Small underdeveloped country with anything under the sun that a country needs to progress yet rather than developing resources and people, everyone who matters is involevd in misadventures. Havent learnt anything from history. Lost one half of the country yet nothing is being done to address grievances of common Pakistanis.
Poor people need justice, shelter, food and security. What democracy has delivered and what dictatorship has delivered in the last 63 years is in front of everyone. All we need is a system that can provide basic needs and fair society to common people. Why do we need another revolution and for how long common people shall keep on sacrificing.
Will this programme or any other programme on tv help us get that. Will existing politicians help us get there. Will other powers help us get there. I am lost as to who could guide this poor country to deliver and the people to feel happy.

I did not ask for your sympathies and my family is my personal matter, yes I am lucky and proud of them, but that does not make me better or worse person or due to that I should get special treatment. 4.1 Islamic view on disability:
The word “disability” cannot be found within the Qur’an or Hadiths (religious texts of
Islam), but the concept of Muslims having inabilities or special needs and how they
interacted in society can be found throughout the history of Islam. In particular is the
example of Itban bin Malik, a religious leader who was blind (Bukhari 2:279).
Disability is seen as neither a blessing nor a curse in Islam.
It is the belief of Muslims that everyone was created with different abilities and disabilities with the objective fora Muslim to focus on their abilities and show gratefulness rather than focus on the disability. With this being said a Muslim has the right to improve the situation of their disability through prayer, medical, educational and advocacy resources.
Within Islam there are allocations for Muslims with disabilities and the aged to be
exempted from some of the Islamic practices such as prayers, fasting and performing
hajj, as mentioned in the Qur’an. “Allah desireth for you ease, he desireth not hardship
for you”. (Al-Baqarah 2:185).
Due to the diversity of medical conditions and disabilities it is a preferred practice to
refer to a Muslim religious leader to determine what (if any) exemptions of Islamic
practices are placed upon a person with a disability or the aged.
Human life is to be valued within Islam and every Muslim regardless of their abilities
or inabilities should be regarded as valued members of the community. Islamic history
highlights many examples of people whom, while having some form of a disability,
excelled to very high positions and prominent status in society.
The community as a whole is enjoined to be accepting of all people regardless of their
disability and Muslims are required to support them in addressing their needs as well as
creating an inclusive environment and encouraging full participation of all members of
the community.
Caring for a family member with a disability is viewed as being highly rewarding.
Generally speaking, Muslim carers prefer to remain with the care recipient at all times
and prefer to have activities that involve the whole family. Respite care is often avoided
unless absolutely necessary.
4.2 Islam and Health
In Islam the body is a gift from God and needs to be looked after and not abused. Thus
keeping the body healthy is part of one’s religion. Any illness is to be received with
patience and prayers and Muslims are strongly encouraged to seek treatment and care.
Death is seen as part of a journey to meet the Creator. However assisted suicide and
euthanasia are not permitted. The deceased should be buried as soon as possible after
death. Burial rituals include washing and shrouding the body as well as congregational
funeral prayers.
Increased devotion, receiving visitors and condolences, and avoiding decorative
clothing and jewellery are observed during mourning. Muslims observe a 3-day
mourning period (widows will mourn for a longer period of four months and ten days).
It is discouraged for people to erect elaborate markers, or put flowers or other
mementos on the grave. Rather, one should humbly remember God and God’s Mercy,
and pray for the deceased.

Nice to see people like you on this forum. I use to say most of the people on this forum are ‘mullah minded people’. They can not tolerate difference of opinion, they just want to impose their ideology with ‘danda’.
A very sad event took place in Lahore today. Innocent people are dying in our country and in my opinion, all this is happening due to late dictator zia and a very recent dictator musharaf. In my opinion, both of them were not having any political vision and were not aware of the social outcomes of their decesions and they put the whole country in fire, I condemn both of them.
I have one political question here even I know the response of people on this forum. I want to see, how many people on this forum and on our Neutral Media would demand the resignation of SHAHBAZ SHARIF because this event happened in Model Town, a native town of Shahbaz Sharif. Now, why not Hamid Mir, Irfan Siddique , Haroon Rashid, Javed Ch., Kashif Abbasi …why not all these guys are demanding resignation of SHAHBAZ SHARIF. If they are not demanding, then how they say that we are neutral and working for the welfare of nation.
I personally, will not demand resignation from Shahbaz Sharif because, in my opinion, we are in war situation. But following the same principle, I never demanded resignation in the past from Salman Taseer and Rehman Malik even though, personally I do not like them.
Most of our media is captured by the people from right wing and few of them constantly spread the hate for difference of opinion and they always wanted to impose whatever they think is ‘right’.

Before I answer your question, I just want to put a note for Mujataba Ali. I believe that there are extremists in each nationality and my point does not mean that I am anti Punjabi.
Hamid Mir, Irfan Siddique , Haroon Rashid, Javed Ch., Kashif Abbasi all have a particular background. They are all Punjabi, some of them are Muhajirs from each punjab, people like Haroon Rasheed and Javed Chaudhry have a particular caste background. Most of them have a particular (anti PPP_ background) . One can not epxect them to play a neutral role. You will observe that they will always condemn Musharraf but they will never condemn Zia (Zia and Haroon Rasheed share the same political, sect and caste background). The same is true for Kamran Khan and Shahid Masood, they will never criticism a particular political group.

