Hamid Mir is on Mission to destroy the credibility of PMLN. How harsh he is to some persons but has no courage to ask any cross question to MQM.Clearly his actions shows he is underpressed from MQM. He lose his credibility of an independent anchor.

Questioning deceiving behavior of PMLN leadership on CoD and other national issues is equal to losing credibility and professional independence.

If HE says what we think is correct then HE is credible and professionally independent otherwise HE is receiving kickbacks.

I am glad to see Mr. Hamid Mir is providing an oppertunity for various political parties to express their opinion and tell us the truth.
I also like to advice Mr. Ahsan Iqbal to go back to school and learn to read English.
I am not favouring any party. I am just saying that Hamid Mir should be harsh or soft on equality basis. All the media persons talk about nawaz sharif and zardari corruption what they did years ago but nobody has courage to talk about 12 May that happened recently. And what is happening in Karachi these days. Everybody knows who is reponsible but no body name any party or person.
My point is here is that our anchors should be balance and fair while blaming others

The plan was simple enough, and since 2001, the United States has lived up to its pledge, pouring as much as $12 billion in overt aid and another $10 billion in covert aid to Pakistan Army.
Is their any billion deposted in pakistani banks or the the fact is that retired general of Mush took it as a last gift of their master BUSH for cutting pakistan,s poor people throats…and handing over their daughters like Dr Afia etc etc in return of billions…shame on all of them.
More… But today, as the Obama administration re-examines the deal, there is devastating evidence that the billions spent in Pakistan have yielded little in return. For the last eight years, U.S money has funded hardly any bona fide counterterrorism successes, but quite a bit of corruption in the Pakistani Army and intelligence services. The money has enriched individuals generals of musharraf,s regime at the expense of the proper functioning of the country’s institutions. It has provided habitual kleptocrats with further incentives to skim off the top. Despite the U.S. goal of encouraging democratization, assistance to Pakistan has actually weakened the country’s civilian government. And perhaps worst of all, it has hindered Pakistan’s ability to fight terrorists.
How could so much money do so much harm? The first answer is simply that the Pakistani civilian government, with whom Bush signed his agreement, barely controls the Army and intelligence services — the very institutions meant to receive the bulk of U.S. funds. Until last year, the closest the Army came to accounting for its work was its annual budget submission: a single, bottom-line dollar figure that the government was constitutionally bound to approve. Even now, after a much-hailed move toward more oversight, the Army’s most recent annual budget submission was just two pages. And Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) — a powerful and independent military agency — is no better. Last year the Interior Ministry requested that it report to the government; the ISI declined the invitation.
Long before the Bush-Musharraf agreement, money from such unsupervised budgets had enabled the Army to become one of the richest and largest industrial, banking, and landowning bodies in Pakistan. The military formed its own networks of political patronage, co-opting existing political parties with threats and bribes. With the injection of the U.S. cash, this already prevalent military corruption was thrust into high gear. The extra money further discouraged the military and intelligence services from submitting to civilian control — a precondition for the country’s democratization.
Pakistan did not use the majority of the funds for the agreed objective of fighting terrorism. Instead, the money was looted and deposited in foreign banks by Musharraf cronies,now enjoying musics and indian pubs in UK…..etc. .
For example Mushrraf funnel out $600 million during the last 7 days in presidency ,how much he looted before….one can easily think.
So Gen Musharraf not only tried to kill Chief justice,he did kill thousands of pakistani including Bukti,afghans,hand-over thousands innocent pakistani including Dr Afia.

Recent elections in Manshera results shows that capt Sadar,s brother (son- in Law of Nawaz sharraf ) lost badly , was their any other suitable candidate availabe to be give muslim leak ticket or its family business now.
So its clear who Nawaz wants to rule pakistan,,,,,he was the one who attacked supereme court first time in history of pakistan.He derailed political system as well as Musharraf……ARE THEY BOTH ABOVE LAW

I like MQM beacuse its origin is poor people of pakistan but was surprised to hear what Mr Waseem Akhtar was reading and not understanding what it means and still insisting over it.
Waseem Akhatar (MQM) is Top Leader ,and so sad that mentally he is below normal.

Look at Sen. Zahid Khan (ANP)…the chief minister of NWFP is son of Azam khan Hoti…a known corrupt person and looted pakistan with both hands.One can see their house in mardan build when Azam hoti was minister of NHA.
The chief minister of NWFP even not study in university.His father sister Nasim Wali khan married to Wali Khan and his mother is step daughter of Nasim wali khan…yes so thats why he is chief minister and now looting NWFP,,how can they talk about pushtoon interests.
please please Sen. Zahid Khan,,,Zia ul haq released wali khan and save his life ,so one can immagin how close they were,,,even at one point he was going to appoint wali khan as prime minister.
Waseem Akhtar language is like selling vegitables wala in mandi,,,, how he talk bad about ZIA UL HAQ, he was MQM God father,,,also Musharraf used them to kill people when chief justice was visiting karachi.
