ایک با اصول آدمی کو بدنام کرنے کے لیے تین کنہہ مشق لوگ؟ اس بندے کو بولنے کا موقع ہی نہ دینا، مسلسل اسکی بات کاٹتے جانا اور اس سے وہ سوالات کرنا جو اسکے متعلقه ہی نہیں ہیں، زرد صحافت کی بد ترین مثال نہیں تو اور کیا ہے؟ اس بندے کا قصور یہ ہے کہ اس نے میرٹ اور سنیارٹی کے اصول کی بات کی ہے اور ریٹایرڈ ججوں کی دوبارہ بھرتی کو تنقید کا نشانہ بنایا ہے. یہی اسکا واحد جرم ہے. کیا سچ بات کہنا یا اپنی رائے کا اظہار کرنا اتنا بڑا جرم ہے کہ اسکو یوں نرغے میں لیکر ٹی وی سکرین پر رسوا کیا جائے؟ فوج پر تنقید ہو سکتی ہے، پارلیمنٹ پر تنقید ہو سکتی ہے تو عدلیہ کوئی مقدس گائے تو نہیں کہ اسکے غلط فیصلوں پر تنقید نہ کی جا سکے. بہتر ہوتا کہ اس پروگرام میں علی احمد کرد کے ساتھ جسٹس طارق، جسٹس فخر الدین ابراہیم، اعتزاز احسن جیسے لوگوں کو بھی بلایا جاتا تاکہ ایک متوازن نقطۂ نظر سامنے آتا. باقی جو ڈاکٹر صاحب کی مرضی، وہ جنگل کے بادشاہ ہیں وہ علی احمد کرد کو مزید قابو کرنے کے لیے صالح ظافر اور شاہین شہبائی کو بھی بلا لیتے تو ہم کیا کر سکتے تھے؟ ہم تو اس پروگرام کو سننے اور دیکھنے کے پابند ہیں بے شک ڈاکٹر صاحب جو بھی کہیں اور جس کو بھی بلائیں

چوبی قطر پیما اور سہیل احمد کا بظاہر کوئی تعلق نہیں بنتا ماسوائے اس کے کہ سہیل احمد لاہور میں ڈرامہ کرتا ہے اور چوبی قطر پیما کی اختراع بھی لاہور میں ہوئی . دیکھا جائے تو یہ کوئی تعلق نہیں تو پھر مجھے چوبی قطر پیما اور سہیل احمد اکتھے کیوں یاد آ رہے ہیں ؟ اور پھر یہ دونوں اس وقت کیوں یاد آۓ جب میں میرے مطابق پر تبصرہ لکھنے کے لیے بیٹھا ہوں .
مجھے یاد پڑتا ہے کہ پچہلے ہفتے کے دوران لفظ چوبی قطر پیما کا استمال خاصی فراوانی سے ہوا ہے . نجانے آلات کا نام رکھتے وقت لوگ آسان لفظ کیوں نہیں استمال کرتے. لفظ تھرما میٹر ہی لیجیئے، سیدھا سا لفظ تھا ، اردو کی کتابوں میں ایسے ہی لکھا جا سکتا تھا یاروں نے ترجمے کی ٹھان لی . “گرمی ناپؤ” Garmee Naapoo بڑا سیدھا سا ترجمہ تھا ایسے ہی جیسے مشرقی پنجاب میں اسے ” پخ میچو ” کہتےہیں. پخ کے معنی گرمی اور میچو کے معنی ناپنے والا . اب جو ترجمہ ہوا وہ اصل سے بھی مشکل کہیں ” مقیاس ا لحرارت ” اور کہیں ” حرارت پیما ” لکھا ہوا ملتا ہے. خیر ہم بات چوبی قطر پیما کی کر رہے تھے . اس آ لے کا یہ نام رکھے جانے کی وجہ زبان کے ساتھ ساتھ شرعی بھی ہے. اسلامی جمیعت طلبہ کو تو سب جانتے ہی ہوں گے . دنیاوی مسا ءل کو شرعی انداز میں حل کرنے میں اس جماعت کا کوئی ثانی نہیں . جن دنوں ” شراب چیز ہی ایسی ہے نہ چھوڑی جا ۓ ” بہت مشہور تھی اپنے ناظمین گا یا کرتے تھے ” نماز چیز ہی ایسی ہے نہ چھوڑی جا ۓ”. دیکھا غزل کا مزہ بھی لے لیا اور خدا کی نافرمانی بھی نہ کی .اسی طرح نا ظمیں بھائی جب کسی تنظیمی بہن کو پہلا عشقیہ خط لکھا کرتے تھے تو آغاز اس شعر سے ہوتا تھا

