We can resolve this Judiciry issue very quickly, make Chief Justice Iftikhar Choudhry the only authority to pick and choose and appoint Judges for Supreme Court and High Courts. Judges appointed by President, Prime Minister or any other authority will never be acceptable to C/J unless he approves them.
It appears that the Chief Justice wants to be the sole authority when it comes to Supreme Court and High Courts, he likes to see each and every court decision as per his wishes and it is only possible when he has his chosen judges in Supreme Court and High Courts.
How can we call it a balanced Judiciary and will it be possible to expect impartial and independent decision from the Supreme Court of Pakistan when every Judge in Supreme Court is appointed by the Chief Justice?

Aftab your comments always make sense.I also share my feelings with you that Zardari want to buy maximum time.He knows he has no way out he is guilty.This conflict with judiciary will lead him either to surrender or like you said to run away from the country in self exile.It is loose loose situation for Zardari and PPP.
PPP leaders were not available for comments right after the decision was taken by Zardari.They were all in the hide and now slowly they are coming out it is very clear first they were in shock on the decision of Zardari and did not know what to say and now they have gathered some baseless points to face media and say some thing even it will not make any ssense.
Afzal Sandhoo openly said that recommended names by CJ are not acceptable for Zardari because there is no name of any JIALA judge in the list.Now it is very clear the actual reason is personal not constitutional.It clearly shows the ill intentions of the Zardari and his advisors that they are only trying to save their skin.

First of all constitution says that judges will be appointed on the recommendation of CJ it is not CJ himself who wants the authority it is given by constitution.Secondly in every other department it is the head of that department who hire or fire people why not in the judiciary?
