Ahmed Mukhtar stopped from leaving country
The News reports that The Supreme Court of Pakistan has struck down the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO), saying it is unconstitutional.
A 17-member bench, headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, in his short order, declared the ordinance as unconstitutional and illegal.
Earlier, during hearing of petitions against the NRO, the chief justice said even parliament has no right to change the basic structure of the constitution.
“In accordance to oath, we are committed to safeguard the constitution,” he remarked.
Earlier, the chief justice has warned the NAB Chairman Naveed Ahsan about a stern action if something false detected in the list. He ordered the NAB Chairman to sign the list if it was correct. On the court’s order, he signed the list.

Govt should have given its viewpoint on NRO: Aitzaz

We who seek to build democracy must not be bound by the false assertion that the rule of law is democratic. A re-examination of history teaches us that any powerful legal system is a massive fortress against popular sovereignty. One of our most important tasks is to revisit fundamental questions that were resolved by undemocratic means in the past.
Politicians like to say that the rule of law is a feature of democracy. The implication is that law is an unchanging set of principles that resolves conflicts impartially. But law is not impartial; it reflects the political and social biases of the legislators and judges who make it. Furthermore, law is not unchanging.
http://www.ratical.org/corporations/RoLvDem.html
Now this applies to the current Pakistani situation very well, the NRO case coming to the supreme court has shown complete failure of democracy and the parliament of Pakistan.
A parliament of personal servants, partners in crimes and men and women with no respect and regard or even common understanding of the people who elected them was and is the reason that the good people of Pakistan welcomed the dictatorships in the past.
Corrupt and characterless leaders who came into power to make their immediate families untold amounts of wealth, looted from the treasure of the country and were never able to even provide the basic necessities for the people were or even now are not trusted and well liked by the masses of Pakistan.
Pakistan supreme court sent the NRO back to the parliament to decide but the dung beetles and political prostitutes of Pakistan parliament did not have the courage to reject or accept the criminal law.
I will bet anything that if you do a referendum in Pakistan and ask them that would you like this current judiciary to run the government for next ten years compare to the failed, family and ethnic run political Mafias a great majority will say Yew!
Pakistani political parties should wakeup and be democratic within themselves and select the best people not the best slaves, servants, compromised criminals and prostitutes as their party leaders or members.
NRO should be the beginning of the end and from here onwards the Pakistani parliament should “free” the judiciary for the real role of interpretations of the laws of the land and prosecuting the criminals.
Whatever the decision will be, lets see that Zardari stays in power or not. We will also see if SC takes action against the people who registered political cases against their opponents?
I like govt stance as it did not want to be a party in the court. Lets court decide.
Aftab
Hopefull from this day onwards, we as a nation will no longer cry on 16th december and will celebrate the biggening of new Pakistan.

Ofcourse these king of corruption will try to use the sindh card..but I am sure majority of the people will not support them.
nobody supported them when BB was killed but then who is gonna stop them.
They will propably play the sindh card. I hope and pray to Allah that people will show some courage and if they can catch only a few culprits who try to sabotage peace of the city, and make example of them, no one ever wil try this game ever again.
Today, Admiral Mike Mullen, chairman of the US joint chiefs of staff meets Asif Ali Madari, what kind of message the American war machine giving to the Pakistan justice system?
Asif Ali Madari, who is not even welcome by Pak army in any military event, why the Americans are sending their top brass to a criminally insane and one of the most hated Pakistani leader in Pakistan?
Zardari is like a fat and happy spider, who has gotten so fat that it has lost the vision and is about to get stuck and die in its own web of lies and deceit.
This blind spider is attracting bigger venomous animals, which may be much bigger of a prey and may end up eating the Black “widow”(widow of the “Shaheed” BB) spider.

Hmmm…
Is the delay because of things going on outside the SC? Kiyani is meeting PM for the third time and meeting Mullen. Has the decision been conveyed to them? Probably… Are they asking SC for this bit of delay?? Just wondering….
@ fgkhan.
I think the govt/intelligence agencies should understand what the guys are planning. It is quite clear to the people at large that MQM wants to create a situation in which all Pakistanis (less mujahirs of Muhajir Qaumi Movement) & the army are pitted against these Muhajirs to further break-up the left-over Pakistan of 1971.
If God-forbid that happens then majority of Pakistanis feel that the MQM party’s post-holder/party-leader, Muhajirs should be sorted-out once for all, that such trouble-makers like Altaf Hussain/others should be physically eliminated so that they do not raise their ugly heads again.

I do not think so. May be Kiyani, Gilani and others are discussing different aspects of a possible decision and the situation of post decision, effects and the ways to control the situation.
i don’t think the decision is gonna be a big deal … they’ll just say NRO is “illegal” and then all the cases should be reopened … which is gonna take months and years just like previously

Bad News coming for Karachi….. there is been firing and closure of shops.. which has been pre planned. Police has been told to not interfere in sindh,,,,,,A small drama has been planned in Lahore and Multan ,, which Punjab Police has been ordered to tackle…..
we want to end the corruption for ever. no corrupt should go scath free.
ok guys, judges are back.
Apex court must consider public sentiments in province of sindh. 16 december 1971 and now 16 december 2009. Our elites have learned nothing. Nawaz sharif and musharaf and all other political parties politicians are totaly free of corruption and guilt during their tenure……..? No case no prosecution against them……? But today again province of sindh has to face another big blow as the decision is expected whether it derail this democratic system or not…….! Lets wait and watch. Some handful powerful players of our supreme authorities get pleasure for a while but remember we are forcing province of sindh out of federation by exercising and practicing such type of decisions by the powerful authority. I think we should learn from chaos in Balochistan and international powers involvement in Balochistan. So we must take in account our periphery and international scenario before announcement of decisions ilk of these. We must not kick sindh out of federation. Whatsoever we say here on different forums about zardari but he is most popular personality in sindh and pakistan too. But especialy in province of sindh he has got strong hold, dominant majority still love zardari. Recently approval of multi-criteria unanimous NFC award has created a wave of sympathy for zardari in smaller provinces of pakistan. It means attacking zardari is equal to attack on federation. So we must condemn every activity escalates against zardari and PPP for the sake of our beloved homeland pakistan. Hopefully our honorable cheif justice will do better for our country in the light of constitution and current national and international scenario. He reiterated that we won’t let this democratic system be derailed. He also censured assumptions and he said that we are custodian and bastion of democracy.
please keep updating…
In that way there is a serous threat to the democracy in Pakistan.