Salam brother, i am not saying ppp is pure and all blame for army ,but when i see the history of pakistan and rules of army when army comes to power these politican in somehow one with army and other opposition,

Small underdeveloped country with anything under the sun that a country needs to progress yet rather than developing resources and people, everyone who matters is involevd in misadventures. Havent learnt anything from history. Lost one half of the country yet nothing is being done to address grievances of common Pakistanis.
Poor people need justice, shelter, food and security. What democracy has delivered and what dictatorship has delivered in the last 63 years is in front of everyone. All we need is a system that can provide basic needs and fair society to common people. Why do we need another revolution and for how long common people shall keep on sacrificing.
Will this programme or any other programme on tv help us get that. Will existing politicians help us get there. Will other powers help us get there. I am lost as to who could guide this poor country to deliver and the people to feel happy.

4.1 Islamic view on disability:
The word “disability” cannot be found within the Qur’an or Hadiths (religious texts of
Islam), but the concept of Muslims having inabilities or special needs and how they
interacted in society can be found throughout the history of Islam. In particular is the
example of Itban bin Malik, a religious leader who was blind (Bukhari 2:279).
Disability is seen as neither a blessing nor a curse in Islam.
It is the belief of Muslims that everyone was created with different abilities and disabilities with the objective fora Muslim to focus on their abilities and show gratefulness rather than focus on the disability. With this being said a Muslim has the right to improve the situation of their disability through prayer, medical, educational and advocacy resources.
Within Islam there are allocations for Muslims with disabilities and the aged to be
exempted from some of the Islamic practices such as prayers, fasting and performing
hajj, as mentioned in the Qur’an. “Allah desireth for you ease, he desireth not hardship
for you”. (Al-Baqarah 2:185).
Due to the diversity of medical conditions and disabilities it is a preferred practice to
refer to a Muslim religious leader to determine what (if any) exemptions of Islamic
practices are placed upon a person with a disability or the aged.
Human life is to be valued within Islam and every Muslim regardless of their abilities
or inabilities should be regarded as valued members of the community. Islamic history
highlights many examples of people whom, while having some form of a disability,
excelled to very high positions and prominent status in society.
The community as a whole is enjoined to be accepting of all people regardless of their
disability and Muslims are required to support them in addressing their needs as well as
creating an inclusive environment and encouraging full participation of all members of
the community.
Caring for a family member with a disability is viewed as being highly rewarding.
Generally speaking, Muslim carers prefer to remain with the care recipient at all times
and prefer to have activities that involve the whole family. Respite care is often avoided
unless absolutely necessary.
4.2 Islam and Health
In Islam the body is a gift from God and needs to be looked after and not abused. Thus
keeping the body healthy is part of one’s religion. Any illness is to be received with
patience and prayers and Muslims are strongly encouraged to seek treatment and care.
Death is seen as part of a journey to meet the Creator. However assisted suicide and
euthanasia are not permitted. The deceased should be buried as soon as possible after
death. Burial rituals include washing and shrouding the body as well as congregational
funeral prayers.
Increased devotion, receiving visitors and condolences, and avoiding decorative
clothing and jewellery are observed during mourning. Muslims observe a 3-day
mourning period (widows will mourn for a longer period of four months and ten days).
It is discouraged for people to erect elaborate markers, or put flowers or other
mementos on the grave. Rather, one should humbly remember God and God’s Mercy,
and pray for the deceased.

Nice to see people like you on this forum. I use to say most of the people on this forum are ‘mullah minded people’. They can not tolerate difference of opinion, they just want to impose their ideology with ‘danda’.
A very sad event took place in Lahore today. Innocent people are dying in our country and in my opinion, all this is happening due to late dictator zia and a very recent dictator musharaf. In my opinion, both of them were not having any political vision and were not aware of the social outcomes of their decesions and they put the whole country in fire, I condemn both of them.
I have one political question here even I know the response of people on this forum. I want to see, how many people on this forum and on our Neutral Media would demand the resignation of SHAHBAZ SHARIF because this event happened in Model Town, a native town of Shahbaz Sharif. Now, why not Hamid Mir, Irfan Siddique , Haroon Rashid, Javed Ch., Kashif Abbasi …why not all these guys are demanding resignation of SHAHBAZ SHARIF. If they are not demanding, then how they say that we are neutral and working for the welfare of nation.
I personally, will not demand resignation from Shahbaz Sharif because, in my opinion, we are in war situation. But following the same principle, I never demanded resignation in the past from Salman Taseer and Rehman Malik even though, personally I do not like them.
Most of our media is captured by the people from right wing and few of them constantly spread the hate for difference of opinion and they always wanted to impose whatever they think is ‘right’.

Before I answer your question, I just want to put a note for Mujataba Ali. I believe that there are extremists in each nationality and my point does not mean that I am anti Punjabi.
Hamid Mir, Irfan Siddique , Haroon Rashid, Javed Ch., Kashif Abbasi all have a particular background. They are all Punjabi, some of them are Muhajirs from each punjab, people like Haroon Rasheed and Javed Chaudhry have a particular caste background. Most of them have a particular (anti PPP_ background) . One can not epxect them to play a neutral role. You will observe that they will always condemn Musharraf but they will never condemn Zia (Zia and Haroon Rasheed share the same political, sect and caste background). The same is true for Kamran Khan and Shahid Masood, they will never criticism a particular political group.