حق کی را ہ سے بھٹکنے والوں کے لیے جمیعت والوں نے خاصی جدید سزائیں مقرر کر رکھی تھیں جن کے متعلق ان کا دعوی تھا کہ وہ شرع سے متصادم بھی نہیں ہیں. مثا ل کے طور ” دخول انگشت ” کے گناہ سے بچنے کے لیے انہوں نے ” چوبی قطر پیما ” بنا رکھا تھا جو کہ کام وہی سر انجام دیتا تھا بلکہ مجرم کو سو گنا زیادہ تکیلف میں مبتلا کرتا تھا. کہتے ہیں کہ میانوالی سے تعلق رکھنے والے ایک امیدوار رکنیت نے اس کا ترجمہ” ٹھوکو ” کے نام سے کرنے کی کوشش کی تھی جس کے بعد اسے رفیق بنا دیا گیا تھا ..

yes you are right, there were three of em against ali ahmed ahmed kurd but issue is that majority din’t let kurd have a say infact issue was whether kurd was right when called them firhoon? answer is no and any sensible person would agree with my intrepretation. i don’t know much about kurd so can’t really tell you why did he say that but making such statment after revolutionary movement raised the doubts in people mind about independence of judiciary which is in benefit of those who did not want to see independent judiciary.

just like your id you are twisting the general principle of judiciary and their intrepretation of law. parliment makes law but judiciary decides the validity and intrepret it in their judgments. seniority issue is no longer a valid argument because supreme court in their judgment decided that appointment of judges would’nt be on basis of of seniority.
if parliment thinks this law is unjust they can pass an act and make a new law but they did’nt do anything about this in past two years and even if they pass the legislation people would ask question about their supermacy?
kurd could’nt answer that why did he call them firhoon that raise the question mark on ali ahmed kurd’s credibility.
supreme court cannot change the judgment of their previous case and it’s mendatory for them to follow their previous judgment it’s like judgments of supreme courts are binding for lower courts and supreme court cannot depart from that ratio or decission unless parliment pass an act to make it a bad law.
i hope you would get it. it’s nothing to do with judiciary if parliment change the law regarding seniority supreme court will follow it if they don’t supreme court will follow their previous judgments regarding this issue.

parliment cannot do anything untill parliment is full with honest parlimenterian unfortunately in last 62 we never had any credible parliment. we choose parlimentarians on basis of their faith, ethnicity, tribe, wealth, power and hell load of sh!t rather than integrity, honesty, loyality and care for poor people and expect them to do any good for us, well that never happened in past and will never happen in future.

supreme court did follow that case which you mentioned and thats why interevened when president tried to appoint them on basis of seniority.

Judge should act like a firoon during his duty on law. Judge is not a public leader that should act according to people’s liking or disliking.
Ali Ahmed Kurd is right principally but not lawfully, CJ is correct according to the current law. Parliment should amend the law to choose a judge institutionally rather then CJ or CJ+other judges do this job.