CASES RE ESTABLISHED
This Decision makes no sense to me…..Supreme Court wasted two precious weeks of the people of Pakistan.
They should have declared it Null & Void within one day of the proceedings…..
SO what did you get guys out of this…..Nothing…..
Zardari is the president of Islamic Republic of Pakistan and you can’t do anything about it.
The cases will go back to courts so if any of you zardari hater has any proof of his corruption; it is ur duty to give it courts. But hang on, u guys have no idea, u just follow propaganda and personal hatred…..sad…. pathetic….
The only way you will get rid of him is through political means. So get real. Support your candidate in the next election. Be democratic, use ur mind, don’t play in the hands of military and media propagandas.
congratulation to all..
In nearly 62 years our nation’s history, no doubt this is the most fearful period, when the courts HAVE JUST NOW DECIDED cancellation of NRO.
But our enemies led by the muhajirs of the Muhajir Qaumi Movement are hell-bent on playing their Sindh-Card to whip-up turmoil to break-up the left-over Pakistan.
Like it happened many times before in our short national history, let us not, for ALLAH’s sake & also for the sake of our children, keep our eyes ‘closed’ like that proverbial pigeon who does not open it’s eyes before the proverbial cat, fearing that if it does so, then the cat will pounce upon it.
Mind you, the news that these ‘Muhajirs’ are up to ‘something’ is NOT a good news. May Allah keep all Pakistan safe from it’s enemies. Ameen Suma Ameen.
Mr. Gayan, No one is saying that AZ should go. This decision will open his kalay kartoot along with his buddies.
NRO is dead. So the elections under NRO are also null and void. Time for Mid term elections…
SC also orders removal of NAB prosecutors.
Swiss cases also to be reopened.
I think Mr 10% will step down.Switzerland cases to start again.
@ GAYAN
You have no idea about what this decision means and what are the significance of it coming today on 16th Dec.
From today, Pakistan will start its journey to become sovereign nation. insha’Allah
@ninetykman
If u request/demand midterm election, thats ur right……
“No one is saying that AZ should go”

pakistan will rise again by the grace of Allah…..
the govt has lost its credibility…….all beneficiaries should resign and get themselves clear from all allegations imposed on them…..true or false.

By Rauf Klasra:
ISLAMABAD: In a country where over 40 per cent of the population is said to be languishing under the poverty line with families surviving on less than $2 a day, the shameful revelation of the filthy rich getting loans worth over Rs100 billion written-off owing to their formidable clout is shocking the nation. And this shameful list carries some of the biggest names of our power elite.
The names of Ch Shujaat and Ch Pervez Elahi were found among about 1,000 influential businessmen and Army men who got a total of Rs18 billion loans written-off from the government-owned banks during the first three years of the military government. The list was submitted in the NA when Zafarullah Jamali was the prime minister and Shaukat Aziz was the finance minister.
The first loan of Rs70 million was outstanding against the Punjab Sugar Mills and was written off by the National Bank of Pakistan along with the actual loan amount. The mill was owned by Chaudhry Shujaat Husssain, Chaudhry Mansoor Elahi, Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, Chaudhry Gulzar Mohammad, Chaudhry Wajahat Hussain, Chaudhry Sabhat Elahi, Mrs Qisara Elahi (wife of Chaudhry Pervez Elahi), Mrs Kasur Hussain (wife of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain), Mrs Khalida Begum (wife of Gulzar Muhammad).
The second loan of Rs15 million was written off by the UBL outstanding against Punjab Sugar Mills. The beneficiaries were once again Ch Manzoor Elahi, Ch Shujaat Hussain, Pervez Elahi, Wajahat Hussain, Shafaat Hussain, Gulzar Ahmed and Mrs Qaisra Elahi, Khalida Begum, and Kauser Hussain. The UBL once again wrote off another loan of Rs34.1 million outstanding against the Spaco Private Limited. The beneficiaries were the same — Ch Pervez Elahi, Shujaat Hussain, Manzoor Elahi, Wajahat Hussain, Sabahat Elahi, Mrs Kauser Hussain, Qaisra Elahi.
It may be added that these loans were written off after declaring their industrial establishments as “sick industry or on the pretext of bankruptcy.” Many of them denied having got their loans written-off.
The political sources claimed that Shahbaz Sharif and Nawaz Sharif knew this troubling fact about the Chaudhrys of Gujrat. Even Imran Khan had been showing the official documents of another bank, which had also written off loans to get the Chaudhrys disqualified from contesting the elections. But his desperate pleas were never entertained by the Election Commission of Pakistan courtesy the might and clout these cousins enjoyed during the early years of General Pervez Musharraf in power. The sources said, on the basis of their own knowledge about the Chaudhrys loan write off, the Sharif brothers were agitating the issue of loan write-off in the media with the public demand to put all the loan beneficiaries on trial after recovering the written-off amounts.
The mighty Chaudhrys of Gujrat — Ch Shujaat Hussain, Ch Pervez Elahi and their family members — reportedly got three different bank loans of Rs120 million written off from the National Bank and United Bank of Pakistan during their heady days of power. This has been revealed in the official record of the National Assembly library, which has now formally confirmed that several top politicians and their family members had quietly got several bank loans written off, which had been outstanding against their sugar and textile mills and other industrial units.
These bank loans were mainly written off by the state-run National Bank of Pakistan and United Bank Limited in the past. The official record available with The News, which was placed in the NA in the last one decade, revealed that a total of Rs30 billion loans were written off between 1985-2002, which had been outstanding against the top politicians and powerful industrial groups of the country. The list was compiled by the then caretaker government of 1993 led by Moin Qureshi.
In 2007, Auditor General of Pakistan revealed in its report that during the period 2002-2007, a sum of Rs54 billion was written off by Musharraf government. Thus, total figure had reached to Rs85 billions. But, now the recent official report to the NA during the question hour revealed that the total figure of written-off loans had finally crossed over Rs100 billion, after adding the loan amounts written off during two years of PPP government since 2008.
The official list of loan write-off beneficiaries of different periods since 1985 to 2002 revealed that former speaker Gohar Ayub Khan’s family and former Chief Minister Balochistan Jaam Yousuf, are also among other prominent politicians, who got the loans written off from the banks.
The three mighty business families of Pakistan are also among the beneficiaries of these loan write offs in the past. The former housing minister of General Pervez Musharraf -Abbas Sarfraz is also among the beneficiaries who got a massive loan against his sugar mill written off. Lt General Habibullah and Brig M Jan are among the list.
The Saifullah family of Lucky Marwat got four loans written off from different banks. The names of Anwar Saifullha Khan, Javed Saifullah, Hamayun Saifullah, Arbab Saddaullha Khan, Shah Jehan Khan, Nisar Khan are part of the list submitted in the NA in 1994 in response to a question by MNA Barjees Tahir. First, the Saifullah brothers got loans written off against their mill— Ms Kohat Textile Mills from the National Bank. The matriarch of the Saifullah family, Mrs Kalsoom Saifullah also got a loan of Rs12 million written off from NBP against Ms Frontier Towel Works, Kohat. Industrial bank also wrote off loan of Rs26 million of Javed Saifullah, Salim Saifullah, Hamayun Saifullah and others against Kohat Textile Mills. The MCB also wrote off loan against the Kohat Textile Mill. Jatoi family of Sindh also got a loan of Rs6.7 million written off from UBL. The beneficiary was Dr Ghafar Jatoi and his brothers. Leghari family also got Rs67 million loans written off from UBL. The beneficiaries included Jafar Khan Leghari, Jamil Ahmed Khan Leghari, Yousuf Khan Leghari, Tariq Khan Leghari, Atta Mohammad Leghari, etc.
Saigal group got the loan written off against Omaryar Limited, Lahore. The group got another loan of Rs4 million written off from the UBL.
A loan of Rs10.3 million was written off by Investment Corporation of Pakistan. Iqbal Z Ahmed, Mrs Saira Ahmed also got a loan of Rs5.5 million written off from United Bank of Pakistan. Another small loan of Rs1.4 million got written off from UBL against Hassan Ali and company. A loan of Rs18 million was also written off against Hashoo Holdings.
Meanwhile, investigations conducted by this correspondent after going through the official record of the National Assembly Secretariat, where all these loan documents were placed from time to time since 1994, even Daewoo Corporation of Pakistan was one of the beneficiaries of such big loans written-off by the government banks. National Bank of Pakistan had written off a loan of Rs10 million against Daewoo. The loan was outstanding against Kim Waoo Choong, Kim Joun Sung, Lee Woo Bok, Yoon Nuke NEON, Chui Myoung Kul.
The list showed that Karachi-based businessmen have been treated with exceptional kindness by the National Bank of Pakistan. According to the list of such people whose loans and principal amounts were written-off during the last three years, National Bank of Pakistan wrote off billion of rupees from taxpayers’ accounts. Most of the written-off loans went to the textile and industrial giants of the country owned by mighty businessmen, politically influential, former bureaucrats and military officers.
The big industrialists like Adamjee Industries owned by Farooq Sheikh, Mrs Shireen Farooq, Mumtaz Sheikh, Tahir Sheikh got Rs448 million written-off from the NBP. Mohib Textile owned by Asif Saigol also got Rs1.1 billion written-off in 2002.
The other big names included in the list are First Tawakkal Modaraba owned by Abdul Qadir Tawakkal, Mohammad Rafiq Tawakkal, Alif Husain Mooney, Abid Hussain Rs621 million written-off, National Frutctose Limited owned by Shairullah Durrani got Rs681 million written-off, Glamour Textile Mills owned by Iftikhar Ahmed Malik got Rs533 million written-off and others. Two foreign nationals also got the loans written-off.
Pakland Cement got Rs10 million written off, Cast N Link owned by Anwar Ahmed got Rs159 million written-off. Taha Spinning limited got Rs64 million written off.
Following is the list of mighty individuals and business tycoons whose loans were written-off in majority of cases along with principal amount from National Bank of Pakistan (NBP).

