Though NS is not very bad for the country as a whole, but today, Pakistan need Imran Khan’s (which is Quaid-e-Azam’s / Allama Iqbal’s) vision. At least for this term or later one, so we can follow the appropriate path…. Once institutions will get better, there will be no dispute that whoever is president, prime minister or establishment.

@Ami 234 _ I share your feelings… Imran is the only true bold voice…but then the million dollar question is how can Imran connect with the massess? how can he win? he is hot on Internet because computers are accessed by young educated middle class youth but elections in dirty, smelly, flood stricken, electricity deprived Pakistan is a different matter… we must ask the Question: What can Imran do to connect with the vote banks of Pakistan? Also why Imran has no other good men and women with him? …our debate and solutions may help Imran…

I will predict PMLN will win…I predict they will try to win by double digits by cheating and vote box stuffing… in reality Sheikh will lose by 3- 4,000 votes but PMLN will like to win by 15, 0000….and as this slimey ganja Irfan Siddiqi says: Sheikh will then hold a press conference blasting PMLN….but PMLN will win….

IK was already known as great Pakistani cricker. If we talk about poor pakis, where internet is not available, they dont even know other politicians as well.
Thats true that IK need additional good players in his team, but , Shereen mazaari, Hamid Khan etc are much better than ppp’s and pmln’s team. Alot of ppl watch IK on TV talk shows. He collects donations from Pakistanis (both local and International) for good cause, where as other politicians collect funds for the seats’ price (dirty politics). MQM wins in khi/hyd only because of their mafia. I believe that once NRO will be done and elections will be held under honest & independent judiciary all over the Pakistan, result will be different and IK will get better position quickly, INSHALLAH. So, he need some more time and obviously continue to create more memberships.
Again, its not about individual personality, its about his honest deeds.

Recent result of polls in NA 55 is really very disappointing because it is the sign that people are still oblivious of their circumstances. I think PML-N , PPP and Sheikh Rashid has taken their turns and they have shown their flacid and lack luster performance in recent years. So people should have given a chance to new comer especially Imran Khan’s party. Imran Khan is nodoubt far cry from other sterotypical politicians. He left his princly life and stepped into Pakistani politics from he didn’t get any undue advantages like others. He’s a principled man. He gave us a cancer hospital which is a collosal achievement of him. How can we forget how painstakingly he groomed Pakistan criket team. He has holistic and pragmatic approch towards every problem of Pakistan. He set up a University in Miaanwali which was considered a backward area. He is really unique and wants to change the destiny of Pakistan. Unfortunately, he is unable to convey his messege to masses which turn always deaf ear to every sincere person because the politicians having dual faces know the trick of manipulate them. I wish Pakistani nation could stand by him to catapult Pakistan to a highest place in the world. Imran Nasir
@Imran Nasir, all what you say may be true but the million dollar question is that what should Imran Khan do to establish his rapport with the masses? arguing that massess should have been smart enough to select him is not going to go anywhere…just reverse the arguement and it will read: Imran Khan should be smart enough to know how to lead the massess? … did you see Dr Pirzada’s interview with Asghar Khan a few days ago?
PTI lost becaus of lack of good people with IK. Jazi was not a fit candidate his past is full of Gunda dardi and even he doesn’t look a qualified person.
Congratulations to PML-N on this landslide victory and the show will be repeated in NA123 in about a fortnight . I think PTI top leadership needs to sit down and try to find answers to few of these questions :
q1 : Should they stretch their meager resources across Pakistan or concentrate on a few constituencies ? this is a very important question because until we have proportional representation winning seats will remain a dream .
q2 : Imran is not famous for winning seats but his biggest asset is his good reputation and he should field highly qualified candidates with immaculate records and not party turncoats like Jaazi Khan because remember Imran reputation is his biggest asset and not winning , that is what attracts people towards him.
q3 : PTI cannot ride alone they need good electoral alliance (s) and Imran needs to understand that now.
Politics is a dirty business and the better liar one can get the better his chances of gainning electoral success but principles should never be compromised . Remember people who voted for Imran want change and they will continue to vote for him as long as Imran fields candidates like him i-e of immaculate past.
Irfan Siddiqui is a paid slave of NS. He always write in favor of PML(N) and Shareefs. IS is a biased writer. He has been favored by Shareefs and also his Post Office is same with Shareefs back in Kashmir. The only praise for him is he wrote very well against Mushy (Sarkar Tabla Nawaz). In fact I only started reading him when he wrote against STN in Nawa-i-Waqt. But rest assure he is a paid writer of PML (N).
Remember people who voted for Imran want change and they will continue to vote for him as long as Imran fields candidates like him i-e of “immaculate past”.
