not willing to put the blame on America and India. It is time to remove these people from office and investigate who they have their sympathies for.

Interior ministry officer is unavailable and there is no statement from the government why is he missing. It is obvious that he is occulting so no body could learn the truth about American secret agencies working in Pakistan. It is the responsibility of prime minister of Pakistan to go through this very very serious matter and hold people responsible.

After a lapse of 17 years, the centre and the provinces have signed a consensual agreement, the NFC Award, on how to divide resources without hurting one another. The consensus was reached not by using strong-arm tactics, but by the force of reason. General Musharraf, and before him General Ziaul Haq, had no inkling how to tackle this thorny issue. They only knew how to coerce the provinces into submission, a dictatorial prerogative, which the provinces hated. Thus, for the last 17 years, the resources were divided on an ad hoc basis, which bred resentment between the provinces on the one hand and between the centre and the provinces on the other. It was a breach of the constitution.
The mistrust of provinces against one another and the centre and the latter’s ‘big brother’ attitude towards the provinces was the product of the military rules. The provinces equated the military rule with Punjabi rule because of the preponderance of Punjabis in the armed forces. The province was blamed for any undemocratic move in the country disregarding the fact that because of its large population, Punjab was the only province that could provide massive manpower to the military.

America is working on a policy of coercing towards Pakistan. It is working very well for the Americans. In the after noon a American envoy meets president or prime minister of Pakistan and next morning their orders are obeyed.Question is how long this policy of suppression will work for America. In my opinion not very long the people of Pakistan are ready to take on America, the day we have a positive change in our country that will be the last day of American role of intimidation in Pakistan.

Ishaq dar gave the good news of abolishing of 17th amendment and 58-2B.He also mentioned that there will be some more positive amendments to give provincial autonomy .It will be the best thing ever happen to Pakistan. But my concern is that proposal for new amendment are noncontroversial.Because Baluchistan package and new anti corruption bills are already rejected even before they are presented.I hope it is not the case this time.

Political parties are debating on the new name of NWFP. I am surprised that all political parties are arguing with each other on the new name why wont they go to the people of NWFP and ask them what name they will like to have for their province? It is the basic of democracy but our political parties understand democracy only to put them in the office.

And quite suddenly not only is there a Quetta shura, large as life itself, it has also been ‘significantly damaged’ by Pakistan’s security forces!

An excerption of a article in DAWN today. Our government was vigorously denying the being of Quetta Shura and now suddenly government not only has accepted the entity but also claimed that it has been badly damaged.Surprise after surprise how far we will go to please the Americans shamelessly.