Long live Pakistan
Congratulation to all fellows. I hope this is the arise of new dawn for our beloved country. Incidently today is the day when Pakistan was disintegrated in 1971, and I am sure this decision will play its role to integrate our country . Now every hope is towards Supreme Court because our politicians (with some exceptions) and establishment miserably failed to take any positive decision. Even today when S.C was going to give this memorable and historical decision, they were meeting their master Micheal Moolen to save themselves.
We desperately need a genuine and sincere leadership apart from Supreme Court because Mr. Chaudhry is not a political figure, I still do not think Mr. 100% will quit his office, even his counterparts like Rehman Malik, Babar Awan etc will try to stick to their seats. Now its time for us to support our independent courts and throw these thugs out of their office. I still think mid term is the only democratic solution.
Long Live CJ and Long live Pakistan.

great decision, it will move forward step by step. we are hopeful for a better, corruption free Pakistan.
@ninetykman
I think we dont need to move for mid term elections, I think we need to assert for corruption free society.
This is the day I have been waiting for, for my friends and family and the countrymen/women of Pakistan. A great day in the history of Pakistan.
This shows the resilience of the Pakistani people and a light at the end of a sixty years long tunnel of corruption, mismanagement, loot, robbery, plunder, target killings, political murders, political assassinations and fraudulent elections. I am so happy for the people of Pakistan and proud of the Supreme Court and the lawyers movement.
Pakistani people have suffered like no other people in the world from their criminal politicians, military brass, bureaucracy and the public officials. They were treated like hordes of sheep, were slaughtered on the alter of greed on daily basses and were treated like orphans. The supreme court is acting like the Parents they were looking for in the leadership.
May god keep the fatherly hand of the supreme court for the coming future and get the children, the Pakistani people a fighting chance for the love and affection they truly deserve from the institutes of the country, rather than abuse and molestation, they have been receiving from the hands of the political, justice and administration in the Past.
May God give Pakistani people some relief from the vultures, wolfs, hyenas, packs of political family dogs and heartless, soulless, fearless Gods of corruption and Dracula’s of greed. People like Bilawal Bhutto, who knowingly has been Brest fed on the blood of the poor and living large by selling the crushed bones, and human misery , should be declared demonic offspring and should not be allowed to step-in the country, they have been sucking the blood off, without due justice.
The whole race of these children and their families, who enjoyed the misery, death, poverty, poor health, malnutrition, robbing the majority from basic education for their “most expensive education around the world for few”, haplessness, economic migration of millions should be expelled from the country or should be allowed to live in the ghettos of Pakistan for rest of their life as a punishment as social workers.
We have been ruled by snakes and the baby snakes who have drunk the milk of corruption and loot of the poorest people in the world in style, have developed the venom of lies, deceit, shamelessness, arrogance and superiority complex. We must defang the parents along with the baby snakes before allowing them back in to the society.
yes mujtaba ali , mein Khush Hoon.
@waqar, guard of honour Zardari ne nahi Kiyani ne diaa thaa.
I must also congratulate PPP government and leadership for taking an ideal stand on NRO.
Pakistan has come a long way.
PPP has again proven its commitment to Pakistan and democracy.
SC should not take up submarine deal case and punish elements of establishment that made millions of dollars and were allegedly involved in suicide bombing.
A historic decision by SCP. Now Zardari is acting the same way, Musharraf was acting when he was about to resign. But Zardari is not going to give up easily. Afterall, PPP has given so many sacrifices for “democracy”. Pakistan Zindabad
Congratulation to the whole nation
Pakistan Zindabad
I agree with one of the commentator that PPP government should be given credit especially to Prime Minister who has made sure to remain impartial and neutral during all this process and let the Court take its decision.
So this decision has strengthened the democracy rather than to threaten to derail it until and unless we say democracy just consists of Zardari and he feels threatened to be derailed.
This is what democracy is about and it should be a lesson to Zardari also that when he was negogiating with Musharraf instead of insisting on NRO to get off the hook of his looted wealth he should have concentrated on getting benefit for his party.
He has tried to play every dirty card including Sindh Card and lately through his Barrister Kamal Azfar tried to say that GHQ and CIA are out to throw him out. He doesnt realise that he has made the biggest blunder in saying that because he has done nothing but increased hatred from everyone.
I just want to ask one simple question. From where did he get all his wealth. Either he should deny it completely or accept and the fact that he used NRO clearly speaks that after all there is something to hide.
Salute to Supreme Court for handing down a historic decision.

