Kaira or others cannot justify the stay of Rehman Malik or people like Babar Awan in cabinet. Look at the mockery one heading law enforcement and the other law and justice……………..SHAME ON ALL MPs who sit with them.

Congratulations on first anniversary one of the best programme.
One thing is very clear about Kaira,he knows some thing or not but he has answer of every question. He is really stubborn never accept any charge against his boss and party even if he is shown the original documents.

Qamar-uz-aman talks too much it becomes so annoying to hear this man for 35 minutes.Kaira talks about democracy i will like ask him that is democracy means to put a man in the parliament only ?What about democratic tradition after these people are elected? Then they simply forget all the democratic values and do what ever they like.
It is democratic culture to resign from public office if there are serious charges against a elected member.Media should also focus on MQM because majority of their members have murder charges.

A bench comprising Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, Justice Chaudhry Ijaz Ahmed and Justice Khilji Arif Hussain had taken up the matter of the sacking of Pakistan Steel Mills chairman Moeen Aftab Sheikh without serving a show-cause notice.
‘When influential political persons failed to succeed in influencing the inquiry by Mr Khosa, he was transferred against the rules and law in a mala fide way,’ the application said, adding the authorities had hindered administration of justice which amounted to contempt of court.

What Qamar-uz-Zaman willsay about ab0ve news in todays newspapers.

With both the Pakistan People’s Party and its government in a quandary over the Supreme Court’s verdict against the National Reconciliation Ordinance, cracks that have been visible in the party for months are poised to widen.

A spokesman for the prime minister said on Thursday that the government had “started consulting legal experts for the implementation” of the verdict, while President Asif Ali Zardari convened a meeting of PPP’s Central Executive Committee (CEC) on Saturday to discuss the judgment’s fallout.

Presidential spokesman Farhatullah Babar told journalists that President Zardari and MQM chief Altaf Hussain had discussed the political situation over phone.

Two biggest crooks of Pakistan politics ,see what kind of strategy of back mailing they come up with.

One thing is very clear about our leaders that they are never embarrassed or ashamed. They have courage to defend Zardari on national tv.People like Zardari,Rehman Malik,Haqqani,Babar Awan and Sindh governer Dr Ishrat are humiliation for Pakistan.

  • sianibili said:

Members of the Sindh Assembly put their weight behind President Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday and criticised the anchors and politicians who sermonised their leader to vacate the presidency on ‘moral grounds’ in their remarks while interpreting the Supreme Court judgement in a National Reconciliation Ordinance case on Wednesday night.

The house, presided over by Speaker Nisar Ahmad Khuhro, in its longest sitting, spread over six hours without any break, heard with rapt attention as speaker after speaker spoke on the issue.

Sindh Card is in use.Shameless followers of shameless leader.

  • Awaam said:

Chore, Dako, Corrupt, People who got money to influence judiciary must go.

PPP can only argue in Zardari defense if he is being criticized after he is elected president. He was extremely unpopular as a matter of fact hated by people of Pakistan even before he was elected. We all know he was famous as Mr 10% when BB became prime minister first time.
Why PPP chose him as their candidate for president with such a ill repute.

  • jiwaypakistan said:

There are others who were part of the NRO as well, including the MQM. Though the NRO pertained to cases of financial corruption, military dictator Pervez Musharraf had also included in the NRO criminal cases that did not technically belong there.

It will now be interesting to see if the Supreme Court actually takes the matter to its ultimate conclusion by also questioning those who pushed forward the NRO. Surely, it will take Musharraf and those of his close aides who had cobbled this questionable law together to task. Since the highest court has jumped into the fray of supporting state institutions before they crumble forever, the task should be completed.

  • khochal said:

Beside Zardari and PPP ministers Choudhri brothers and Musharaf should also be punished to cobbled NRO and looting.Pervez and Shujat set new records of corruption. It is time to bring to the justice every body including military generals.

Is there any e-mail address of this program? anybody can send me?

    A well-wisher

Congratulations on completing good one year of positive journalism.
Kaira was arguing that cases are in the court and media is trying to make a prejudgment on the cases.I would like to tell Kaira media is not trying to pass judgment but asking you what will be the scenario of these corrupt ministers until their cases are settled. This notion of media trial is given by president house to shut the media up and put them on defenses. But it is a huge mistake of PPP government already under lot of pressure. No government can survive having conflict with media.Another thing is this that government has not make any logic of media trial.

