Programme did not carry ferocious debate at all . Multi-dimensional policy can be formulated in a country which has its own policy befitting to it’s National Character and National Interests but we are only following foot prints or accustomed to take dictations from the Big Bosses-
Our politicians have started talking about dialogue with Taliban now because there is ricochet of dialogue with Taliban differentiating between’Good Taliban’ and ‘Bad Taliban ‘ in the west . So West can initiate dialogue with the good Taliban – who will decide who is good or bad- which would be serving for America’s greater interest they are good Taliban and who will deter they are bad..But what we are doing for our National Interest.. Our pseudo philosophers call Imran Khan ‘TALIBAN KHAN’ when he emphasizes the need of understanding splinter groups of Taliban to formulate our better independent policy which could only serve for our National Interest which definitely could not be destabilization of Pakistan through internal chaos, innocent killings in a proxy war against terror. If its our war then Pakistanis should better decide their strategy to curb this Nuisance. Why do our politicians wait for the lines to be decided some where else which they need to follow blindly…? It’s amazing that left overs of ‘Mother of Taliban’ take its sinful to take Taliban’s name as ‘Axis of Interest’ doesn’t allow this in the contemporary environs.
Thumbs up for the Dr. who can only hoist issues but resolve doesn’t recline with him.
