I like the comment “shareef economist” by Mushtaq Minhas about Shaukat Tareen!!!!!!!! May be our dictionaries need to be rewritten and words need redefined!
People like Shaukat Tareen is one the biggest reasons of poverty, hunger, ignorance and chaos around the world. The big financial institution like citi bank and their chiefs are not shareef. They are there to MULTIPLY THE WEALTH OF RICH AND RIP OFF THE POORS. What good has he brought to relieve the plight of poors of this country? People like Shaukat Tareen are just touts for IMF and world’s richests and everyone knows the role of IMF in the world.
He resigned for his personal interest (new bank) and succumbed to the pressure asserted by rental power mafia. If he is shareef and pro poor pakistani then should have taken a stand against all pressures.
Another good and compitent person left the cabinet.. I mean Shaukat Tareen!
