At least 74 persons were killed and scores of others suffered injuries as a suicide bomber riding a car detonated explosives in a football ground in Shah Hassan Khel area of Lakki Marwat.
I feel sad for our unfortunate people in Sarhad that they are the ones who are facing these attacks the most in Pakistan at the moment(almost now once/twice a week) and at the same time i salute to their patience and courage that even in these tough circumstances where to keep control over emotions seems difficult to deal with still they havent done any indecent and inhuman act of destroying public properties after any of such attacks like it was done in karachi and also when these poor affected people aren’t given any financial help in real….May Allah(saw) ease their sufferings…ameen
Thanks for the words of sympathy. I belong to Pakhtunkhwa (your Sarhad). People know about the strategic depth policy of Pakistan Army and so they don’t think the culprits are in Lakki Marwat, so they don’t burn their properties.
Whole Pakistan shares the grief of the people of Pakhtunkhwa. Sadly, it seems that the government has accepted these attacks as “collatoral damages” on helpless citizens. It expects “awam” to face more and more of these while the rulers are protecting themselves in brigades and bunkers.
Few of us see a light at the end of the tunnel. I personally think, unless the people of Pakistan come into the streets and force the rulers to prudently disassociate with the war of terror, this is a never-ending calamity. Even in Iraq the frequency of suicide attacks has gone down but it is still on going.
I am not familiar with the army fort or with the molvi. Please tell us something about both. I see the problem in the light of the following realities:
1- ANP leadership says that the terrorists do not recognized the state of Pakistan.
— There may be little truth in it.
2- Terrorists want to implement their own “size” of Islamic State.
— There is a lot of truth in it. But vast majority of Pakistani do not accept that size of Islam. So this point is a wash.
3- ANP leadership says that Pakistani hidden hands had been facilitating these elements and some hands are still doing it.
— These statements have some weight in them.
4- Big master says, people go to the other side to cause trouble.
— There is a lot of truth in it.
5- Imran Khan says, that there are many tribal people who are patriotic to Pakistan.
— There is a lot of truth in it.
6- Other say that Pakistani government does not care about the safety of people.
— There is lots of truth in it. Generally the educated elite considers awam as insects and ants.
7- Some Pakistani mullahs say, that the suicide bombing is the direct result of drone attack.

8- There is a general perception that a significant segment of Pakistani public used to sympathize with Taliban.

1) The militants might themselves not know it, what they know is that they don’t recognize anything/anyone who is gonna stop them from doing what they want to do. They want power, authority, money and freedom to do what they want to do.
2) Vast majority of Pakistanis supported Taliban rule on Aghanistan, didn’t they. Vast majority lived in fantacies and quite a few of them are awakening now, now that they have seen the ugly faces of these jihadis from a little closer.

7) Ask those mullahs then what will you do with Al misri, al sudani, tahir yadev then ? Drones are taking them out, we should be doing it ourselves, then we can demand drones to be stopped. If we still want to keep them for strategic depth, then people like me support drone attacks.
8)Thats the biggest problem. Here the role of media, mullahs, right wing politicians (Imran Khan) and our establishment becomes criminal. Hamid Gul, Munawwar Hassan, Imran Khan and our media should stop providing cover to the inhuman activities of these beasts.