AZ should resign now. Get himself cleared and then run for election again. Senate chairman who is also from PPP must become acting president.
Next :
Bring the person to justice who Issued NRO and molested constitution several times. MUSHARRAF must be the next.

Well said, @Bawa. He should go to US and join in with his buddy in crimes, Mush Commando, as an expert on fighting the “Religious Fundamentalist Islamic Terrorism”, he will mint money and be on the Western media day and night.
It is utterly a shameful gesture on his part to meet Asif Ali Madari, the sock puppet of his real masters, the American military industrial complex, along with his “Master Blaster” of the poor Muslim people, the in charge of two illegal massacres and continual illegal attacks on the country of Pakistan, Admiral Mike Mullen, chairman of the US joint chiefs of staff.

This is historical decision as expected but This is neither against Govt nor against AZ,because I think Neither PPP led Govt not AZ ever opposed this decision in SC.PM and President said that they will honour the verdict. Now cases are open,PPP never shy away from state sponsored manipulated cses against PPP leadership and workers,Now as per SC verdict Cases are open, but for you info ” Cases against PPP leadership are NEVER proved any court of Law,so one can allege them but cant call them CONVICTED”.Any one can be alleged, but conviction is important.Since PPP has always suffered at the hands of Establishment forces, and always come back in power with support of PPP.If you like it or not, even in the presence of this NRO,ppl voted for PPP in most of provinces.Even after the annulation of NRO,ppl will elect PPP inspite of Establishment sponsored Propaganda or policies. Finally,I think,as per constitution,PPP led Govt has legtimate right to govern the state for given period, any effort to dislodge PPP will neither bring good for democracy nor for state as whole. We may not like face of AZ but we have to respect his mandate.
Thnx
Long Live “The Supreme Court”. Certainly a historic decision!

just met gunjo ( nawaz sarif ) at heathrow. I don’t know why this hypocrite came to london. He should be in pakistan at this historic moment .
Dont be so happy people. These baighairat criminals will never resign.
SC has issue the order but will the govt act. Will the criminal interior minister take action against himself. Never.
Has any govt. minister have the moral courage to say I am resigning and will come back after getting cleared from the courts.

Such a big hype for a very simple decision which says “NRO is Null and Void”. Every one is making this a very big deal out of small decision. Before consider that Zardari is gone and will be punished we should also consider that as well
1. Govt. didnt even defend NRO in these 2 weeks
2. Now it will take years if cases are reopened in Swis court.
3. Zardari is a president and he cant be called to SC until he is president.
4. Now people of other province should also get ready for saying “Pakistan nakhappay” from Sindh province after that judgment.
5. All of them are accused not proved criminals(except of few).
6. Govt. cant be changed as election commission cant even organize election in 3 seats.
7. PPP and all their partners have developed some working relation and GHQ cant interfere into this until operation.
8. Their is a possibility that in order divert attention from bomb blast and security issues this had been designed.
Asif Zaradari leaves for UK.
He will be attending Parent Teacher meeting at Bilawal’s college – Farhatullah Babar
@Mullah
Ganju is confused about what to do.
He has to wait for instructions from Washington whether to go after Zardari or support “democracy”

Many things have happened during this year which were never supposed to happen. So keep your hopes alive
You will see at least ministers/ambassadors resigning or being fired in days to come. At the very most, they will be given a face saving exit by holding a farce on Saturday during CEC meeting. No sindhi “topi drama” is going to save their a$$ this time. When SC can fire NAB chairman, prosecutor general and his deputy then it can do the same for ministers either. Look at it with the same importance when SC gave 4 months time to govt in July to clean up the mess which by its shear incompetency is made even worse. I don’t think govt has that much time this time around and just by looking at the frequency of gilani-kiyani meetings now a days, I am assuming most ministers will not see their offices by year end.
Zardari is not not going to step down as he is enjoying full US and military support. Army chief wants to complete ongoing operation in fata and Zardari is the best choice to complete this mission.

Congratulations to all Pakistanis on this historic verdict
this decision is a lollipop to zerdari haters, nothing more than that, now be happy for few days, poor fellows.
@bechari-awam
Nothing will be changed because current ministers(with criminal records) are dealing with all the issues surrounding Pakistan and if they got changed then new minister has to start from beginning and until he come up with strategyand decision it would be too late for this Govt. and Pakistan to act on that decision. Sindhi topi is not a joke and at the time of BB’s assassination even PPP workers start shouting “Pakistan nakhappay” in the streets of Karachi and other parts of Sindh and burned more then 700 cars in Karachi alone. They were calm down by Zardari after becoming co chairman of PPP and beside PPP Sindhis have no other choice to support anyone in Pakistani politics they would start supporting nationalist like JSKM, Sindh taraqi pasand etc and most of them demand “Sindhudesh”. SC can take many decision in their jurisdiction but they cant take decision beyond their jurisdictions and they still cant effect Govt. Gillani-Kiyani meetings are mostly based on security issues and operation. NRO is legal issue not military issue so Kiyani’s advice on NRO would be worthless and Zardari-Aitazaz meetings are taking place for this purpose and it might be possible that Zardari would like Aitazaz to represent him in NRO cases or recommend him a person and act as an advisor.
The SC judgment means that Zardari is a CONVICTED CRIMINAL … The Swiss conviction has been re-instated.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/3125277.stm
Swiss judge convicts Bhutto
A judge in Switzerland has found former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto and her husband, Asif Zardari, guilty of money laundering.
Investigation Judge Daniel Devaud in Geneva sentenced them to a six-month suspended jail term, fined them $50,000 each and ordered they pay more than $2m to the Pakistani Government.
He said they had illegally deposited millions of dollars in accounts in Switzerland, and ordered the money be returned to Pakistan.