Problem is fourfold. Ali Kurd could be good lawyer (though I doubt) but for sure he was good leader and respectable and acceptable one among lawyers at that time when he was leading from Balochistan. He is person of less IQ, he is not well read and well conversant, his vocabulary is less, he has less mastery over urdu language, he does not understand the nuances of the words he use.
the name of this program is Meray Mutabiq, means according to Dr Masood. So if you like his analysis, then see his program, if you do not like his analysis then go to the program that has similar format. But is there any other program with similar format, I doubt. All other programs are talk shows not based on analysis. Other anchors inject their views but do not comprehensively analyze as does Shahid Masood. So this program does not need to be fair and balance.
Talat sometimes carry out his analysis but his analysis is balanced in a sense that he mentions the other parties view atleast and then mock it with reasons and logic.
At the end no one discussed what is the check on Judges. Means subservient or independent judiciary what is the check. Problem is other than Iftikhar Ch. before him or after him, the CJ of supreme court or judges of supremecourt are always politically affiliated individuals or some close or far relative of any politician. What is the check on judges and why this check is not visible in last sixty years.

In my humble view the reasons a person could change allegiance to a cause, movement, party or leader are:
a) The person has sold his/her soul / has been bought
b) There is clash of interest
c) The person develops differences in principles
d) The person reliases that the cuase / movement / party /leader is changing its position from the original cause
e) The person has gone insane or loses his ability to think objectively or is blinded
f) The person is so naive that (s)he falls easily into the trap of someone who is against the cause, by listening to sermons and changes the allegiance
It seesm that many folks who have commented so far, believe that Kurd and aitzaz fall under (a) above. Hope they have enough proof of it.

No body is talking about the sad events of Lahore and Maingora. In my opinion, Shahid Masood was also suppose to conduct a show on recent terrorist attacks in the country. But in my opinion, he just condcut his shows for certain personalities. When Mehsood was killed, Dr. SM was continously saying that Rehman Malik is lying. He was not concerned with the issue. He was just trying to prove that Rehman Malik is lying. Then it was proved that he was lying. MR Ali seems to have his own principles of morality and justice. It is evident from this discussion that he wanted to have his hold on judiciary, to direct it and ask it to make desicions according to his own likings.
It is really sad to see the real face of person Ali Kurd who , knowingly or unknowlingly being played by his masters. I used to respect him for his struggle but now i cannot say i have the same level of respect for him.
True we dont want supreme court / Judiciary to become what indian Supreme court has evolved in to. Ali should provide concrete logic behind his stance which he lacks. Calling Supremecourt “Firoon” beacause it is not doing what is not it’s job in first place , for personal gains and to support personal gains of his friends and colleagues is shamefull display of corruption in itself.

I believe that all the folks who comment are true Pakistanis and have the interest of Pakistan in their heart. If our cause is united and developed Pakistan, what do we get by fighting amongst ourselves and calling names to each other. We shall differ in opinion but shall not fight amongst each other. Lets try to convince others of our view point through logic and if other person has logic we shall accept it.
Most of the power players change their position and principles as their interest suit them. Few months ago Doctor shahid sahib was being cursed when he joined PTV and appeared in interview in Jawab deh but now he is considered as the only patriotic around. Few months ago Kurd was a darling of all and now many believe that he has gone back on his principles. If this is true and there are many other examples where our heroes have disappointed us then why shall we get into the traps of their sermons. Lets keep our support open till we see actions.
I dont think we can afford to further divide amongst ourselves. Lets unite for a better and developed Pakistan. If this is not what we want then please continue calling each other whatever filth we can think of.

Kurd is talking illogically, he is lying same way like PPP beneficiaries do, everybody (conciousless person) has his price to be sold out and Kurd is also sold out, why part of the media and lawyers were criticising the grovernment for it’s wrong doings, one of the sudden they became “himayati” of the government? Because they became beneficairies of PPP like some of the people on this site, although they are seeing with their open eyes that every where it is disaster, record breaking mehengai, corruption at all level all time high and no security to common men except for those good for nothing ministers, and still they write that everything is ok and people are eating the cakes instead of bread wah wah. I really like today’s program and it was with the context of the struggle led by the lawyers, civil society and media for the restoration of Judges in Dictator’s regime.
I totally admire the important issue raised by Ansar Abbasi at the end that the Lawyer’s poltics is much more complication than our National politics, I won’t be wrong that there doesn’t exist the democracy in the Lawyer’s politics and everyone in trying to be the Dictator and dominant leadership with expectation for other to follow which is not deliverable.
I believe that the Lawyers forum should comeup with the reconcilition strtaegy so it could be rational.