  • mohibewatan said:

PPP government is very upset when media ask ministers to resign.Aitzaz Ahsan said the same thing on other day and Kaira was shown a clip of Aitzaz statement on the show.Would Kaira also blame Aitzaz for being biased against PPP and Zardari.Aitzaz also said that he suggested same thing to Zardari in the best interest of PPP.

Thats very right Zardari and PPP are target because they are in government and more vocal about NRO.MQM and Ch Pervez and Shujat deserve to be punished along with Musharaf.Thses people should also be barred to compete in elections for ever.

welldone NM your programme made a real positive impact.

the face expression of these defender like kaira and fouzia showing the whole storey. they are not confident even to argue with solid logical proofs.
self respect……thr term described by haroon rasheed is good.

if these politician have self respect…they would never do corruption.
    dont expect possitive from them.

    change is coming slowly

  • niazmand said:

If PPP gets rid of corrupt and tainted ministers, it may give them some face saving to stay in power. No justification to keep people like Rehman Malik, Babar Awan, Raja Pervez Ashraf. Through them out and save the part and the system.

  • niazmand said:

On one year of this programme congratulation. NM has definitely a very professional approach. Keep it up.

  • ninetykman said:

Kaira is a shameless henchman of Zardari. These baighairat will never accept it.

  • hypocrite said:

Nadeem Malik conducted the programme in a very professional manner. I like his approach.

Kaira was good and had sensible things to say. I do agree that media should refrain from carrying out these public trials when courts are there. In Pakistan it is easy to carry out an ellgation and our media takes it as a lolypop.

    Haroon sahib’s remarks were pathetic.

All memebrs of the society, pillars of republic and specially powers with vested interests and agenda need to become just, fair and accountable.

  • Wajahat said:

It would be good for PPP to get rid of corrupt faces and regain some lost credibility.

  • adilhussain said:

It is like a writing on the wall that PPP ministers involved in corrupt practices must go, but look at the response. Most unwanted and named in SC cases Babar Awan has been given charge of law ministry, and law enforcement goes to Rehman Malik. How do you expect justice now?

  • smarti said:

respectable kaira saab please zardari ko defend karna chore do…..otherwise app be media k baad great awaam se litriyaan khanyey gey….ik app he to hain jo is party main mere khiale se achay hain….sukriya

As a common man of the country, I feel that continuous media trial of PPP leadership is being since long. When PPP come into Govt, some non-state actors become active to de-rail their democratic Govt. Please I need the answers of my these questions from the concerned authorities through you programe guests:

We accept the verdict of honorable Supreme Court on NRO that it is Unconstitutionl. But please ask these questions also:

    1. Bhutto killing was Constitutional, becasue Supreme Court has approved it.

    2. 12th October, 1999 Marshalla was Constitutional, because Supreme Court has approved it.

    3. Putting a leader of Country’s only largest democratic Party behind the bars for 12 years on political motives cases without proving any thing was Constitutional?

    4. Allow a leader of G.T Road, Punjab Party to Escape in mid-night from Jails to Saudi Arabia with 100 boxex of assets was Constitutional?

    5. Shameful attack on Supreme Court was Constitutional?

    6. Hadood Ordinances and 8th Ammendments were Constitutional?

    7. LFO was Constitutional?

    8. PCO / NAZREA ZARORAT on which current C.J took oath was Constitutional?

Also the 17 Crore Public ask that:

Why no larger bench discussed the cases of Hudabiya Mill / Money laundring / Violation of Article 6 and the petition of Air Marshal (R) Asghar Khan against Mehran Bank Scandle alleging the then top brass Generals of misuse of huge amounts and manipulation of Political Affairs of Pakistan, besides bribing JI, Muslim League & other Rightist Parties is pending in Supreme Court since last 12 Years or so. But not heard yet, despite petitioner’s reminders to each incumbent Chief Justice from time to time. Whereas Supreme Court promptly gave verdict on NRO………

    Why???

We ask who should morally, legally and ethically resign??????????/

It means that this Country and Justice is only for the G.T Road, Punjab???????

These are the questions from common People of Pakistan, to save democracy and Country from another shameful incident like Bangladesh in 1971. ……