NRO is legal issue not military issue so Kiyani’s advice on NRO would be worthless and Zardari-Aitazaz meetings are taking place for this purpose and it might be possible that Zardari would like Aitazaz to represent him in NRO cases or recommend him a person and act as an advisor.

” ALHAMDU-LILLAH”
Congratulation to fellow citizens and the sventeen honorable judges of Supreme Court of Islamic Republic of Pakistan. New era in the history of Pakistan has ushered in.
KALA SHAH KALA QANOON (NRO) has bee struck down by the Supreme Court. Nation is thankful to these judges for the correct verdict.
Sharifuddin Pirzada, Abdul Qayyum and many others are the main architect of this filthy ordinance, which was then promulgated by the criminal dictator Mush to prov ide releif to many corrupts like R Malak and Mr Zardari.
Now It’s incumbant upon the these judges is to begin trial against these criminals. I hope that Qayyum, Pirzada and finally Musharraf will be summoned soon to face the court.

Its not Niaz A Naik but actually Farooq H Niak.
Niaz was murdered a few months ago in Islamabad along with his wife probably by his servant in a cold blooded manner and his and his wife’s body was found few days later.
Farooq H Niak is Senate Chairman.
A very welcomed verdict, I wish and pray it’s would be a new dawn for Pakistan. And if we couldn’t see a great Pakistan in our lives our new generation do not suffer from these corrupts. But I am sorry to say it’s might be my dream, we have seen the SC decision on sugar prices, our Govt., opposition and mill owners everyone was involved to joking court decision. I am afraid once again our corrupt army generals, corrupt politician and corrupt bureaucracy will make hurdle and once again cases will stay pending in lower courts years and years
I am the person who still believes if our Army General’s would be fair, corruption free and honest, no body can dare to do corruption. Imagine if a ISI or MI chief call IG police of any province and threat them, “if there will be any corruption complaint in your department you would be suspended and face a prosecution” then you see how fast changes comes there, but what happening now, they call civil servants and ask them favors this party or this person, no body care how much they corrupt.
Despite all that’s fears I salute SC judges they awarded a great gift and pleasure to this unfortunate nation
It is a new day. Congratulations.
Alhamdulilah. Congratulations to All. long Live Pakistan
Judges Zindabad
Now it is clear why AZ did his best not to resotre CJ.
The single purpose -
-for the promulgation of this NRO by the USA and UK through the tin pot dictator Musharraf was to prevent and suppress the political independence of the people of Pakistan .
So everyone must keep in mind that NRO was a craetion of the WEST to keep it’s cronies in power so that they would continue to use Pakistan as a client and lackey state . This means that Musharraf is a traitor and so is the PPP and it’s leaders.
Anyone who has tried or continues to try to support this govt: must look at their face in the mirror-( e,g; PML-N and Nawaz Shareef).

The decision is good only if we consider it as a first episode of a serial that would conclude on getting rid of all corrupt people regardless of their camp or creed.
I see the current decision in a way which can be explained by the analogy that if it is clear that the surgeon is not qualified and rather have a bogus degree but after hearing you still let the surgeon continue performing brain surgery !!
Therefore, it is sad to see that although judiciary did declare that the corrupt people benefited and it is a bad law but there has been no concrete punitive measures taken. The logical consequence was that the decision should have included a part declaring all those disqualified for public office who had any conviction at the promulgation of NRO. Just suggesting some action against Malik Qayuum and NAB officials is clearly punishing the punishable and leaving the un-touchable. I am sorry to see the decision this way and hope it was clear and reflective of “Andha Insaaf” but clearly the judges had a soft hand for the hard stuff of the tough corners of power corridor.

@S Kamal
The court could not do it because that would have been travesty of law as the people who benfited from NRO were accused and not convicted. So until they are convic ted in a court of law they are presumed to be innocent. That what the Pakistan law states and that is what the consitution states. To let the accused off the hook by a law like NRO is no doubt a crime but that does not mean they have commited a crime also – until they have exhausted all the avenues open to seek justice for the accusations that have been made against them. So the Court in no way could declare NRO beneficiaries as convicted – it could only open up the cases so that the law can take its due course which now it will. Thats why it ordered for Swiss cases to be opened up but that does not mean that Zardari has been convicted of any crime. There is no doubt he will be in future but until then he should be presumed to be innoncent under the eyes of the law of Pakistan as it is his funadmental right to defend himself in any court of law if any accusation is made against him.
Ofcourse there is no doubt that he is guilty otherwise why would he have asked from withdrawal of Swiss cases because one court he would have expected full justice would have been Swiss court even if he thought a Pakistani court might be biased against him. He has yet to deny any of the Swiss accounts in his name plus he has yet to deny the allegation by Ansar Abbasi about his geting 300 acre of land in Islamabad through a front man. That man has come in open and Zardari hasnt sued him as yet.
So lets not rush and let the courts decide – the process of pursuance of course of justice is as important as the end result – meaning the judgement.
By the way not all brain tumours are amenable to surgery – in some cases you have to chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

What was role of Gen. Kayani in NRO and why, it can’t be specified! At that time it was a very difficult situation, it was quite important to get rid of Musharraf who had brought country almost on the end, so this was one way to move ahead, i think. NRO iss say pehlay kay haraam key barray main tha!
Well, who knows what the intention of Mr. Kayani was? it is very much possible that he wanted to come forward to do good for the country and its people and had not greed for the post! His positive actions on all fronts so far show that he is a sincere and fair man.
Do bear in mind that because of removal of Musharraf, somehow country and system started to move ahead, political system started to function somewhat and Judiciary was restored and so on, and that NRO today has been canceled by the Judiciary…. iss tarah saanp bhi mar gia or laathi bhi nahin tooti!
Pakistan Army has been fighting against anti-Pakistan forces and they have given all kinds of sacrifices for that including people of high ranks. Army has worked positively for the strengthening of political system. Last but not least it was active and positive role of Gen. Kayani along with Nation which resulted in restoration of Chief Justice and his Companions!
I hope and pray that this decision against NRO proves a big step in curbing the corruption and injustice in Pakistan. It is good decision but still there are many challenges and more fights are waiting but we will, with our determination and help of Allah(SWT), succeed.
Even though PPP have most of the state machinery under they belt, these cells will keep some sought of check and balance over who they appoint as Prosecutors
and whether the documents that go back to the Switzerland authority have been tampered with in anyway. It will be interesting to know who is appointed as prosecutors and what they credentials, the media has big part to play.
Zardari and Co will try all sorts to get out of it but eventually they will have to do Hands Up. The interesting thing for me is what happens when cases of the bureaucrats are dealt with and what comes out closet from them guys will be fascinating.
Zardari won’t quit: Babar
Commenting on the Supreme Court’s mood on President Zardari’s cases, he said the court’s orders about the removal of the NAB chief and the bureau’s prosecutor-general, and the re-opening of his Swiss case hinted at the mood of the apex court.
Former chief justice Saeeduz Zaman Siddiqui said the president had no immunity under Article 62 in cases in foreign countries.

