    Good Effort by Talat, I think Media Should fellow his foot steps to promote and show to the word, the effort made by Pakistan to cater this curse of insurgencies from Pakistan. This show is much better than the so called popular shows in which Anchors rests in studios and always try to make fun from stupid discussions of politicians. Keep it up Talat… U are the Best

    Talat , always try to bring out the issues in a true professional way . Pakistani public should need to view these kind of information. Where as most other talk shows are roamed around Shabaz Sharif’s speech these days.

    I have been following the programmes that Tallat presents and I am not impressed at all, with few exceptions.

    My objection is: he is over confident. He talks like a scholar but I can not see any accomplishments except he came at the right time and using right connection became an anchor person.

    Can he write a best analysis article? The answer is no. He has no suitable reading or skills to do that. His arguments are very vague. For example, I recently watched one of his programmes in which he visited a village near Lahore and then blasted the government in a negative tone. I could not understand what fascinated him to do so. He is a man of the same calibre like Rauf Klasra, Kashif Abbassi, or other similar fellows who can write on anything, can present a programme on anything, but will not be good enough in anything.

    We need at least few guys who have the right experience, analysis skills and knowledge to do a good job on TV. I can not watch such shows which are only time wastage in term of long impact. Shahid Masood is too anti-ppp and lacks credibility. Haroon Rasheed is again weak and sometimes his analysis overrates Imran Khan when things are quite simple. Irfan Sidddiqui also comes from a particular ideology and that is quite reflective from his analysis. The only programme which is above average than others is Capital talk. A few other guys like Absar Alam also do a good job.

    We need some more guys to have an intellectual, factual and critical analysis.

    My only email for this month.

    you are so wrong bro. Talat is in journalism since 1984 and I like him since he was doing New Night at PTV. (do you remember that)

    I bet you weren’t even born yet at that time.

    LoL at “the only programme which is above average than other is Capital talk”. Tells how good of an analyst are you!

    I will suggest please to not go for personal attacks. Otherwise a time will come when no one will write thoughts on this forum.

    I am not a fan of Capital Talk but his home work is better than others and there is less inconsistency in his arguments. Otherwise there is no one who can put forward a factual analysis like Jeremy Paxman or Sultan Ahmed.

    @janu germen

    Brother, I am old enough:) I am not a young guy. Please remember he spent years in PTV and he had a lot of time but did he every write something that
    impress any one? A book or something similar that may show he is really an energetic guy.

    I have nothing to do with the politics in Pakistan and I being a sincere Pakistani just do not like overconfident guys (He is bit proud for nothing and that is my main worry). This is a positive criticism and if he improves, this will help others as he has some viewer ship.
