As far as i know,Maulanas whole islam is in parda.His views might have changed now but were close to taliban’s understanding of women’s role in a society.
I have listened to him in the past,he is non violent departed from JI,non politicial but hard liner.In his opinion,islam forbids women to go and even get milk/vegetables from the doorside hawker.
It may not tell us about islam as much but it does tell us about the delusional/paranoid religious leader

You are very right.Dr Israr is a qualified doctor but he has devoted his life for the teachings of Islam.There are people among us very impressed by western ideology with out making any sense.