aap ki tabiat waqtan fawaqtan kharab ho jaati hey bawa sarkaar! I think only you know what is right and what wrong or? I have mentioned that it was not clear what his role was, we just can speculate and make guesses! How would you define that what a person can do under oath? I have mentioned that it was a difficult situation and it was necessary to break the deadlock.
Almost everybody knew about accounts of corruption of Zardari and even those who elected him as president but one can’t do all the things all the time, it takes time and efforts! Have you forgotten that people voted again for the PPP although being aware of their corruption! So ask people to resign also! Similarly, it was not always possible to remove or stop Musharraf to do all what he did, it takes time, in army it is also important to obey the Chief and unfortunately army got a wrong person in the form of Musharraf.

@Bawa, I agree with your sentiments towards General Kiyani , but you are asking too much from a chief justice who was humiliated by a sitting army chief and was imprisoned.
He is not Moses that he can throw his cane and it will swallow all the Pak Army top brass. As long as the army stay’s neutral and stay busy with its mercenary duties for the West, we should strengthen the democracy first and cleanup the mess.
Army should take heed from the fact that they will be accountable if they interfere in the public affaires and once we have a true peoples Parliament, we can start controlling the military budget and hierarchy with strong Parliamentary committees.
One step at a time my overly excited brother……It’s not a good time to start a war with the ethnic mafia’s of Sindh, MQM , the Taliban’s and the Pak army top brass at the same time. It is a wishful and idealistic dream one can only conceive from the safe haven of Canada from a comfortable home and belly full of food.

Zardari will be spending time in Swiss jail soon.
Maybe other countries’ will also fight over who gets the honor of keeping him
Lets just go beyond our disappointment of many yesteryears with politicians and their greedy corruption.
I think our court is the first one to throw a slap across the face of George Bush or shall I say a shoe!. After all it was him and Condi Rice who together with the Saudi pimp called their King who told Musharraf to offer amnesty to Banezir, if my memory serves me right. I am of course giving you a very brief synopsis of this. But the elections of 18 February were heavily influenced by the Americans.
If only the judiciary keeps a good eye on our politicians till next elections I think there may be a hope for all of us peace loving people.

“Eternal Vigilance is the price of liberity” and we all should guard the democratice values and our liberty jealously. Our judiciary and media led by brave Geo News are the torch bearer in this grand fight and march towards emancipation and peoples’ empowerment. I also pay salute to MQM who refused to side with PPP in parliament on NRO which led to this historic decision. Now MQM has to face more than 7000 reopened cases but the party has taken a giant leap vis-a-vis its perceptive change of image. Well done MQM and Altaf Hussain.
Please dont think in parochial terms like discrimination against Sind etc and lets all rejoice in this great moment. This is how democracy works and this is the way to block the way of undemocratice forces like military coups. Today’s democracy is different than the democracy of 1990s; contrast Geo with PTV, Dogar courts with Iftikhar courts. Today my tail is up and i see a ray of hope for myself and my children and grand children in Pakistan.
In today’s Pakistan i can see vibrancy duly exibited in the public support for the deceased Imman Malik, Danyial Aziz and the Nazims leading a successful movement for Local Govt system, Geo crossing Red Lines in defence of democracy, Altaf Hussain and ANF openly talking about the religious madness. I am really happy, to say the least.

@ ninetykman/aftab.
A decision of removal/departure of your friend AZ (Asif Zardari) to ‘no-where’/behind bars, seems to be very much imminent.
If that is what the WHOLE NATION IS EXPECTING & WANTS at this-point-in-time, then I am afraid that a decision has to be taken. The guy ‘AZ’ could be either my blood relation or yours (while, luckily he is NOT my friend/relation.)
I do not care even if he was EVER KNOWN to me, BUT HE MUST BE BOOKED by the police, as RIGHT NOW, the interest of the whole nation is INVOLVED & IS DEPENDENT UPON IT.
(I am sorry,if at all, he happens to be either your friend/relation/party-man or a a close well-wisher.)
BUT REMEMBER THE INTEREST OF THE NATION IS SUPREME.

Glad you included Aitzaz in the list. Aitzaz was all over the channels trying to protect AZ.
– He was insistent Zardari has immunity because he is ‘President’
– He even said the Swiss case cannot be re-opened because Zardari is ‘President’ and international law will not allow it.
– He insisted he will continue to support Zardari
– He isisted Zardari stay in office till he completes his term
the popular figure aitzaz ahsan should never support zardari ….the way he is supporting him continuosly ..he will lose his credibility..
he should not do any thing which degrade him.
general kiani is equal partener with zardari, naik party to bring this NRO……as bawa said before
i 100% agree with bawa’s comments.
Bracketing Aitzaz Ahsan (AA) with PPP crooks is the height of paranoi, consipracy theory given mindset and the fact that we never see the things in the right context. What else do you expect from AA after his role in restoration of democracy. AA is someone who we all should be all proud of. He risked everything, his political/ legal careers and personal/ family prestige during the Movement for Restoration of Democracy. He fought hard within the party as well and won his CEC membership. He is the sole stalwart in PPP to lead it at this moment if Zardari fades out.
Who can deny the fact that Zardari has constitutional immunity under article 248 and AA is simply explaining that. If there is another petition challenging that in the Apex Court tomorrow, I am sure AA would say that Apex Court has the jurisdiction to adjudicate on that in the given scenario. So plz give us a break on this and dont confuse the readers of this site without your lopsided comments. You need to look beyond your nose to see the real AA. I am proud of him and he is my hero.
there is picture in jang newspaper,in that picture asif zerdari sitting on president chair, infront kiani sitting obediently and general mike mullen sitting other side.that picture make it clear zerdari has no danger and will stay president beyound 5 years.zerdari haters cant stage a single protest,i just wonder how they can dream the ouster of zerdari.