چوبی قطر پیما اور سہیل احمد کا بظاہر کوئی تعلق نہیں بنتا ماسوائے اس کے کہ سہیل احمد لاہور میں ڈرامہ کرتا ہے اور چوبی قطر پیما کی اختراع بھی لاہور میں ہوئی . دیکھا جائے تو یہ کوئی تعلق نہیں تو پھر مجھے چوبی قطر پیما اور سہیل احمد اکتھے کیوں یاد آ رہے ہیں ؟ اور پھر یہ دونوں اس وقت کیوں یاد آۓ جب میں میرے مطابق پر تبصرہ لکھنے کے لیے بیٹھا ہوں .
مجھے یاد پڑتا ہے کہ پچہلے ہفتے کے دوران لفظ چوبی قطر پیما کا استمال خاصی فراوانی سے ہوا ہے . نجانے آلات کا نام رکھتے وقت لوگ آسان لفظ کیوں نہیں استمال کرتے. لفظ تھرما میٹر ہی لیجیئے، سیدھا سا لفظ تھا ، اردو کی کتابوں میں ایسے ہی لکھا جا سکتا تھا یاروں نے ترجمے کی ٹھان لی . “گرمی ناپؤ” Garmee Naapoo بڑا سیدھا سا ترجمہ تھا ایسے ہی جیسے مشرقی پنجاب میں اسے ” پخ میچو ” کہتےہیں. پخ کے معنی گرمی اور میچو کے معنی ناپنے والا . اب جو ترجمہ ہوا وہ اصل سے بھی مشکل کہیں ” مقیاس ا لحرارت ” اور کہیں ” حرارت پیما ” لکھا ہوا ملتا ہے. خیر ہم بات چوبی قطر پیما کی کر رہے تھے . اس آ لے کا یہ نام رکھے جانے کی وجہ زبان کے ساتھ ساتھ شرعی بھی ہے. اسلامی جمیعت طلبہ کو تو سب جانتے ہی ہوں گے . دنیاوی مسا ءل کو شرعی انداز میں حل کرنے میں اس جماعت کا کوئی ثانی نہیں . جن دنوں ” شراب چیز ہی ایسی ہے نہ چھوڑی جا ۓ ” بہت مشہور تھی اپنے ناظمین گا یا کرتے تھے ” نماز چیز ہی ایسی ہے نہ چھوڑی جا ۓ”. دیکھا غزل کا مزہ بھی لے لیا اور خدا کی نافرمانی بھی نہ کی .اسی طرح نا ظمیں بھائی جب کسی تنظیمی بہن کو پہلا عشقیہ خط لکھا کرتے تھے تو آغاز اس شعر سے ہوتا تھا

yes you are right, there were three of em against ali ahmed ahmed kurd but issue is that majority din’t let kurd have a say infact issue was whether kurd was right when called them firhoon? answer is no and any sensible person would agree with my intrepretation. i don’t know much about kurd so can’t really tell you why did he say that but making such statment after revolutionary movement raised the doubts in people mind about independence of judiciary which is in benefit of those who did not want to see independent judiciary.

چیف جسٹس پر تنقید نہیں اگر کوئی ڈاکٹر پر بھی تنقید کرے گا تو وہ زرداری کا آدمی سمجا جائے گا اور عدالت حالیہ اس کو سزا دے گی

just like your id you are twisting the general principle of judiciary and their intrepretation of law. parliment makes law but judiciary decides the validity and intrepret it in their judgments. seniority issue is no longer a valid argument because supreme court in their judgment decided that appointment of judges would’nt be on basis of of seniority.
if parliment thinks this law is unjust they can pass an act and make a new law but they did’nt do anything about this in past two years and even if they pass the legislation people would ask question about their supermacy?
kurd could’nt answer that why did he call them firhoon that raise the question mark on ali ahmed kurd’s credibility.
supreme court cannot change the judgment of their previous case and it’s mendatory for them to follow their previous judgment it’s like judgments of supreme courts are binding for lower courts and supreme court cannot depart from that ratio or decission unless parliment pass an act to make it a bad law.
i hope you would get it. it’s nothing to do with judiciary if parliment change the law regarding seniority supreme court will follow it if they don’t supreme court will follow their previous judgments regarding this issue.

