Why municiple (local) bodies are very important and effective way because these representatives are connected with their localities all the times, people go to them with their problems, and this section is considered an important part in democratic, developed and progressive socities. If provincial government sends their own people (on political basis) for this purpose, it wouldn’t solve the public’s problem, because they won’t be the people who live in their localities and understand their problems, and who solves their problem in order to re-elect next time.
Public don’t care whether is Zardari or Nawaz Sharif. Whoever will do useful things for them, they are with them. Is that difficult to understand? Some stupid talk about mandate and blah blah, but they don’t know, this mandates never remains the same it flatuates with the party’s/government’s performance and efficiency.
Municipal system is important and all five districts of Karachi should be reinstated and at war footings,power dovlution from center to provinces should also complete otherwise center can manipulate district govts any time in their favor as MUSH dictator did.If Central doesnt give full provincial autonomy to provinces then what is the use of such devolution,its rather start of strong centralization.There fore,the solution for success of any local govt lies in strengthening respective districts,and then provinces and then Federation.Five districts of Karachi should be reinstated and which will help more focus on administrators or nazim to each respective district.I support Local bodies system under provincial govt with reinstatement of 5 old districts of Karachi,then lets have free and fair election,let MQM or PPP or JI or any party compete and win their new mandate.
Bro,what is the point that every message of mine goes for longer duration of moderation and even some times you dont let me post.I neither cross the limits of respect nor I indulge useless attacks.Its forum for discussion,and I know we may not have same opinion on most of issues.but no body has right to stop any other’s right to share one’s opinion against some one’s personal agenda including pkpolitics team.