@Bawa
totally agree with you, Kiyani is also responsible for this deal. Chief sahib and other generals never thought about Pakistan when Musharaf violated Pakistan’s constitution two times, rigged elections and prolonged his tenure for ten years.
They only decided to bring NRO when Mush was in trouble from Lawyers, civil society and politicians. This shows the sincerity of top brass towards Pakistan. Now chief sahib knows that this is the time to stay low and play games behind the curtains, may be for 7 or 8 more years and then some general will be back to “sort out” the problems of this country.
A judical revoloution is taking place..seems to be Pakistani finelly getting there tax money back for corroupt mafia
ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Thursday issued a contempt notice to Interior Minister Rehman Malik in the Pakistan Steel Mills case and has directed him to appear before the court on December 24.
Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry earlier expressed his displeasure over ‘interference’ by the interior minister.
Justice Chaudhry also said former DG FIA Tariq Khosa should be reinstated to his post until investigations are completed in the cases he was looking at. — DawnNews

Zardari MAY escape to U.K or to ‘hell’ & to which our nation does not care. I strongly believe that one of these days all past corrupt people will be netted & brought back home to face justice by the people of Pakistan; & if nothing else then ALLAH is always watching. Where will they escape-to? Wether it be Zardari, Musharaf or any other coward guy.
Notice will be issued to NRO beneficiaries on Monday
Government is facing immense pressure from apex court to follow the orders, if cases against President Asif Ali Zardari will not be re-open inaccording to court orders the prime minister could face charges of contempt of court.

Congratulations to all on this Historical decision……But i’m just thinking if these corrupt people will resign just like that!!! I think even with the NRO disposed, it will take a years to get this parasites convicted!!!
I am very glade because of judiciary’s independent decision for NRO. Mr. Rehman Malik should resign now as he interferred to the Supreme Court work. He had transferred to Mr. Khosa when the case was in high peek. I want to know the comments of my favorite self style SUFI Mr. Babar Awan sahib. God Bless Pakistan.
The Supreme Court should put heavy pressure on the govt & to bring all it’s it’s officials under stress to SHOW to the nation, RECEIPTS OF RETURN billions of monies, equivalent to Pak Rs, Us $, or U.K pounds , stashed/ hoarded in foreign banks abroad, & thus prove it’s deliverance into the state coffers.
It should THEN ENSURE, that the same monies are JUDICIOUSLY spent on the common people & on the welfare of the same ‘Ghareeb Awam’ who have, since 1947, been properly rogered by the Elite Class.
@ Blackhawk12.
A judicial revolution IS NOT ONLY taking place but it HAS ACTUALLY TAKEN PLACE. A good news for the nation.
lastest news is ………. Sindh Assembly unanimously approves resolution in the favour of Pee-resident AZ.

If these corrupt people resign then other corrupts will join the Govt. and came up with scheme “karz utaro mulk sawaro”. Nothing will change except of faces in Govt. People dont know who is good and who is bad, people only knows who is popular and influencial and who is bhoka nanga. You are right even if NRO disposed off it will take years to get this parasite convicted. All his accounts are in Swiss banks and Govt. need to reopen those cases and start things from beginning and have to spend millions for Swiss lawyers to handle those cases, if something is possible it is all those who are already convicted should resign and face their convictions but we all know all of them are the federal ministers and SC cant pressurize them. Only hope in this case for Pakistan is parliament and lets hope that someone from coalition(MQM, ANP, JUI) stands up against them this is the only possible way to get rid of them.
Good news Tariq Khosa has been re-instated as DG FIA
@Waqar ur Rehman
“I dont know how to comment……….”
Just accept the fact that zardari is president through legitimate channels and has a very strong backing of his party and supporters.
Even this forum has some suppotrt for him…..
…..sorry, i know how u feel………
Excellent news, may Allah bring these culprits to justice. Amin.
Punishment is on later stage but all the looted money should bring back to Pakistan, there should be fair investigation of all scandals…..
@sabazbagh
If i remeber correctly i told u that this decision will have no value and effect on Govt/zardari……
As i said earlier ….even Maja and Gama knew this will be the decision…….
This decsion has further united ppp and support of zardari has increased within his supporters, who strongly belive that it is a clear victimisation…..cuperem ciurt is ignoring the crimes of Musharruff, army, MQM and going after PPP Govt….not right……
Yesterday BOLTA PAKISTAN, please see what Nusrat said about supreme court….i echo that……
peace….
@ Gayan……i am really surprised on your gayan
and i also accept the fact that Zardair is president through legitimate channels but do really think that his corruption is also legitimate???
My point was the timing of this resolution shows what kind of confidence………is it against Supreme court…….or they want to show that corruption is their right as your ministers accept……
I damn care who supports him or who does not……..what i care is whoever is involved in corruption either he is AZ or NS or Altaf he should be answerable
i will simply suggest you to see atleast last 10 minutes of Dunya Today’s yesterday show and listen carefully what Anwar baig is saying……….
@gayan/hasankhan
Keep dreaming.
You better make sure all your payments are cleared from Zardari House before he takes off.
Or you better start showing up for your job in PIA, KESC, SUI Gas before all the Jiayalas get fired through another SC ruling.
Please do not take offence. But this is way, PPP keeps its support in ‘masses’ by offering them money, plots, or jobs with no consideration of merit and no requirement of performing.
Another interesting ruling by SC today:
SC has ordered DG FIA Tariq Khosa restored. Remember he was removed by PM Gilani — Yes, not Zardari, but Gilani — for uncovering the new Steel Mills Scam and “has been removed because he was causing a lot of problems for the land’s mightiest and their friends involved in multi-billion rupee money laundering operations, human smuggling, bank fraud and other big time crimes.” Of course such a thing could not be allowed to continue (by Nawaz’s pal) Gilani and he had him “unceremoniously dismissed…during his speech in the National Assembly.“ before Khosa could “follow the law and arrest all those officials of the PSM who were found guilty of corruption in the inquiry report, including the former PSM chairman”
What excuse did Gilani use against Khosa? Well, “Inefficiency” of course.
“The chief justice expressed displeasure and said Tariq Khosa should be restored today so that he will complete investigations of Steel Mills, Haris Mills and other cases. The court has also cancelled interior ministry notification for the formation investigation team. The court issued contempt of court notice to Interior Minister Rehman Malik and directed to submit reply December 24“

@ gayan.
Welcome back with your crisp comments which give me a ‘crunchy’ feeling of ‘snap of dry leaves underfoot.’
I was looking forward to hearing from you as I was under an impression that you had left for consultations with a PPP sage/stalwart before deciding to revert back to these columns.
I am sorry, I cannot help informing you that since yesterday, while the ‘Judgment’ was ‘being discussed’ before it’s actual announcement, I started to have a very unexplainable & an ‘eerie feeling of stillness in the woods’ against your ‘beloved’ leader, i.e; the President MAY BE, (SOONER THAN LATER,) ‘shown the door’?
Frankly tell me, is it me alone who had such feelings or was it the same with nearly everybody/majority of us, Pakistanis? Some of very close confidants of mine also expressed similar feelings, which were akin to the period before ‘BB’ was murdered & again when Musharaf was planning to escape abroad.
The above reminds me — Let’s not blame Zardari only. Gilani is no less guilty. Remember all those corrupt ministers belong to HIS cabinet and he has not fired a single one. It is his wife who hasn’t paid back a loan worth ~Rs 500 Million. It is he who today occupies a couple of houses gifted to him by Mush’s buddy — the owner of the famous Husnain construction.
mr,ifthkhar u r a justice not a king, stay under ur limmit.when mushrraf kicked u and arrested u it was ppp who released u.if zerdari kicked u now ,no one fr computer addicts will come to rescue u.ur job is to give the justice ,not to rule the country.