parliment cannot do anything untill parliment is full with honest parlimenterian unfortunately in last 62 we never had any credible parliment. we choose parlimentarians on basis of their faith, ethnicity, tribe, wealth, power and hell load of sh!t rather than integrity, honesty, loyality and care for poor people and expect them to do any good for us, well that never happened in past and will never happen in future.
i think we are the to blame for still don’t know what is right for us can’t even raise a voice for our basic right.

supreme court did follow that case which you mentioned and thats why interevened when president tried to appoint them on basis of seniority.
i think you are missing the point read my post again. if parliments thinks it’s not a good law they can pass an act to make a new law so whats the problem make a new law rather than mourning and arguing on talk shows.
btw our parliment is not supreme because of presidency(i am talking about office not person).
there cannot be a sole supreme power in any country, seperation of power is as important as heart in body. you cannot give all the power to one institution.
here is the case scenario for you imagine paliment got all the power and control in everything in elections right wing party wins the election with over whelming majority and sits in parliment what would you do if they made the law which is not acceptable to us including minorities. THATS WHY SEPERATION OF POWER IS VERY IMPORTANT IT MAKES ALL INSTITUTIONS ACCOUNTABLE AND AT THE SAME TIME DON”T GIVE THEM ALL POWER BECAUSE THEY MIGHT ABUSE THE POWER.
Judge should act like a firoon during his duty on law. Judge is not a public leader that should act according to people’s liking or disliking.
Ali Ahmed Kurd is right principally but not lawfully, CJ is correct according to the current law. Parliment should amend the law to choose a judge institutionally rather then CJ or CJ+other judges do this job.

Problem is fourfold. Ali Kurd could be good lawyer (though I doubt) but for sure he was good leader and respectable and acceptable one among lawyers at that time when he was leading from Balochistan. He is person of less IQ, he is not well read and well conversant, his vocabulary is less, he has less mastery over urdu language, he does not understand the nuances of the words he use.
the name of this program is Meray Mutabiq, means according to Dr Masood. So if you like his analysis, then see his program, if you do not like his analysis then go to the program that has similar format. But is there any other program with similar format, I doubt. All other programs are talk shows not based on analysis. Other anchors inject their views but do not comprehensively analyze as does Shahid Masood. So this program does not need to be fair and balance.
Talat sometimes carry out his analysis but his analysis is balanced in a sense that he mentions the other parties view atleast and then mock it with reasons and logic.
At the end no one discussed what is the check on Judges. Means subservient or independent judiciary what is the check. Problem is other than Iftikhar Ch. before him or after him, the CJ of supreme court or judges of supremecourt are always politically affiliated individuals or some close or far relative of any politician. What is the check on judges and why this check is not visible in last sixty years.

In my humble view the reasons a person could change allegiance to a cause, movement, party or leader are:
a) The person has sold his/her soul / has been bought
b) There is clash of interest
c) The person develops differences in principles
d) The person reliases that the cuase / movement / party /leader is changing its position from the original cause
e) The person has gone insane or loses his ability to think objectively or is blinded
f) The person is so naive that (s)he falls easily into the trap of someone who is against the cause, by listening to sermons and changes the allegiance
It seesm that many folks who have commented so far, believe that Kurd and aitzaz fall under (a) above. Hope they have enough proof of it.
Calling someone `Mr. Briefcase`also falls under the same category.

No body is talking about the sad events of Lahore and Maingora. In my opinion, Shahid Masood was also suppose to conduct a show on recent terrorist attacks in the country. But in my opinion, he just condcut his shows for certain personalities. When Mehsood was killed, Dr. SM was continously saying that Rehman Malik is lying. He was not concerned with the issue. He was just trying to prove that Rehman Malik is lying. Then it was proved that he was lying. I don’t know, why he just want to concentrate on few personalities and not doing talking about real issues. Most of the people on this forum love him or hate him, why not we discuss issues. Any suggestion, how we can identify the terrorists among us or any method, how we can helo security forces in capturing them?

I was expecting someone to talk about issues but I think people on this forum always want to prove that what they think about some one (may be Rehman Malik or May be Shahid Masood or anybody else) is right and the rest is wrong. We should equally criticize Punjab Govt., because it is also not able to protect lives in their capital Lahore. The tragedy is that this group of PPPP jialay or “Jahil Ass” people are under educated and have very little command of the English Language. MR Ali seems to have his own principles of morality and justice. It is evident from this discussion that he wanted to have his hold on judiciary, to direct it and ask it to make desicions according to his own likings.
It is really sad to see the real face of person Ali Kurd who , knowingly or unknowlingly being played by his masters. I used to respect him for his struggle but now i cannot say i have the same level of respect for him.
True we dont want supreme court / Judiciary to become what indian Supreme court has evolved in to. Ali should provide concrete logic behind his stance which he lacks. Calling Supremecourt “Firoon” beacause it is not doing what is not it’s job in first place , for personal gains and to support personal gains of his friends and colleagues is shamefull display of corruption in itself.

I believe that all the folks who comment are true Pakistanis and have the interest of Pakistan in their heart. If our cause is united and developed Pakistan, what do we get by fighting amongst ourselves and calling names to each other. We shall differ in opinion but shall not fight amongst each other. Lets try to convince others of our view point through logic and if other person has logic we shall accept it.
Most of the power players change their position and principles as their interest suit them. Few months ago Doctor shahid sahib was being cursed when he joined PTV and appeared in interview in Jawab deh but now he is considered as the only patriotic around. Few months ago Kurd was a darling of all and now many believe that he has gone back on his principles. If this is true and there are many other examples where our heroes have disappointed us then why shall we get into the traps of their sermons. Lets keep our support open till we see actions.
I dont think we can afford to further divide amongst ourselves. Lets unite for a better and developed Pakistan. If this is not what we want then please continue calling each other whatever filth we can think of.

Kurd is talking illogically, he is lying same way like PPP beneficiaries do, everybody (conciousless person) has his price to be sold out and Kurd is also sold out, why part of the media and lawyers were criticising the grovernment for it’s wrong doings, one of the sudden they became “himayati” of the government? Because they became beneficairies of PPP like some of the people on this site, although they are seeing with their open eyes that every where it is disaster, record breaking mehengai, corruption at all level all time high and no security to common men except for those good for nothing ministers, and still they write that everything is ok and people are eating the cakes instead of bread wah wah. it would be the same if some started writing in Pushto or Blochee or Sindhi.
Consider English as a connecting link between our different ethnic groups and try writing in English if possible thus making it possible for us to also participate in the discussion.

I really like today’s program and it was with the context of the struggle led by the lawyers, civil society and media for the restoration of Judges in Dictator’s regime.
I totally admire the important issue raised by Ansar Abbasi at the end that the Lawyer’s poltics is much more complication than our National politics, I won’t be wrong that there doesn’t exist the democracy in the Lawyer’s politics and everyone in trying to be the Dictator and dominant leadership with expectation for other to follow which is not deliverable.
I believe that the Lawyers forum should comeup with the reconcilition strtaegy so it could be rational.
It totally exhibit by Ali Ahmed Kurd’s reactions that he has changed the party. I really do not see the prominent leaders like Choudry Aitziaz or Muneer A Malik or Ali Ahmed Kurd to criticize on the current government despite the problems got more exacerbate in this era, and to clarify this Dr. Sahib brought up the true reason that their mouths have been shut by awarding the big cases to earn big chunks ….

Ali Ahmed Kurd says that he respect the President of Pakistan because he is President and calls Chief Justice of Pakistan, “Firo’oun”… He shouldn’t forget that President takes Oath from Chief Justice of Pakistan, therefore Chief Justice reserves higher prestige than the President !!!
Well as long as Mr. 10% is over us …. we’ll witness number of black sheeps in the herd !!!

They did nothing on making all the people like you to make Judicial system unquestioned.