Discalimer (for the empty headed only): I do not support in any way, PML-N, PPP or MQM
Guys corruption is everywhere – in every country – its the laws that matter – the most important thing that matters is that when u are caught do u suffer the consequences or not – in Pakistan u can get away with anything u have done but in West u cannot. Thats the only difference.
I live in Ireland and here also we hear stories of corruption by the politicians – two years ago Prime Minister of Ireland Bertie Ahern had to resign because he had taken 300000 pounds from his friend 14 years before that when he was not even in power and had deposited in a bank and he could not account for how did he get it. The probable reason was that at that time he was undergoing separation from his wife and for legal reason he borrowed that money from his friend and did not want to show it. But he was accused that he had tried to take a bribe from this friend. After 14 years – after thrice being elected Prime Minister of Ireland and a very successful one – he had to resign.
So what I am saying that if we make our media and judiciary strong Inshallah we would be able to control corruption to a large extent – although it cannot be eliminated completely.
Recently many MPs in House Of Commons were caught for submitting excessive expenses to the House of Common Committee for reimbursement and it was leaked by Daily Telegraph and many of them had to resign – the biggest resignation was that of House of Commons Speaker – unheard of in last three hundred years. Its another thing that Prime Minister Gordon Brown got him elected to House of Lords. Politicians are by nature corrupt but we have to make difficult for them.
The good thing about judgement of Supreme Court is that now no one can feel safe to do corruption and get away with it. If President Zardari chooses to hang on to his job – he can do so – but whats the use because he has lost all the respect and moral authority and in fact it rather confirms that he has something to hide thats why he is hiding behind the immunity. If he is clean and everything was engineered against him then he should trust Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry’s court and should come forward to prove his innocence. But he never will because he is no doubt guilty. Let him stay in Presidency and for the rest of his tenure get the abuses and curses of the people of Pakistan. That is what he deserves.
In House of Commons of UK
Husband of one of the MP had actually claimed money for hiring porno movies to watch at home and he had the audicity to actually submit that in his claim in front of House of Commons and it causes so much embarrassment to his wife that he had to resign. Another MP of Pakistan origin Shahid Malik also had to resign because he was claiming on a second home when he had actually rented that to another money and had also claimed for a plasma TV for this home.
So we dont have angels anywhere – just humans – the only way to deal with their mistakes is to make the insitutions and systems strong.
sorry – she had to resign
People of Pakistan in general want that country is freed from corruption and evil shackles so i think we should not compromise on this issue. Mr. Zardari was given a good chance to serve country as president, but he has spoiled that chance miserably! He did not stop with his old habits so why should he be protected anymore?
It is not against honor of Pakistan if we punish corrupt elements! I feel it is real disgrace to have corrupt people as our representative! Justice should be done without any party, group, ethnicity etc discrimination, even judiciary is also accountable in front of nation and Allah(SWT).

Hopefully Zardari will be taken to the gallows.
While a president is in office, no criminal case can be initiated or continued against him in any court.
The constitution only protects Mr 10% from criminal prosecution – NOT CIVIL CASES
There’s no immunity from civil cases.
@Pakistani
“Abb choor aur dakoo ko prophet to nahin kaha ja sakta.” U r right,No one is above law, either he is Punjabi or Sindhi,Pushto or Baluchi etc.But Considering all evil related to PPP esp leadership of PPP,then it means there is some fishy,It seems that All the worst is PPP leadership while all Pious leadership is from Punjab based Parties. There is dichtomy,A Sindhi PM was hanged by nexis of Judiciary and Military,Now even Judges on record say,it was wrong and forced decision. While Sharif flied easily, signed a deal (NRO),no hue and cry on his deal,no NRO problem,No prison because He is from Punjab??? While AZ suffered several years in prison,BB was killed in Pindi. The Death bodies come from Punjab..What a Federalism. If we do YES to all things of Military and Punjabi brothers, then we are Pakistani,we are good,we are patroitic..If you think so that Nations build upon heaps of Weapons, military pressures and Monopoly, then bro u are utterly wrong. Moreover Agencies and Military which is full from ppl of Punjab also need to come out of Punjabism and learn to respect sentiments of every one.SIndh based leadership talks about federation, what ever u name them, hate them, abuse them or criticise them) but THEY ARE ELECTED ppl. They have to right to govern, this is called Democracy.Every time, democracy takes first steps, some misventures comes and derails whole system.
One more point, who many times PMLN leadership visited SIndh,They hardly come out from Jaati umaro, see the TOP 50 leaders of PMLN,u’ll find 95 percent from Punjab,HAVE THEY TRIED TO make any base in SIndh??? PTI has the same record,IK hardly visits SIndh, people have only few choices,PPP,Mqm Mafia,PMLQ Wadeeras cum looters and now after long pause Nationalist leaders have decided to take part in Election.Lets see who situation turns in SIndh. If PPP fails to deliver, only alternative is Nationalist parties.
FInally,Let me clear,Its federation of every one,SIND is NOT COLONY of any one,Sindh is equal stake holder of this federation, dont PUSH HARD or CORNER federal voice in Sindh, otheriwise the silent volcano of mistrust, dissatisfaction will erupt, which is neither good for state nor our future generations.I request you all,Do criticise PPP,but dont be BIASED and respect the mandate, they are elcted representative of ppl,if they wont come up to the expectations to ppl, they will get flushed out but if any one tried to oust them through propaganda, illegitmate way then Bhai Pakistani sb,iss Pakistani bhi phir Allah Hafiz hey.
Thnx
A president and the countries parliamentarians should be true Muslims not money worshipper and Satanists.
I hope the Supreme Court does something about the American terrorists on Pakistani soil. These US parasites need to be kicked out if Pakistan is to succeed.
